room C-001 - That's all? | REMI&LEIKO

Renée was one of the last to leave the Auditorium, too many people were so anxious to leave the room forming such a big crowd that almost made impossible to move. She hated to walk into such mess, and plus that gave her the opportunity to observe the majority of the other... agents? For the most she hadn't seen a lot of agent material, but they could have said the same of her, something they would surely regret later. At last, she finally got up and reached one of the EVEs, not even five seconds and Renée had already managed to understand how it worked, at least the information part, wondering if she would ever be able to study one of them deeply.

Once she got all the information she needed, Renée walked towards her own room followed by the EVE, that was carrying her suitcases: three to be accurate, after all she decided to bring only the minimum required.
Entering in the room, Renée felt herself a bit disappointed by the room, she was surely used to something better than a living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. Twisting her nose as she kept watching around in the room, while the EVE placed the suitcases on a bed -she would have unpacked later by herself- Renée started to choose her own desk. She was opening all the drawers when someone entered into the room.

"Oh my gosh a co-ed dorm floor if that isn’t one of the most unheard of things—" Remi mumbles to herself as she opens the door to her room, tripping over her suitcase as she snatches it through the door. She raises her eyes to discover a girl already standing there. "Oh." She smiles nervously. "Hello." She closes the door and extends her hand. "Sorry I honestly can’t believe that they have a co-ed dorm I think it’s the most intriguing thing I’ve ever known. I mean, it just makes it that much easier to have sex, you know? You wouldn’t mind if brought someone bak here, would you?" She jokes before she pauses. "I’m sorry, I’m rambling. I do that when I first meet people by accident—I’m Remi, you are..?"

Renée immediately turned to the door as a girl entered in the room, easily one of her roommates. She examined the girl for a couple of seconds as she took her hand to shake: in all honestly Renée was't able to tell what the girl was or what she could do from a first impression, but she could tell that Remi was becoming quite annoying with all of her babbling!

"Nice..." Renée politely replied at Remi's joke -if it could even be considered a joke- She did wanted to start with the right feet with her roomies, but the girl wasn't making it an easy task.
"I am Renée." she smiled sightly as Remi introduced herself "Intelligence, resources and technical support department."

Remi nods. "Oh cool. My best friend is a part of that division. I’m biological control and manipulation myself. If you see him be nice to him. He’s really sweet." She pushes down the handle on her suitcase and sits in one of the chairs. "So tell me what you’re like. What do you like to do? Any hobbies?" Remi found it difficult to make conversation with the geniuses. They were too smart to seem to care about the minuscule things.

"What a coincidence!" Renée smiled politely at Remi, genuinely interested by her mysterious friend: if he was in her same division, some more information about his future 'teammate' would have been surely useful "If he is really that sweet, I will...don't worry. What is his name?" actually, how she would have treated him depended on many factors: his behavior in her regards, his behavior with technology and especially if he was 'gifted' or not, that could change their whole relationship in a couple of seconds!

Renée took a sit, following Remi's example. However she couldn't help but smirk at her question. She was scraping the bottom to find a good topic for their conversation, but what could she expect on their first meeting?
"Hobbies, you say?" she smiled smoothing her dress "Cars, races, shopping, hair care, military technology, cats... et sans doute quelque chose d'autre..." she smiled tangling her fingers and placing her head on her hands "You?"

Remi didn't actually think it was so coincidental, she actually has a theory there's more people with super intelligence than with psychic based powers, and if se was right, normally there were a bunch of people with those kinds. "Oh he really is. Like a puppy. Tadashi Benett." Remi is taken by surprise by all of the hobbies Renee has. She didn’t have that many side she was out of high school, and now that she thought about it, she only had like—two. "Oh, so you’re like the glamorous tomboy type?" Remi then stares at her when she seals french. "Sorry...I took Latin for five years." Including her year in college. Remi thinks a moment. "I like nature—anything biological then, anything living. Including all humans even of they don’t like me. I love ballet. And...that’s it." Wow she seemed boring in comparison to her roommate. "I’m also a vegan if you consider that a hobby."

"Tadashi Benett..." Renée repeated his name, mostly for herself, as a way to remember it when she would need. Still she didn't know how the guy would be, Remi was his best friend so her description didn't count, so she just needed to wait for the first day of training or maybe even before!

Renée raised an eyebrow as Remi described her as the 'glamorous tomboy type' "Yeah... sort of." she shrugged tilting her head. Of course, the term kinda suited her, she was glamorous and she was a tomboy; however that wasn't the kind of first impression she was hoping for...
"Actually it was French." Renée tilted her head, being taken a bit of surprise by her words. She didn't understand if Remi was joking or being serious, either way it was better to clarify it. "Sometimes I switch the languages. I apologize in advance for that." and she was being serious about it: switching between languages made her almost mad! Mostly because she didn't even notice when it happened!

"So... you're like the happy dancing hippie type?" Renée couldn't help but smirk, it could have sounded a bit rude but in all honestly she still hadn't been able to get Remi at all. "Jokes aside, I suppose that your passion are related mostly to your... gift?" she raised her look on Remi. She mentioned before her department and Renée was being a little curious to know what Remi could do.

"Oh it's fine." Remi waves a dismissive hand at her apology. "Hippie? Well, I don’t know I wouldn't say hippie. Not all hippies are vegetarians, barely anyone is a vegan in my experience." She then raises her eyebrows at the mention of her gift. "Oh. No. Well, I mean in a sense. I was like this before I even knew I had it. It sure does help. I’m a healer. And my hands the glow all pretty, like this." Remi sits straight and holds her hands up as if she was touching a wall and her hands glow a bright yellowish color before dimming. "When I’m doing it right they're white. Well, I suppose that’s not true. I think it has something to do with how powerfully I'm healing, I guess?"

Renée just nodded as Remi explained the whole hippie part, not that she really cared for the differences between vegan hippies and vegetarian hippies, but Remi had been quite satisfactory about the subject.

However when she finally mentioned her power, Renée's attention was now fully on Remi, trying to get everything about it. She observed -without even notice with her mouth sightly opened- Remi raising her hands and making them glow.
"Impressive..." she tilted her head, genuinely amazed by Remi's powers. Healing was really useful, in every occasion she may need it! Renée wondered how many people she saved with her powers. "Do you use it often?"

Remi raised her eyebrows, "Often?" Had she used it often? She had to say she couldn't really remember if she had or not. Maybe she had? "Well, I cured my grandmother of pneumonia and I heal any injuries I get from ballet, which are usually a lot...broken bones and sprained ankles and torn muscles. Sometimes my other fellow dancers too. So I suppose I do. What about you? Do you use yours often?"

Renée nodded as Remi explained the whole ways she used her power, quite a lot actually. However if Renée had to compare how much she used her talents, she had to admit that maybe they were on the same level.
"Yeah, I suppose I use it often too." Renée couldn't help but smirk, her skills were basically irreplaceable at her father's industry as she had worked on most of the projects and it was thanks to her that they opened their doors at the whole world. Yeah, she was the pivot of the whole shack!
"But in a more commercial way, I suppose... what I do always ends up on sale. Almost..." she tilted her head laying it on a hand. Of course, she worked in a big industry and the market never stopped, so she followed the simple rules of selling and buying. With the exception of a few of personal projects of hers.

Remi thought about what Renee could use her power for. Some sort of marketing, clearly. But then it dawned on Remi that she'd forgotten to ask Renee what her power was and that's why she couldn't figure it out. "Oh," Remi puts the heel of her hand to her forehead. "Duh! No wonder! What's your power, Renee? Sorry I sometimes space out and completely forget about really small things but then we got sidetracked and I guess I just..forgot!" She babbled.
