Remember When [Nolan]

"You are a snarky little brat, aren't ya" Nolan quickly retorted over at the male, narrowing his eyes at the male eating the ice cream. The little brat was ignoring him as well. He walked over to the table, grabbed the remote and turned the tv completely off. "Well aren't you getting so comfortable," the brunette mumbled under his breath as he stared down at the kid. "I'm a friend of Reno's." he simply answered the male's question, shrugging his shoulders. "So what?"

"Whatever gave me away," Hiro nonchallanty responed, back to fully focusing on whatever was on the television. He jsut gave a low hum as Nolan introduced himself of ebign a friend of Reno, apparently having lost interesst in knowing. That is, until the brunette grabebd the remote from him and rudely turned the TV off. Pouting, Hiro glared up at the older, taking another spon full of ice cream and globbing it up. "So nothing," he mutterd. "I just need a palce to crash for now, and this place was the only option for now. So, if you'd be so kind to move your skinny ass out of the way and give back the remote..." he mutterd, holding his hand out for the device.

Okay, the little brat was starting to piss him off a bit with that attitude of his. Did he really expect Nolan not to say something or do something? The corners of his mouth twitched at the male's not so respectful demand of him to get out of the way. "How about you crash outside then, you little ungrateful brat." Nolan scowled darkly before leaning down and picking up the male by the scuff of the jacket and as well as the boy's bag. Then headed to the door, dragging the male to it with ease. His blood pressure didn't need some damn kid making him cause an electrical fire.

"Hey, hey! Let go, you skinny asshole!" Hiro immediately protested, kicking his legs and trying to claw at Nolan's hand to get out of his hold. But alas, it was no use, unsurprisingly. Hiro was littearly only skin and bones to begin with, so carrying him off agaisnt his will was of no challnge to anyone, really. Just as they reached their door, his struggling never ceasing, the very person who acutally owned the aprtment walked in, giving them both a questioning look. Looking bewteen his friend and the kid, Reno's eyes narrowed a bit at Hiro's nonchalalnt wave, and rubbed the side of his head. "I'm not so sure I want to ask..." the redhead mutterd to himself. "Nolan, please put the brat down for a moment," he began, eyeing the boy with a scolding and unaporoiving look. Hiro didn't seem to botherd by it, however, in fact he ahd even calmed down a bit. "I'll be staying here for a days-"
"Ok, throw him out," Reno quickly interupted Hiro, steppiing away from the door and ingoring Hiro's cries of protest.
"Oh come on! It's your own damn fault i'm here anyway! Take responsability you demented shit-face!"

"This coming from the boy with only skin and bones? You weight as light as a feather," he remarked out in a sarcastic tone, wrinkling his nose as the male clawed at his hand to get free. Nolan quickly took notice of the red head walking in, giving him a displeased look. He gritted his teeth a bit before dropping the kid back onto the floor, crossing his arms over his chest. "So you do know the brat unfortunately." He glanced between the two, rolling his eyes as the red head hadn't even listened to most of the kid's explanation before telling him to thrown the kid back out. Nolan just stood there for a moment and gave the red head a flat look. "He's your problem now." he scoffed in annoyance and started to walk over to the couch, but stopped to glance down at the brat. Suddenly he reached out and flicked the male in the middle of the forehead, sending an light minor electrical shock through the male. "Don't piss me off." he growled lowly before continuing over to the couch.

Reno just gave the boy a tired look, covering one of his ears as Hiro went on to call him names and what not. He only really focused back on the boy as he heard him yelp out in slight pain as Nolan flicked him on the head, apparently with a bit of his electrical spark to it. Instead of going off into another little rage fit, the boy's eyes had grown wide with curiosity and wonder as he stared after Nolan, rubbing his head a bit abstractedly.
"He's got powers too?!" Hiro burst excitedly, all that anger just ahd currently blown out the window. "I don't think-"
"An Electrokinesis user?! It's like from a superhero movie!"
"Calm dow-"
"And here i thought you were the weird one! Well you still are, but HEY. Electro-freaken-inesis!"
"Hey-"
"You could even cause fires with that! Destructions! Even-!"
Reno reached out and quickly covered the boy's mouth, dragging him and his backpack towards the door before he finish his sentence. "Just go home kid," he muttered sternly, about to close the door on him. Only to stop as he saw the desperation on the boy's face. "It's... just for a few days...." he mumbled, staring down at his feet. "If you didn't want to deal with me then you should've just let that other guy shoot me..."
"......" Reno sighed, rubbing his face tireadly and trying to understand why he suddenly felt guilt over some brat he didn't even really know.

As Nolan plopped down onto the couch, quirking an eyebrow at how the young male's anger just diminished and ecstatic surprise replaced it. He didn't even hear a yelp or anything...just had the male's wide eyes on him, filled with curiosity. "This kid...should not have any more sugar." he commented under his breath, narrowing his eyes at the kid at the mention of them being weird. "I could totally fry you about now..." Nolan remarked out, watching as the boy's mouth was covered and dragged to the door by the red head. "is the kid in trouble or something, ginger?" he questioned out both of the male's actually, daring them to ignore him.

"He was," Reno asnwerd Nolan, keeping his stren gaze looke don the boy still glued on his door step, pouting up at him with a stubborn look. Apparently he had no plans on leaving without a fight, if even at all. "This little 'genius' here had the great idea of spying on some deal between gangs gone wrong, and even sticking around when shit went down and some cops got involed," Reno tiedly explained, Hiro giving him a an offended glare durng it. "And I, for some reason, decided to kill of the guy who had been about to blow his brains out," Reno finished, giving Hiro one last look before trhwoing his amrs up in a deafted manner and dragged himself off to the couch, throwing himself down on it by Nolan's side. "Two days, and then you're out."
Heaivng out a sigh or releif, Hiro hurridly closed the door after himself and skipped over bto where the two male were, slumping down on the floor while tightly holding onto his bag. "And don't piss either of us off," Reno warned him, to which Hiro just stuck his tounge out.

"Well not really a genious, now is he?" Nolan quickly commented at what the red head was telling him about the boy. So thats how they knew each? "Of course you'd save him you aint heartless ginger.." he grumbled over at the red head, quirking an eyebrow at how the inger finally gave in to having the boy stay with them for two days.
He watched the young male skip over to them and plopping down on the floor. Well he seemed so giddy as of now. "I'll most definitely fry you." He added as a warning to the boy, not really objecting to what the red head decided. It was the males apartment.

"No you won't," Hiro shot back cheeckily at Nolan, again without bothering to turn his head around to look at him. Putting his backpack on the floor besdie him, he digged out his psp, putting it on mute and began to play whatever he had on it. He didn't want to risk gettign kicked out just when he managed to convince the guy to let him stay.
Reno, meanwhile, just sighed tireadly and wrapped his arms around Nolan, resting his head agaisnt the brunette's chest. "I'd rather you not fry him while in here, the smell would be to troublesome to get rid off," he mumbled. At this Hiro scoffed, and mutterind something udner his breathe along the lines off 'sadistic jerks', but toehrwise didn't seem to upset by it.
"Are you two fuck buddies?" he then asked suddenly, giving tem both a blank look over his shoulder, There wanso disgust or anything of the sort on his expression, with his tone to go by it was more like he'd asked about the weather.

"Oh you dont believe me?" Brown eyes stared down at the young boy before turning attention to the psp. "Would be shame for that psp..." His voice trailed off, not caring to hide his menace in his threat. Nolan huffed a bit, rolling his eyes as the red head wrapped his arms around the brunette and set his head on his chest. "Yeah,yeah." Nolan grumbled, flicking the red head on the nose. "He better stay away from my ice cream too." Nolan gestured his head in the direction of the ice cream before shooting an amused look at Hiros question."Friends with benefits. So for your sake, you best never walk in on us." Nolan cheekily answered the boy with a smirk.

Reno just whined a bit as nolan flicked him on the nose, but otherwise didn't seem to botherd by it and went on with snuggling his 'Teddy Bear', apparently to tired to do anythign else at that point. Hiro gave the two a blank look, looking between their face for a moment before turning hs focus back to his game. That threat didn't go by unnoticed of course, but all Hiro did was stick his tounge out, again, at the older. Just beaucse he had a cool power didn't mean he'll be less annoying....
"You look a little to lovey dovey to only be fuck buddies," he pointed out flalty, wrinkling his nose at the thought of walking in on them. Ew, not something he'd need to see.

Nolan scoffed a bit as the red head just whined at his action, but kept on snuggling him. Oh great...two children in this place. How was he ever going to get sleep with these two? "Guess it was a rough day?" he casually asked the red head, sticking his tongue back out at the boy with an annoyed look. "We're close friends, not lovey dovey." he countered the boy's comment, sneering a bit at the male's wrinkling of his nose. Probably thinking of the thought of walking in on the two older males. "Not my fault that the ginger is such a cuddler. Been that way ever since I met him."

"Eh, I'd say we're pretty 'lovey dovey'," Reno couldn't help but smirk playfully, giving Nolan a wink and flicking him on the nose just beacuse. The smile hwever falterd a bit as his friend aske dhim about his day, and he did was give a tired sigh and go back to cuddle the other. "Yeah... it was..."
Hiro gave the two another look, at first almost looking at them a bit suspicously before looking all unreadable again, and jumping back up onto his feet. "Do you kill peope too?" he asked Nolan as he walked past them and back towards the kitchen.

Nolan shook his head a bit, rubbing at his noce as he shot the tired red head a look. "Muat have been really shitty as well." He commented, raising an eyebrow down at him before back over at the suspicious looking boy. Brown eyes slightly wavered a bit at the killing question. The brunette shrugged his shoulders, answering in a blank tone, "I've came close to doing so many times." Most wereby intentional though.

This time, there wa sno response from the ginger. Instead, soft and quiet snoring emitted from the male still comfortably nestled ontop of the brunette. Hiro, meanwhile, who had returned to snoop around the kitchen had momentarly frozen up at Nolan's asnwers, staring blankly ahead of him as his brain went on overdrive with thoughts and ideas or whatever the hell always went through it. "But you haven't," he then concluded, strolling back towards the couch where the two older were, leaning over it and pokingReno on the head. "What stopped you?"

Nolan quirked an eyebrow as there was no response from the red head before rolling his eyes at the sound of snoring. Oh yes, sleep...Something he was freaking doing before the brat picked the lock and snuck in. After a short moment of silence, the brat commented something about he hadn't killed anyone then asking what stopped the brunette from doing such. "My temper has a control over my powers...besides I don't want to intentionally kill someone. I don't do what he does." Nolan commented out as he flicked the sleeping red head in the forehead.

Hiro eyes focused back on Nolan, his expression pretty much unreadable but still with a hint of wonder in them as he fixed the older with a curious gaze. "You should try and mediate," he suggested, plopping a lollipop into his mouth. After his little quick examination in the redhead's kitchen, he knew where to find a little bit of everything. "It's a good enough start for you to get some control over your emotions, to start with," he went on casually, glancing back down at the ginger when he didn't react to Nolan flicking him on the head. He was completely out cold.
Something in the boy's expression fell then at the brunette's words. "Have you ever seen him kill?" he asked, sounding calm and unbotherd, but with a small hint of wary this time as he stared down at the redhead. "...he didn't evenk blink when he killed of that guy, or give him a second glanze afterwards. As if he hadn't just taken someone life." Hiro went on, a bit more quietly. "Doesn't that scare you? That he kills so easily, without hesitation or regret."
His brown eyes focused bakc on Nolan this time. "Or are you capable of doing the same?"

"Ya dont think Ive tried to keep my temper under control? Bullshit fucks it up all the time." Nolan countered the younger male, a bit surprised that the kid found a lollipop. Where the fuck did he find those? He tilted his head a bit at the question, not seeming to be affected much by it. The brunette just shrugged his shoulders yet nodded his head a bit. "I've fought along side him and seem him do such." Nolan answered, tugging a bit at a light strand of the male's hair to see that he was really out cold. He shook his head this time, giving the young boy a blank expression. "So? And no, not really. If it really did terrify me, I wouldnt be living here."
He sighed softly, rubbing the bridge of his nose before going quiet. "Yes. I capable. If I'm harmed or my friends are harmed, then I'll do what I can."

"Well that's beacuse you let the bullshit get to you all the time," Hiro smartly retorted back with, without missing a beat. He titled his head a bit to the side, another look of wonder crossing over his expression. "So basically, neither of you really sees life as something of value," he concluded, returing the flat look Nolan had given him. "That's the impresion you're giving, at least," he shrugged, more to himself than Nolan and walked around the couch and slumped back down to his little spot on the floor. "Are you really ok with what the ginger does for a living?" he asked with mild curisorty and a bit mroe waryness than before. "You just seem way too... indifferent to all of this."

"Don't get cocky, you little shit." Nolan quickly hissed at the boy, shooting a glare as well. "He saved your ass, so dont forget that." He cpunteredvthe males assumption in an annoyed, daring the brat to continue on. He sighed a bit at the males question, hearing the waryness in his tone. Ironic, wasnt it? The ginger despised his job, but Nolan didnt care that much about the red head's job.
"Pretty much...He ainy heartless." He simply remarked, staring at the boy on the floor with a black expression."He saved my ass, even though I didnt want to be saved..." he murmured under his breath, as memories of the orphanage fire appeared in his mind.

Hiro tensed up for a few seconds when Nolan suddenly hissed ay him, narrowing his eyes as if expecting for the male to lach out at him any second. He quickly relaxed however, fixing the brunette with a hard look. Guess he had unconsciously expected to be ingored for a moment there... "How could I forget that," he mutterd back, glancing down at his lap. To be honest, he was still so unsure wether he ws thankful or not to have ha dhis life spared. His full attnetion was soon back on Nolan this time looking a little bit taken aback by his words. "You don't strike me as someoen who needs rescuing," he stated. "Or to be suicidal," he aded as an after thought. "...are you mad at him for saving you?"

Was the kid seriously trying to piss him off on purpose? The brunette eyed the smaller male, tilting his head to the side at him. Then smirked a bit to see that he had made the boy tense up from his earlier reactions. His smirk quickly then faltered as the younger male continue to ask questions of him. "I don't need rescuing. Nor was I suicidal." he simply countered, shaking his head at the male's questions. "No. I just thought he was a stupid ass going into a burning orphanage for me." He paused for a moment before adding, "I let my emotions go haywire and caused a fire. I didn't know what to do...You could say that I was just frozen and horrified at what I done." Nolan muttered, rubbing his forehead.

Hiro narrowed his eyes a bit again, but didn't look as caerful ro wary with the sitatuion like he had just a moment ago. But he wasn't judging either. "Yeah, that was pretty stupid of him. Good thing he has that super healing factor," he snorted, glacnign down at the still sleeping redhead for a moment in thought. Did Nolan still have that much trouble controlling his powers? He wanted to keep asking about his abilties, but got the feeling he'd just annoy the male even further.. and well, from afetr what he just learned, pissing him off was not the greatest idea.
Feeling a wave mixed both sadness and jealousy wash over him, he turned his head awy from them both, straign down at his hands again with a distant look. "At least you're not alone," he said. "You had someone there with you, so you wouldn't have to face it on your own..."

Nolan shrugged his shoulders as well as he glanced down at the deep sleeping red head, tilting his head down at the male. Damn, he was really knocked out. Oh great...this guy better not have a tight grip on him. Nolan didn't want to sit on the couch forever. Brown eyes then glanced back up at the boy, catching notice of Hiro turning his head with a mixture of sadness and something else? "Yes, I wasn't alone if this idiot right here hadn't hidden in the orphanage that day." he chuckled softly to himself, tugging at the male's hair. "And what's your story kid?"
