Room C-001: aftermath (TAG Remi)

Cloud was still holding Remi in his arms. He searched for her key-card in her pocked and unlocked the room for her, pulling her gently inside with him. He put the card back to where it had been and closed the door, before leading Remi into the bedroom and on her bed to make her sit down on it. He didn't say anything, not even now when he sat next to her. He just held her in his arms. If she wanted to speak, he would listen and if not he would just stay silent together with her. He caressed her head.

Remi followed Cloud to her room, watching him unlock the door. She wanted to say something, but she couldn't find any words at the moment. When they sat on the bed, she leaned against Cloud, closing her eyes at his touch. Cloud was so nice to her. He even stood up for her and said all of this nice things about her. "I'm sorry," She murmured, burying her face in his chest as she began to cry. "It was all my fault." She should've told Cloud it wasn't a good idea for them to stay there while Reno started getting warmed up; instead, she felt like she had to put on a show and stand up to him. How stupid of her. To think that she would be able to get under his skin.

"Hey...there's no need to be sorry. And it wasn't your fault at all, okay?", he said with a calm, warm voice. He put a hand under her chin and raised her head to look into her eyes. "You hear me? It was not your fault in any way.", he repeated in depth and bend forward to kiss some of the tears away which were coming out of her eyes like small waterfalls. He didn't want to see her crying but he knew it was healthy to just cry everything out. He pulled her face to his chest again and held it there.

He was right. She didn't need to be sorry. He was the one who said...Remi held onto Cloud tighter. She'd never been so angry before in her life. It wasn't fair. After all she'd tried to do...he didn't want that stuff from her, though. That's what he said. He'd said it before and she wasn't listening. Why did it matter if she wasn't listening anyway? Remi then pulled away from Cloud, standing. "What he said was true, wasn't it?" She accused. "Is that why you give me all of those compliments all of the time? So that I'll sleep with you all the time?"

When she stood up he looked up to her. He knew this must have come. He sighed and looked to the side. "Yes, it was true. I said that to him when we met at the beach, I don't wanna lie to you.", he said hesitating and looked back to her again. "You would sleep with me even if I wouldn't, wouldn't you?", he tried to joke, but he didn't even make it to smile properly at her. He sighed again. "No, seriously...", he took her hand, "I'm saying this to you all the time because it's true and because I love that smile on your face when I say those things. You know I'm always meaning what I say, don't you?" He war truly honest with her. Of course she thought like this after she heard about it. He didn't even put the puppy-look on, but just looked seriously at her, waiting for her to say something.

Remi felt betrayed. Not that it was Cloud's fault that he thought that way, but it didn't help his case at all. At Cloud's joke, she didn't waver the slightest bit. Maybe if Reno hadn't said what he had to her about being easy, she would have cracked a smile. "'Because it's true,'" She echoed. "No, I don't." Remi turned walking out of her bedroom to the couch of which she doesn't sit on. "After hearing it, I honestly don't know what I think about you! I thought you were different, and you're not!" She turned to look at him, wiping her eyes.

He sighed again and followed her out of the bedroom, stopping in the door case behind her to lean against it. "It's true Remi. I never ever lied to you and I won't do it in the future either.. Yes, it is true that all the girls go crazy when I say sweet words to them and yes, it is because I want to end up in bed with them.", he said and went around the couch to sit down next to her, though with space between them. He was sure she would slide away from him if he came any closer. "And no, maybe I'm not different and I'm pretty sure you deserve someone better than me. But I can tell you that you are different. You're not one of those girls who are not good for anything else than a single night.", he folded his hands to stop himself to reach for hers, "I mean....you...I..", he stopped and sighed, looking on the floor and ran his fingers through his hair. He couldn't remember when he had been out of words the last time. What could he say to stop thinking she would not be someone special?

Remi looked at Cloud, wiping her eyes again. He sounded sincere. She believed him, of course she did. She trusted Cloud, a lot. Remi sighed heavily, and put her elbows on her knees and her face in her hands. "I'm such an idiot." She muttered. "I let him get to me." People were always trying to get under her skin just to see her angry, but it never worked. So why did it work this time? But then again, no one had ever said anything like that to her before. "I'm sorry, Cloud."

He looked up at her first words. "Hey...", now he came closer and put an armaround her again. "Don't say that, Remi... it's not bad to let someone inside your heart. But not everyone can deal with it, you know? Sometimes you open yourself to someone and this person just sting a knife into you, but... You can't just shut everyone out because of the risk that this might happen...it's just...happening from time to time. But it's never a bad thing to let people into your heart. Remember that, sweet Remi.", he said and put a kiss on her head. Maybe he should listen to his advice himself from time to time. He never let someone into his heart except for his mother and brother. It was just to protect himself to get harmed. Feelings for someone were always a weakness in his eyes so he alway kep his distance. "And stop apologizing to me. You were totally right to ask me. I would be worried if you didn't, because that would mean I don't mean anything to you.", he explained with a small smile.

Remi raised her eyes to Cloud, listening to him. He was right. He's right a lot. She sighed, "This is not how I pictured today going...or any day for that matter. I don't even know what to say," She sniffled. "I wasn't myself. I was a completely different person. I don't even know who I was back there." In truth, she was ashamed by it. "I'm so embarrassed." She hid her face in Cloud again. At least she didn't have to worry about Cloud ever doing anything like that to her. But she couldn't shake the anger, even if she felt a bit better. Why was she so angry? She just didn't understand. Why was Reno so...? She didn't even know. She raised a shoulder. "I really like you, you mean a lot to me." And for some reason, she had to specify that to Reno.

He snortet slightly. "I bet so. But hey, don't worry about that. He deserved how you treated him and even more. I wished you had punched him really hard. I was about to do it myself almost..", he admitted and grinned. He held her tight again, butthing his chin on her head. He couldn't help but smile happily. "I really like you too, sweetheart.", he replied and squeezed her for a moment. And he really liked her way too much.

Remi melted in Cloud's arms, "I don't condone violence." She murmured. "I really wanted to, which is so unlike me." Remi groaned. "It's worse because...I almost did." She sighed heavily. He'd really brought out the worst in her. And then he called her a liar! She didn't lie. At least...she didn't mean to. She wasn't going to wait around forever for him to make up his mind. Remi smiled up at Cloud, "I'm glad."

Cloud raised his eyebrows and looked down on her. "Ehhh..don't get me wrong, but I don't think so. You don't have to push your feelings away, okay? So just let them out. Everything. If you're angry, punch something and if you feel like crying, jus do it, okay?", he said and touched her cheek, before he bend down to kiss her lips.

Remi giggled slightly at Cloud. "It's not pushing my feelings away. I just don't think it's effective. My sister did though," She laughed sadly. If she felt like crying, just cry. That was about right. She would. "Okay," She nodded, closing her eyes as Cloud leaned down and kissed her. Remi raised her hand to Cloud's cheek and kissed him back. Kissing him comforted her, so she leaned in closer.

"Your sister?", he asked because she had never told him she had a sister.
He smiled at her okay. He kissed her tenderly and slowly, wanting to give her the feeling that he really cared for her. He put a hand around her waist, letting the other rest on her cheek, stroking over it with his thumb. WHen she leaned in, he kissed her with his tounge, but still like before.

Remi blinked. "Ashley?" She'd forgotten she'd even said anything about her. Hadn't she told him about her already? No...that was Reno wasn't it? "She's dead." Remi lowered her eyes from Cloud's. "Two years ago." Cloud's kiss made Remi feel loved. It made her feel special; he always made her feel special. He'd never kissed her like that before. Remi pulled back and smiled at him. "You've never kissed me like that before."

"Oh... I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked..", he apologized and didn't ask further, because he didn't want her to get hurt even more.
He looked a little surprised. "I...didn't? What is different now?", he asked and her smile was the only think that kept him from thinking his kisses got worse.

Remi shook her head, "It's fine...you can ask if you want." She didn't mind telling him. She wasn't sad at the mention of her sister, mostly sad about the last time she'd talked about her. Remi laughed uncontrollably, throwing her head back. "I mean it literally!" She kept laughing, that was really funny.

"Okay.. well...do you want to tell me something about her?", he asked slowly. She really seemed like it was okay for her.
He raised his eyebrows. "What's so funny?", he asked, amlost pouting. He just didn't get her.

Remi took a deep breath. "Something about her..." She thought a moment. "She liked to fight." Remi started to laugh. "She was really great at drawing. She wanted to be an artist, and live in Washington because she said she loved the overcast and rain." Remi rested her head on Cloud's shoulder. Remi really loved her. "You're funny!" She grinned.

He looked curious at her and smiled when she started to tell him about her sister. "Oh, she could have come to England too, we have a lot of overcast and rain, too.", he said grinning. "Do you like that, too?" He hugged her with one arm and pet her head.
He rolled his eyes, but couldn't resist to smile as well. "I know but I don't get my own joke right now."

Remi smiled at Cloud but shook her head. "No. I don't like rainy weather." She admitted. "It depresses me. I like warm weather and the sun." Remi told him. "Rain is cold and clammy and humid. I like the sun because it's...welcoming. It makes me feel happy." Remi started to giggle. "That probably sounded so terribly cliché." She put her face in her hand. "It wasn't a joke. You're just funny."

He chuckled. "Yeah, it does, but there's nothing wrong with that. YOu'd probably think I like it cloudy, but I like it sunny more myself", he joked and laughed.
"Uh-huh....", he said, but didn't really believe her.

Remi tries to fight the giggle that bubbles up through her but she can't. And she thought what she'd said was bad. Remi huffed and lied down on Cloud's lap, looking up at him. She closed her eyes. "I'm telling the truth." She persisted. "Pinky swear-!" She couldn't even pinky swear without thinking about Reno now. It was all his fault. He'd broken most of them anyway, so that was a pointless gesture to him now. When she started to think of an alternative, she mentally scolded herself. After everything he'd said to her, she'd forgiven him so quickly. She wished she wasn't like that, but she knew better. Remi was never good with grudges. Remi wrapped her arms around Cloud's torso and buried her face in his lower abdomen.

He was happy about that and laughed together with her. "I believe you even without that swear", he said and played with her hair when she laid down on his lap. He could see her thoughts running back to the other male again and just pet her head when she pushed her face against his body. He sighed slightly. That would need planty of time to heal. He should distract her from that ginger. "Mhh, you better watch what you're doing down there", he said with a wink and pretended to get turned on by her move.
