Remember When [Nolan]

Reno just chuckled again, giving Nolan a small, apologetic smile. He hadn't meant to surprise his friend or anything by this, and neither did he think he'd react in such a way by it. "Sorry..? Don't get upset man, really didn't think it would be such a big deal," he snickerd, ruffling up the brunette's hair a bit. "And what does not make sense? It's my birthday, if I want to treat you to ice cream, there's nothing wrong ro weir about that," he pouted. "Besides, I already got what I wished for anyway, thanks to you," he smiled softly, glancing out towards the city again. It was almost complelty dark by now.

"You're my friend, so yeah it is a big deal." Nolan huffed a bit, nibbling a bit more on his ice cream to cool off. Shaking his head a bit of the males hand, Nolan gave the male a sheepish smile. "Its not weird or wrong, its just its usually the other way around. like someone doing something for ya." He remarked, furowing his eyebrows at the males comment. "What was your wish?"

Reno didn't answear right away, just took in the view for another couple of seconds, watching the last rays of sun go down before looking back at his friend, his smile bright and for once looking geuinly happy. "To not be alone," he said simply, but making it sound like it meant the whole world. "So yeah, you already did something for me Sparky," he laughed, back to his typical self as he flicked Nolan on the nose. "And isn't it always the birthday kid's job to treat to something?" he went on chuckling, jumping up on his feet, balancing on the edge of the roof mindlessly. "So eat up and lets get you back home before anyone decides to notice, unless...." he triwlerd around, smirking smugly down at the other. "You wanna have a sleep over at my place~"

Nolan blinked a bit in surprise at the male's genuine smile, but gave the red headed male a smile of his own at his answer. To not be alone,huh? Nolan probably would've wished for the same thing on his birthday. But he never really did have anyone yo share his birthday. Well that is until the red head showed up abd hopefully Nolan would continue to see him. "I guess I did, huh?...Well happy birthday ginger," he remarked out to Reno with a delighted smile, before resuming to eating his ice cream. At the sleep over comment, Nolan paused for a moment before glancing back up at the ginger with a curious gaze. "I rather sleep over with you than go back to that place. I can deal with anything they say." Nolan responded in a non hesitant tone, not really caring to how they punish him the next day.

A warm, comforting feeling spread out within Reno as his friend wished him a happy birthday. And who said days like this needed big things to celebrate? This was more than enough for the redhead. He blinked, honestly a bit taken aback when Nolan agreed with his little idea without hesitation. Still, he couldn't help but frown a bit, not liking the idea of Nolan being punished, especially for something that Reno would drag him into. "If you're sure..." he began slowly, but soon enough bak to his usual self. At least he could give his friend a real bed to sleep in for once. "If they do punish you, I'll be there to punish them right back!" he declared with confidence, pulling Nolan up by his arm and began walking back towards the fire escape. "Come on then!"

Nolan finished off his ice cream, tilting his head at the male at the sight of his frown. "I'm dure, and don't worry about the punishment, okay?" He reassured the male as he hopped up onto his feet on the roof as reno pulled him up. "Says the guy who gets kicked out by them," he chuckled a bit as he then began to follow the male back to the fire escape. "But thanks for that."

"Hey you should know me by now. I always get right back up, no matter how many times someone kick me," Reno said smugly, but still with seriousness to it. Turning around, he began to lead them both back towards the little hole he and his parents called home. After maybe 15 minutes of storrling around and walking past more dark aleys they reached the redhead's apartment. It was small, barely enough for two people, but that's what the majority of the people in the slums could afford with anyway, if even that. "Not as big as your place, but it's definitely more cozy," Reno said brightly as he cloed the door behind them. Snapping his head towards the bedroom as low murmuring where heard, Reno's expression fell as he wordlessly made his way inside. It was dark inside the room, the soft muttering from the woman passed out on the bed diying down when Reno reached her side and soothingly whispered something her. Tucking her in when she fell back asleep, and making sure the old wheelchair was close enough incase she'd need it he wlaked back outside and gently closing th bedroom door shut after himself. "My bed's way more comfortable than the thing you sleep on," he said then, back smiling again in that ususal way of his, leading his friend towards his bed, and then without wraning pushing the other down on it. "Bouncy right?" he snickerd, jumping down as well on it.

"Or punches you," Nolan muttered to himself in an amused tone as he continued to follow the ginger. After a while, they finally appeared in front of a small apartment. Sure it was small, but at least it was a home for the ginger unlike the orphange, which was a place to store orphans like an animal shelter, waiting for them to be adopted. If they turned 18, then all they had to do was kick their asses out onto the streets. "Its still a home." He responded to Reno as he looked around the apartment as the ginger lwad him and and closed the door. Qickly his ears perked up at the sound of light murming coming from a room. Nolan tilted his head as he watched the red head go into the room, catching a glimpse of the woman on the bed before looking away. The way the male had looked made the brunette believe the woman to be his mother. But he just kept the question to himself as the red head led him to his bed."Most likely so," he remarked in an amused tonr, blinking a bit in surprise as he was pushed onto the bed. It was way more comfortable than his bed pretty much. "Gotta agree with you on that." Nolan chuckled, stretching out onto the bed.

Reno chuckled as he watched the other spread out across his bed, rolling around until he was laying beside him. The bed may not be the biggest, but for two skinny boys like themselves it was enough. "Hey, you want something to eat or anything?" he asked then, turning his head so they were facing each other. "Might not have much, but it's betetr than nothing," he smiled, sitting up and crawling over the other boy when something else seemed to cross his mind. Quickly crossing the small room and dissapearing inside the other bedroom again, he returned with an extra pillow, which he immedtly shoved at Nolan's face playfully before crawling back ont the bed. "Don't want the princess to be uncomfortable," he teased as he kicked off his shoes carelessly on the floor, his shirt soon following it before he crawled under the blanktes.

At the males food question, Nolan shook his head a bit in response. "Nah, Im fine. I still got ice cream in me remember?" He chuckled a bit, answering the male's question. Now he wouldnt mind some food in the morning though. If he got to stay that long here. It didnt seem like the red head had asked the person on the bed about Nolan. Unless he did so when Nolan hadn't been looking. Suddenly the male crawled iver him and left the room quickly before coming back with a pillow in his hand and shoving it into his face. "Who days that I was?" He huffed a bit in a chidlish way before murmering a thanks in return. He raised an eyebrow at the red head before following in suit and got umder the covrrs after placing the pillow down.

"Still, one could never be to sure," Reno snickers, grinning typically at him as he got under the covers as well. Barely a couple of seconds passed before Reno had wrapped himself around Nolan, snuggling up against him as if he were the only thing giving warmth. "You're like an oversized Teddy Bear, the more I think about it," he mumbled sleepily, pressing his cheek comfortably against Nolan's shoulder. "Made for cuddling~"

Nolan yawned a bit as he stuffed the few bills into his back pocket after his last new client had left a few minutes ago. Well at least he had enough money to payhe rent for this shitty place for one more month. So far, doing this thing was getting pretty much easy for him. Some times the sex was good. And if the person tried anything that he didn't like, then all he had to do was to give them a taste of an electrical shock. Though it was a bit strange that most of his customers were leaning more into the male clientele. Nolan didnt really mind since he had a liking for both sexes. Although men were seeming more his type due to their roughness. Gods...he was a tad bit masochistic, wasnt he?

Soon enough the shirtless Nolan, who's collarbone was covered with hickies from his last client, had heard multiple bamging knocks at his door. "Better not be him coming back for more. I'll shock his ass," the brunette muttered to himself as he got up from his bed and headed over to the door, opening it.

Reno had already been suspecting it for a while, because really, in his line of work and the shitty place they grown up and live in, you have ears everywhere, and rumurs words spread quickly amongst the inhabitants. And it wasn't such an uncommon 'job' either, both men and women alike were either forced to prositute themselves to survive or simple ahd no other choice but to. Or some just preferd it. Still, even as he started to hear rumors amongst his co wokres about the 'cute and firece little brunette boy' and how fucking great he was, Reno had fond it harder and harder to contain himself. At first, he had simple forced himself not to care. It was Nolan's life and he could choose whatever the fuck he wanted to do with his life, and everyone, including his clients (god dammit he hated calling them that...) knew the boy could take care of himself, that he was anything but defensless. But the more his popularity grew, especilly inside his own gang he spend most of hsi time with already, Reno finally just snapped. Not even Kim had managed to calm him down whenevr the topic of h'ow fucking flexible and hot and worth every cent' Nolan was, the redhead beat down whoever had said it was. Including his own gang. Kim, having known him the longest had been wise enough to step aside, while singing something along the lines of 'I don't care, I still ship it~'
He had been in a better mood that day, having decided to pay his other friend a visit, only for it all to drop the moment he saw one of the elder guys from his gang walk out of Nolan's place looking stupidly content. Havign spotted the young redhead, the much bigger man ahd just grinend smugly, patting him on the back and asked if he was here for a round himself, only to get knocked out the next second. Leaving the man to bleed on the ground with a borken nose (and a couple of missing teeth) Reno procceded to bang loudly on Nolan's door, looking down right pissed off as the brunette finally opened up. The hickies were the first thing Reno's blue eyes saw. "You fucking stink," he mutterd, inviting himself inside.

Nolan tilted his head to the side at the sight of the seemingly pissed off red head, quirking an eyebrow at him as well. He scowled a bit at the comment directed at him, watching as the red head moved inside into his place. "What the fuck's wrong with ya?" The brunette slammed shut the door, wrinkling his nose in distaste at the male's attitude. "And I don't stink," he grumbled under his breath as he leaned back against the door, glaring a bit over at the male. He had expected a visit from the red head, because he was used to getting unexpected visits from his friend. Although today seemed strange... The red head seemed to be in a pissed off mood, and it couldn't be his fault. Nolan hadn't seen the red head at all today. His eyebrows furrowed a bit as he looked from the red head to the door for a bit before back over at the red head. Did the ginger run into that guy? If he had to recall, the guy was from the ginger's guy unfortunately.

"At least take a fucking shower, who knows where does clinets of yours carries with them," Reno went on sourly, inoring Nolan's question and slumping down on the couch. And cover up those damn hickes, the redhead wanted to add, but managed to keep that comment to himself. Sighign tiredly. he laid down ob old couch, ignoring the possibilties of Nolan and that other moron having used it right before him or not.
"So, for how long then?" he grumbled out, glaring up at the ceiling, his question refering to Nolan's line of work.

Nolan scowled lightly, rolling his eyes at the the shower and client comment. "My last client left a few minutes ago, I would've taken a shower but your ass showed up." he retorted to the male's sour comment, frowning a bit as the red head laid slouching on the couch, staring up at the ceiling. The brunette stared over at the red head for a bit before averting his eyes. "I did it a few rare times when I was sixteen...but I truly started as work a few months ago." Nolan commented over to the ginger, wrinkling his nose at his teenage years. Everything had just crashed onto the brunette after he left the orphanage due to the life threatening incident he had caused. And one of the girls on the streets had given him an idea. Though the idea didn't last for long, but it had came back immediately a few months ago. He never told the ginger, because...well it was his life. If he didn't want to mention his job, then he wasn't. End of story.

I know, Reno thought grimly to himself. I literally just ran into him. And knocked a couple of his teeth out. The man was probably still left unconscious somewhere out there. And the mere thought of how smug that pig had dared to look when mentioning Nolan made Reno want to go after him and make sure he got run over by a car.
As Nolan casually answered his question, Reno closed his eyes and mentally began to count down from 100, kinda wished he hadn't asked. Because all he got out of knowing, was more overbearing jealous wanting to spill over the edge. "And here I thought we shared and told each other everything," he mumbled, trying to sound like his usual childish self and not like a jealous and possessive asshole hungry for blood.
"...for some reason you're very popular among the gangs around here," he began slowly, shifting over his gaze towards his friend. "The one I'm in especially, any reason to that?"

Nolan let out a soft sigh at hear that childish comment made by the ginger. That was true...but there were exceptions. If that ice cream shop manager hadn't said anything about the drugs and such, Nolan wouldnt have found out until maybe way later. "Oh yeah, such a wonderful idea of telling my hot blooded friend that I'm screwing around for money, just passed my mind." He remarked in a sarcastic tone, furrowing his eyebrows a bit at the gingers comment about him being so popular among the gangs. He snortrd a bit as the red head questioned him about his gang. "Does it look like I know? Guess sex is like a stress relief to gang members?" He snided, shrugging his shoulders a bit."guess you got alot of stressed guys in that gang?"

Reno just snorted at the comment, not gonna deny the there might be a lot of stress going on with the crowds he hangs around with. As used they might be in with that type of work, it's impossible to not get some sort of stress out of it. Especially these last couple of month, with all the shit that's been going down and what not. Reno wasn't one of those needing stress relief however... Ok well maybe he did, but not for the same reasons his colleagues had. Ugh. He still wanted to punch them.
"You're like a pedophile magnet..." he went on, ignoring whatever it was Nolan said or snided with. "Alot of the old geezers have taken such a liking to ya."
He didn't even care how childish or hateful he might sounding at this point, he was too pissed off to care.

"A pedophile magnet?" Nolan remarked, tilting his head at the male before walking over to the couch and plopping down onto the couch. "My clients aren't only middle aged men." He huffed a bit, rolling his eyes a bit. "Why does it bother you so much," hr added, raising an eyebrow at reno. He was being more hot blooded than usual.

Again, Reno decided nt to answer the brunette's question and instead dept glaring up at the ceiling. Oh if looks could kill, there'd surely be one big hole burning through it right about now. Closing his eyes, he let out a deep sigh, moving a bit when he felt Nolan slump down on the couch as well. His question just made the ginger want to give him a punch as well. Wasn't it kinda obvious to why he's in such a pissy mood?
Muttering something under his breathe, he pushed himself up into a sitting position, only to allow himself to fall forward and use Nolan's lap as his head pillow, and wrapping his arms obsessively around his waist.

Nolan scowled a bit as his questions just kept on being unanswered by the male, causing him to say, "If you keep ignoring my questions, I'll do the same damn thing as well." He huffed a bit as he watched as the ginger pushed himself back up before falling forward and into Nolan's lap, laying his head down in his lap and wrapping his arms around Nolan's waist. "Thought you said that I stunk," he grumbled, glaring down at the male with an unamused gaze. Was the red head really that mad that he hadn't told him?

A stubborn and muffled reply from the redhead was something like 'I don't care', currently keeping his face pressed up against Nolan's stomach, not planing on letting go of the other anytime soon. Ironically, as pissed off as he was right then at his friend, it was still Nolan's presence that made him calm down. To some extent, that is.
Another grumble left his mouth, as if to mock the brunette, before suddenly pulling the other down on top of him. "Quit whoring around," he demanded, expression so serious he almost looked like someone else. "Either find another job, or come live with me. More than you already do, I mean."

Gees, the red head could be such a kid sometimes. Nolan thought to himself as he flicked the male's right ear with a light smirk. "What was that, Ginger? Didn't really hear ya." he snickered at another grumble before cursing in surprise as he was pulled onto the the red head. He blinked down at the red head, taking quick notice at the sight of his change of expression. Was this Reno? "Looking so damn serious," he grumbled under his breath, furrowing his eyebrows at the male's demands and offers. "Ya don't think I tried to find another job rather than this or being an errand boy for a gang?" He let out a light sigh, giving the male an unsure expression. "This job ain't gonna kill me, Reno. You know more than anyone else that I can send an electrical shock through some jackass." He paused for a moment, tilting his head at the male. "Your offer sounds tempting, but you do know that I'll bring people there right? I don't always have sex for money."

Reno's expression softend up a bit, but still stayed seriours enough to let Nolan know that he wasn't joking around. Yes, he's well aware of how capable Nolan is on his own, he's sufferd the guy's wrath more than anyone for sure. But... still. Aside from his growing jealosy, Nolan desrved so muchbetter than this.
He rolled his eyes, huffing a bit at brunette's answer. "I already have Kim doing that, that extra room I have is good for something, just lock it whenever you're about to use it," he mutterd, leaning his head back again. "Anything's better than you havign to whore yourself for this shithole here."
The thought of Nolan bringing home other people, even if it wasn't for money, still sit that well with the redhead, but... Some things he'd just hvae to accept. He could deal with that later, as long he quit this stupid job.
