Room C-001: I do care [Remi&Tadashi]

Reno sighed deeply as he strolled down the hallways of the dormitories, already mentally preparing himself from what he knew would an exhausting evening. He should've just run after the pup the moment he stormed out of the room, and punched Flynn in the face or something for good measure. He'd figured that Tadashi just needed some space, and therefor let the guy run off for the moment. He'd honestly thought he'd come back after a while, but then after two days with no sign of the pup whatsoever, Reno just couldn't sit around anymore and wait like a good dog for it's master to return (that was more Dashi's thing right?) and so gotten off his ass and headed for the palce he was msot certain the puppy would be hiding in. In his best friend's room, of course. Meaning; with Remi. The one person responsible for making Reno feel like god damn teenager again obsessed with his first crush. He seriously had intended to follow her last wish from their last encounter, to never fucking speak to each other again. He would've gladly done so, seeing as it would spare him more heartache. But he was concered about his pup, and while he was more than just sure Remi would take good care of him, he just needed to see the guy himself, let him know it was ok and that he was still there if he needed him. And of course, the redhead would tell him to get his ass back to their room and deal with Flynn, before the cockblocker does something stupid too. For both of their sakes, these two lovebirds seriously needed to talk things over, geez.

Once he reached the door, Reno just let out another sigh, half hoping Remi wouldn't be there right now.... while the other part really wanted to see her again. Badly. Unless she was with Spikey. Urgh. Though he doubted that, not with the pup there at least. She'd have her hands full with him as it is. "Just get this over with cabrón," he mutters to himself and knocks on the door, calmly but still firm, his expression unreadable as ever.

Remi sighed heavily. Tadashi was worrying her even more by the second. She of a people understood why it was so hard to accept a crush not really reciprocating feelings, and she definitely wasn’t one to talk since she and Reno had ended so awfully. At the knock of the door she was definitely surprised. Who could possibly be at the door? If it was Flynn she wasn't sure she was going to be able to keep herself contains. But when she opened it to Reno, well, she just didn’t know what to do. She was shocked but she was angry. And she definitely didn't know what to say to him. If she said anything it wasn’t going to be anything pleasant, and she definitely wasn’t going to risk saying it. But she also was really happy to see him and for that she had no answer. Remi knew he'd come for Tadashi and whether or not she wanted to let him to talk to him or not wasn’t exactly her place. Even if it was a no. But Tadashi had spent two days there, and she only had another day until her ankle was supposed to be better, then she would probably have to go training and who would keep watch over Tadashi then? So Remi just kept her mouth shut, watching him.

Tadashi had been hiding in Remi's room now for two days and... well, if she was gonna kick him out, he'd probably just go to sleep in the lab of his division: it was so big he was sure he could snick some pillows in with nobody noticing... But he had no intention whatsoever to go back to their room. To Tadashi, running away from a problem was a solution, and usually he considered that a good if not great solution. Running away now from this was just the most obvious solution for him, since it was all so new, uncertain and weird... Beside, he felt comfy with Remi. He borrowed her pc and tinkered with it a bit, managing to turn it into quite a great machine with which he managed to play many steam games, thing that he did almost all the time to distract himself. He missed his consoles, but he just didn't want to go to his room to take them, too risky... he was playing on Remi's pc as always when he heard a knock on the door: he let Remi go to open, but since he was sitting on the sofa with the pc he was both visible from the doorstep and could easily see who that was. And when he was who that was he felt really, really guilty... cause he knew that the two of them had fought so Reno was surely there for him... "Hey... Reno..." he greeted lowly the guy from where he was, waving, just hoping that the redhead wasn't upset...

And just like he had expected, the door opened only to reveal the girl he wasn't sure he was prepared to face quite yet. As their eyes met, he could still see the anger there behind her shocked expression, but instead of starting yell or deman for him to get the hell away from here, she did nothing but just look at him. So, staying quiet then, Reno could handle that.... He merely fixed her with a blank look at first, before glancing over her shoulder as heard the familiar voice of his roommate.
"Puppy, you're alive," he smiled then, as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened, and gently made his way past Remi to walk over to the couch. "I almost thought you'd died of heart attack or something," he chuckled softly, sitting down next to the smaller male. Best to start this of slowly, or else he wanted every light in this room to burst too. "So, how ya holding up?"

Remi almost wanted to shush Tadashi and pretend like her wasn't there so she had a reason to tell Reno to leave. But he'd already invited himself in and sat down so there goes that. Remi sighed before closing the door. Of all the people Tadashi could be close to! Remi remained standing, crossing her arms. Reno hadn't done anything to Tadashi but she automatically felt like blaming it on him. Remi wanted to say something but she was unsure of what would come out. Maybe Reno could convince Tadashi back to their room. All he'd done was play videogames on her computer after all. She shouldn't stay standing though either. "He just..." Remi began, looking at Reno before looking to Tadashi. "Plays videogames." Tadashi played videogames all of the time, so that seemed normal for him. But he hadn't seen the outside since he came, and as much as Remi tried to coax and bribe him out of her room just for a few minutes, Tadashi refused to go anywhere. She was starting to grow scared.

Ok so... Reno at least didn't seem upset... even though even a socially retarded like him could feel the tension between he and Remi... he felt sorry for that, and guilty... he could do nothing to fix their relationship, but it was his fault now if those two had to meet each others... As Reno sat down next to him, jokingly asking him how he was doing, he gave him a weak smile, but Remi was quicker than him and gave Reno an answer, making Dashi blush a bit in embarrassment. He looked quite tired, he had barely slept at all since the 'accident' with Flynn, and he had played videogames in an odd amount even for his standards, but he really didn't want to address the problem. Especially since Reno had already shown how direct he was... they would have surely ended up talking about what happened and... no, no, no, he couldn't handle that, he didn't want to! "I-I'm ok..." he replied weakly, turning around and staring once again at the screen in front of him, un-pausing and recovering his Mortal Kombat match... For once, he didn't even care about being rude (after 2 days were he had barely slept an hour in total it was hard to care anyway), he just needed to keep his mind fully occupied with something else than reality...

The smile Reno had falter a bit as Remi spoke up, but kept his gaze locked on Tadashi. So much for nto talking to each other, he thought dryly, but pushed that little issue quickly aside. He was here for the pup afterall, and Remi cared just as so much about him. Their drama was the least of ther problems right now. And the fact that Tadashi has, unsurprisingly, done nothing but play video games and not bothered to step outside of this room, just made this whole thing unnecessarily worse than it has to be.
"Quit the bullshit," Reno told him bluntly, letting out tired sigh as he leaned further back against the couch, his expression clearly saying that he was in no mood for more lies and pathetic excuses. As fragile as he knew Tadashi could be, he ahd to wake up and man up someday. He'd never learn to grow if everyone kept hiding him from things that amd him uncomfortable. "You've had your time playing hide and seek with your problems, but it's high time you remove that tail between your legs and face them," he said firmly. "Especially since it's not only about you anymore. Didn't it even occur to you how this would affect Flynn?"
Tadashi might end up despising him for this now, but hopefully the guy would understand him later on, when all of thsi wa shopefully over.

Remi frowned, taking a step forward to scold Reno for speaking to Tadashi so forcefully; but then it dawned on her that that may be a contribution to Tadashi's problem. Maybe she babied him too much. But she didn't know how to not baby him, so she guessed it was good that Reno would do it. Did he have to swear at him? But she didn't want Tadashi to break into tears. "Just talk to him," She added hastily. "You don't have to leave but you shouldn't hole yourself up here. It's really not healthy." Flynn's feelings didn't really concern Remi, but she guessed maybe it should concern Tadashi.

As Reno started scolding him so bluntly he jerked so hard that he almost dropped Remi's pc from midair where it was. He turned toward Reno to face him, wide wary eyes staring at him with a scared expression: where was this leading exactly? He didn't want to leave the room, he didn't want to go back... he didn't want to see Flynn again! Possibly ever again! Yeah... yeah, that sounded ok... he would... get over it... somehow... at some point... Just... he couldn't do this now!
And then, when Reno continued to talk, he lowered his glance, biting his lower lip, his eyes watering already "I-I d-didn't mean t-to do t-that..." he whined guiltily, passing both his hand through his hair, since his cap was with the rest on his clothes and he was still wearing Cloud's clothes. He didn't even know how much Reno knew of what had happened, but he didn't even stop thinking about that: he had tried to avoid thinking about what had happened for the past 2 days, and now... that he was being forced to face it... he felt like he was going to be sick, or have a panic attack, or possibly both... He was just so terribly scared of what Flynn would think now, so scared if he had angered him...

He had kind of expected for the girl to start scolding him for being so harsh and blunt to the shyer male, but was certainly glad when she didn't. Although, maybe she would depending on how much he would feel the need to continue. It's not that he enjoyed being this straight forward with his roommate, but if someone had to take the role of the bad guy to give him that much needed push, well, it certainly wouldn't be the first time for the redhead.
"I know you didn't mean to, but you did," he said back, still in a firm manner but with a softer edge to it. Everyone just needed to stop baby him. "You should give Flynn a chance before deciding yourself what his reactions or thoughts are..."

Remi definitely agreed that Tadashi did need a bit of assertiveness, but he was already starting to cry! He could've at least said it a little softer. "You don't need to be that hard on him." Remi said. "He's been suffering here just as badly as he has. Probably worse! And Flynn's probably left the room at least once. Tadashi only gets up to use the restroom! And he's already starting to cry!" Tadashi looked even more uneasy now than he has the past two days! But she wasn't just scolding Reno for Tadashi, she was probably doing it because she needed a reason to yell at him. And as she did it, she felt more anger at him bubbling up inside of her. "You should've just brought Flynn here."

Give him a chance... but what after that? Even if he found out Flynn liked him too, what after that? What was he supposed to do? Could he even handle such a situation? Probably not... He didn't like all of this... he didn't like feeling this way, wondering about those things... he was so much happier when they just weren't an option... And now Reno was angry at him, (at least, that was how Tadashi read it, cause if Reno was using such a tone it must mean he was mad...) and Remi was getting angry too... like his problem wasn't enough, he was also the cause for their meeting now, after they had decided never to speak again... As Remi mentioned how he was already starting to cry, only then he noticed the two tears that had already fallen from his eyes and quickly dried them with his sleeve, turning around so to cover a bit his face, just to turn around once again with an horrified expression at Remi's suggestion: why was she suggesting such a thing? Bringing Flynn there? Why? What he was trying to do was stay way from Flynn... that felt almost like backstabbing!

And there she went, just as Reno had been expecting her to do eventually. Still, it had been her wish to not to speak with him again, and so he therefore didn't have to bother to reply back. If he did, he'd most certainly only spit out something just as harsh from their last meeting, or even worse. The last thing he wanted was for another repeat of their last encounter... One more word from Remi, and he probably would hiss something cruel back...
He frowned a bit when he saw the tears, but it was far from enough to have him back down. The guy was fragile because he's never learned to deal with things that makes him uncomfortable. "You need to grow up puppy," he stated, and then pulled him into a hug, petting him on the back of his head softly. "You only end up making life harder for yourself if you never confront your fears, and along the way you'd hurt others close to you as well," he went on, voice much softer than before. Pulling back, he flicked the smaller on the nose, giving him a small smile. "So take responsibility and go patch thing sup wth Flynn. He's upset alright, but not for the reasons you might think."

Remi only grew more angry with Reno as he ignored her, completely, but she didn't bother to say anything else to him when he actually spoke softer to Tadashi. At least he listened, or maybe Tadashi crying was enough for him. Remi gave Tadashi nd apologetic look as he gave her a horrified expression. Just because she didn't say so didn't mean she didn't think that Tadashi should go see Flynn. She was really taken aback when he hugged Tadashi. Tadashi was okay with this? Exactly how close had they gotten anyway? Remi didn't know why but she felt jealous...and she wasn't sure of which of them or why for that matter. Is he going to take Tadashi now? She thought to herself. She didn't really want him to leave, but at the same time she knew if she kept Tadashi in her room forever he would never get better. The good news was that Flynn felt the same from the sound of it. That was a relief to hear. If he didn't return Tadashi's feelings she didn't know what Tadashi would do. He's been so unpredictable, and normally Remi can tell what Tadashi's going to do. Reno was right, Tadashi did need to grow up; but did he have to do it in one day? That just wasn't fair. Remi looked to Tadashi, hoping that he would agree to go for his own emotional well-being, and so she could get Reno out.

As Reno pulled him into a hug, Tadashi didn't make him beg and curled up closer to the guy, hiding his face on his chest, like seeking protection. It wasn't like he wanted to ignore what Reno was saying, but that was what he was used to do, that was instinct... beside, as much as everyone had babied him through his life, he quite had needed it... he had always been weaker than other kids, like the smaller puppy of a litter, so keen on panicking... and life hadn't been generous either in his first years, leaving scars that haunted him still nowadays... it was no wonder people had tried to protect him, and probably it wasn't a bad thing either: he might not have survived a tougher life. As Reno mentioned how he would end up hurting other people as well as himself, Tadashi felt even worse... "I-I don't want to hurt a-anybody..." he peeped lowly, still curled up next to Reno, until the other male pulled back and flicked him on the nose, making him close one eyes and grimace just a bit. As Reno mentione that Flynn was upset though, Dashi got suddenly slightly pale "W-why... is he u-upset?" he asked, stiffening in fear

Reno gave a shrugg at the other's question. "How should I know? I don't know the exact reason behind your lovebirds little quarrel, but he's obviously worried about ya," he stated in a matter of fact way, snatching off Tadashi's cap quickly to ruffle up his hair a bit. "Look, I know these things are hard for you and all, and while I might not understand on which level, it's better for everyone, especially you, if you comfront this problem," be repeated once more while putting the cap bakc onto his head. He cast a side-glance towards Remi, half expecting her to say something again but was ocne more met with silence on her part. Now he wasn't quite sure himself what he'd prefer... a quiet or a scolding Remi. Tough choice.
He was certain that Remi white dhim out of there as fats as possible, but he couldn't leave just yet. His intention wasn't to force Tadashi out fo his little depression, it had to eb his own choice. But giving him a hard and much needed push wasn't wrong.
"Remember what I said about breathing?" he chuckled softly at the frightend expression on the other. "Things are not as bad as you think they are puppy."

Remi didn't really have anything to say to Reno at this point. Since he finally calmed down his 'advice' she didn't have a reason to scold him, therefore, to talk to him. So she didn't. Even if she were going to she didn't know what to say. She wasn't good with the advice that Tadashi needed but it's obvious that Reno is. He was doing better with Tadashi than she had, and that made her quite jealous. Along with all of the displays of affection Reno was giving him. That was the part of Reno that Remi knew existed somewhere, maybe she just wasn't the right person to bring it out. Tadashi definitely needed him around to keep him calm and focused. She wanted to help but she wasn't exactly of use right now, so she just watched them with a reassuring expression to Tadashi.

Flynn was... worried? About him? Why? What... why? He really didn't understand these stuffs... And beside... Reno didn't know what that was all about then... Tadashi's grip on the guy's shirt tightened while he just kept listening to him... he had to confront all of this? Did he really? Maybe Reno was right... but then again, if he didn't know what that was about...
"I kissed him..." he breathed, so lowly that if Reno hadn't been so close surely he wouldn't have heard that, and as he said so he blushed terribly red 'til the tip of his ears, making the lights in the room flicker lightly, only hoping the redhead would have avoided teasing him at least for today.
So that was what happened: he kissed Flynn and then ran away: did he still have to go back and face the other guy? Was that still a good idea?

So, Tadashi clearly don't understand why Flynn was concerned, which all Reno could respond with was another sigh. This kid here... How much had his friends and family 'babied' him? Well, he could understand to some extent to why, having been through a traumatizing experience at a very young age and all. Tadashi had indeed needed shelter and protection growing up, of course Reno could see that. But he had also needed help overcoming it... and from what he's seen so far, he has not received it.

He blinked down at the younger after he quietly whispered out the reason behind his hiding these last two days. Oh. "You kissed him," Reno repeated, not sounding that surprised really. [a]Way to go puppy.[/i]
"Now you definitely need to go back and clear things up with Cockblocker," he chuckled, though still as serious as before. "But I'm proud now puppy, you took the first step!" he beamed, poking his chin.
Since Remi ahd gone off completely quiet again, Reno couldn't stop himself from turning his head towards her direction. "Nothing you want to add?" he asked out flatly. "No scolding or shit?"

Remi was almost thrown off of her feet as Tadashi seemed to whisper to Reno what happened. He really had an effect on him. Was he the reason why Tadashi hadn’t been telling her anything? Without even hesitating to rationalize that assumption, that’s what Remi went with. It was Reno's fault Tadashi had not been sharing well, anything with her! But judging from Rrno's reaction, he was convincing more outgoing behavior which was more than she could do besides say it. Had Tadashi just needed a male to tell him all of this stuff?
Remi's eyes flickered to Reno as he spoke. Something to add? Not really. He had done so well without her, she was just a spectator. She looked to Tadashi. Now she'd wished she hadn't said anything like she'd suggested. She wanted to ignore him now. "No," She replied just as curtly (if not more). "Nothing at all."

As Reno repeated what he just said, he grew, if possible, even more embarrassed: yes... yes he had kissed him... oh my god how could he have been so stupid??? And Reno now kept insisting he had to go to talk to Flynn... and he was proud of him? What was there to be proud of? He just wished he had never done such a thing... no matter how fast his heart had beaten during that kiss, or how soft and sweet Flynn's lips were... This whole thing was just killing him and, apparently, he was hurting Flynn too! He didn't want to go back, he really didn't want to go back... but as Reno turned toward Remi and the two of them started bickering in that way he quickly heard himself saying in a whisper "ok, we can go back..."
He really didn't want to, but he wanted even less to be the cause of a new fight between them! They were both doing nothing but worry for him... and he was thankful, really thankful Remi allowed him to stay for those two days. Maybe he did baby him, but so what? He needed her affection and protection, he really did, even though Reno now was helping him getting out of his shell, he still needed to know she was there for him, she would be there not to challenge him but to support him... not that she didn't challenge him, but she did it in such a softer way that he could easily bare.
Gulping, he stood up, shaking a bit because of the tension, and approached Remi, hugging her tight "Thanks Remi" he whispered to her, wishing actually he could just stay in that hug and not leave, but he didn't want to risk those two to start bickering again so he forced himself to break it just after a not too little while, ready, at least physically, to leave "I-I'll p-pass l-later f-for my c-clothes, ok?" he added with a smalls smile

If Reno was hurt or not by Remi's more than curt answear, it clealry didn't show. No hint of any hurt whatsoever on his face or demanor. He wasn't however, completley ok with it either. "Weird," he chuckled, no amusment in his voice. "You always have something to add." Guess keeping his mouth shut was much easier said than done.
He quickly turne dhis focus back onto Tadashi though, when he suddenly agreed on comming back to the room with the redhead. Well, this went much easier than he'd expected for sure. Although, Reno now suspected the yougner only wanted to avoid more risk of the other two fighting. Guilt trips sure is a common thign for me, he thought with a small sigh.
Watching his roommate push himslef up from the couch and hug Remi, Reno only glanced away, waiting paitnetly for the two. He had already kinda guessed who those oversized clothes belogned too, but had wisely jsut brushed those thoguths off. Once again, he was for the puppy, not to pick a fight with the girl he still held a soft spot for.
"It's not the end of the world puppy. Feel free to crawl back here after you've talked to Flynn," he sighed, standing up as well.

Remi wasn’t surprised when Reno kept his face the exact same as it had been. He was good at concealing his emotions it seemed like, or not feeling anything at all which Remi suspected the second one. She resisted the urge to frown for Tadashi's sake, she was sure he'd never seen her frown before because she typically didn’t. She instead gave Reno a crude smile, "Isn’t it?" She said. "But I tend to ramble when I first meet people." In this case, her rambling wouldn’t be the kind she'd like to witness herself; he'd already made her behave uncharacteristically, she didn’t want to again in front of Tadashi.
Remi looked to her friend as he approached her and returned his hug tightly, hiding her face in his shoulder. "It'll be okay, Tadashi." She said to him. Remi nodded when Tadashi released her too soon for her comfort at least. Remi nodded, "Oh, the clothes. Right. I'll wash them first, okay?" She told him. Remi ignored Reno, at first. "You can come back but you can’t eat any more sweets." That would hopefully help him stay in his room. Remi glanced at Reno. "You shouldn’t though." Adding that was probably uncalled for, but Remi really did not need him making her second guess her relationship or shaking up her emotions either. If it didn’t get better with Flynn Tadashi was bound to come back and she didn’t know how to cheer him up. She could only hope that it did, Tadashi really deserved to have someone who liked him back and would take care of him. If it worked out she wouldn’t be able to contain her excitement.

Tadashi stiffened as Reno and Remi started bickering again: they were not openly fighting but he was afraid they would end up doing so if he didn't set them apart, that was actually the only thing that was driving him out of Remi's room. He just nodded to Remi when she mentioned how she would clean the clothes, not even caring on the spot about the sweets: it was just nice to know he could come back... beside, he knew she was bluffing, she would have complained but he reeeally doubted she would deny him sweets if he would get back in tears...
As Reno stood up as well, Dashi took his hand in a really childlike way, trying to drive him toward the door, but not only that... physical contact actually helped him a lot with stress and saying he was stressed now wasn't even starting to describe the situation!

Reno halted a few steps away from the two as they talked, glancing away elsewhere in the room while waiting for them to finish up. He had honeslty been expecting Tadashi to be much more agaisnt the ide of going back already, but was glad nontheless of course that he was comming along. Althouhg, it would of course be much better if his main reason was for himself, and not to avoid a fight between him and blonde here.
As said girl suddenly said something to him, Reno merely returned the look she had given him. Well wasn't that uncalled for, he thought, a small chuckle escaping him lips. "Don't worry, the only reason I botherd to show up here was beacuse of puppy. Thought yu already guessed that," he pointed out, taking a step towards them but hlted again when feeling Tadashi's hand sneak into his, already trying to dragg him out of the door.
"...I hope you're happy with him," he then said quietlyas he walked past Remi, no bite or mockery in his tone this time, just him beign geninue, even if it hurt for him to say those words.
