Room C-022: Hungover (TAG: Reno and Tadashi)

Tadashi followed Remi toward the kitchen, but as he saw her starting to cook he frowned: what was she doing? He could never remember Remi handling those ingredients... it felt so wrong... why was she doing it? He had some vegan ingredients in his room, he always bought some in case she wanted to cook or he wanted to do something nice for her... or, well, at least try... "Remi, stop!" He finally managed to take her hands away from the mixture after the first moment of shock: looking at her with a puzzled question, he was at loss. And then she spoke up... That was like a cold shower to him... no, no he hadn't stopped to check the date, he often forgot what day was the current one, he even managed to forget his own birthday more than once, but this... what a poor friend he had been... he didn't manage to say anything, even saying he was sorry didn't even start to cover how he felt...

Remi sighs heavily. Tadashi had clearly forgotten, she understood this from the way that he didn't say anything at all. "It's not your turn to remember," She joked, giving him a smile. "Don't feel bad about it. You were having so much fun I didn't want to bring you down, or anything." Of course she hadn't been walking around sullen, but it would've been the only thing on her mind and that would have ultimately had the same effect. She glanced at the bowls, "I'm not just going to waste the food now." She commented, secretly wanting to.

He was still sorry for forgetting such an important date, but again, no word he could think of was strong enough to express his feelings and beside, she knew him well, she got what he meant without need of words. As she commented she wouldn't waste the food he shrugged and replied "I am", simply taking the bowl and throwing the content away. He could have been a horrible friend with such an important matter such as yesterday's was, but he could at least spare this to her... "I think I have all the ingredients you use to make vegan pancakes in my room" he added, taking her hand and leading her once again to the room

Remi blinks in shock as Tadashi wastes the food by emptying either bowl. "Tadashi-!" She began but she was already being lead back to the room. She's really taken by surprise when Tadashi says he has ingredients for vegan pancakes in his room. Why would he have soy milk in his room? He bought that stuff for her? She wanted to tell him that it was fine but he'd already thrown it away and they were already at the room now. So she allows herself to be taken.

He didn't care if she just complained, she knew that deep down she was glad she didn't have to keep touching that kind of food. He lead her to his room and, once therem he opened the cabinet where he kept his food: next to the sweets and other stuffs she might not approve, there was soy milk, olive oil and other vegan stuffs he thought she could find useful. Back home he always kept something for her, he saw no reason why he didn't have to do the same here. "Well... pick what you need. I have other soy ice cream in the freezer too" he said with a sheepish smile

Remi almost can't believe that Tadashi actually did the same thing here that he did at home! She really wasn't expecting him to stock up this way, she wasn't even sure she had this much of a vegan selection in her own room. It almost made her feel like a bad vegan. Remi turned to Tadashi and gave him a tight hug. "Thanks Tadashi." Then she turns to the cabinet food, collecting the various things she'd need to substitute from the kitchen and grabbing the tofu for last. "Are you in the mood for scrambled tofu and pancakes?" Remi smiled at him as she walked past and back to the kitchen where she restarted breakfast.

Tadashi was glad Remi was happy about it and when she hugged him he hugged her back: well... at least he was being a nice friend now... even if he was missing when she most needed him... he really couldn't forgive himself for that, if he had checked better the day, maybe he would have avoided Remi to be so sick... and even his own nightmares! At her suggestion though he smiled, twisting his nose at the tofu idea: he didn't like tofu too much, even though he had bought it, he actually enjoyed it only when it was fried, not really the best of healthy food then, but he would try it if Remi would make it... "mmm... can we put icecream on the pancakes?" he asked in a childish manner

Remi sighs, rolling her eyes. "So the ice cream can melt all over the pancakes and become a huge milky or soy mess?" Remi arched a brow at Tadashi. "That's just silly." Remi glanced at Tadashi and gave him a smile. "But if you really wanna, I guess so. It can be like frozen whipped cream." She tells him, concluding with her whisking. "Go get it, then." She bumps him with her hip, pouring the pancake batter into the pan.

When Remi started talking, enucleating all the reasons why he wouldn't have taken the ice cream with the pancakes, he was already thinking she was going to say no, reason why he was already starting to do his puppy eyes to beg her to allow him, like he actually needed her permission to do so. But when she actually agreed to let him have the icecream he jumped up and down smiling, placing a kiss on her cheeks with a 'thank you thank you thank you!' before he would run to his room, quickly take the box of icecream and as quickly come back to the kitchen once again.

Remi can't resist giggling at Tadashi accepting his kiss gratefully and proceeding to cook. She set the first batch of pancakes on the pan before preparing the tofu and frying it in a pan as well. She flipped the pancakes, a good color before she sets them on a plate and starts to finish with the tofu, she grins at Tadashi who now has his ice cream. "Awe," She says to him. "It's almost ready, go get Reno," She tells Tadashi.

At Remi's instruction's Tadashi nodded, putting the icecream momentarily in the kitchen's freezer so it wouldn't melt and running back again toward the room. Once in front of the door of the bedroom he hesitated only a moment, still not really sure about how to handle this 'room sharing': he knocked lightly on the door but when he got no answer he peeped in the room "Uh? Reno? Remi says breakfast it's almost ready..."

Reno had surprsingly fallen asleep, even while having been so sure that he wouldn't. But alas, his nap ended up being anything but pleasent. Tadashi's careful and hesitating calls was far from being enough to wake him up. He was mumbling incoherent words, his face stuck in a deep frown while he shifted around worridely on the bed. The only words one would be able to catch being; 'No'', sorry,' '...kill you!'

Tadashi entered shyly in the room, trying to quietly check on Reno, but as soon as he noticed he was asleep he became bolder and walked toward him. If he had been sleeping a quiet, serene sleep he would have even let him sleep but this... he knew that expression. "Reno, Reno wake up. It's just a dream..." he tried to call first but, as the male didn't seem to answer to his voice, he also started shaking him, trying to wake him up

Something, someone was shaking him... calling out to him... Who? He knew that voice, he did.. but why did suddenly sound so... hateful? Somethign was tearing up his, leaving bloody trails down his body, hands wrapp aroud his throut, and in only a matter of seconds he found himself unable to breathe, no matter how much he tried to fight the threat off.
'You should never have been born!'

Suddenly Reno's eyes shot open, but before Tadashi could've reacted, the redhead grabbed him and violently threw the smaller male underneeth on the bed, and wrapped his trembling hands tightly around the younger's throat.
"Shut up, shut up, shut up!" He kept chatning out, his blue eyes incredible wide and feral beyond words as he stared down into Tadashi's face, but apparently it wasn't him the redhead was seeing. "I'll fucking kill you....!" he hissed out through clenched teeth, the hands around his roommate's throut tightening dangerously as he squeezed even harder.

He kept trying to shake Reno awake, since the nightmare he was obviously having was evidently oppressing him. In Reno's place, Tadashi would have wanted to be woken up!
Finally he actually managed to make Reno open his eyes, but Tadashi could notice immediately something was off... "Reno?" He tried to call him once again but, before he could do anything more, Reno took him and violently pushed him under himself, wrapping then his hands around his neck and starting tightening his grasp on him. Tadashi screamed but soon his screams had to stop because of the lack of air: he couldn't breath! His eyes were wide open in terror, he was gasping for air but Reno wasn't allowing him to breath and even though he was trying to push away the readhead's hand, the guy was far stronger than he was...

Remi had plated all of the food and returned the pans to the sink when she noticed that Tadashi had been gone kind of a long time. Of course Tadashi dilly dallied in everything that he did, but this was a long time even for him. Maybe she should go check to see what's taking them so long. When Remi opened the door to their room, no one was there. "Tadashi? Reno?" She heard an odd sound coming from their room, so she went to check it out. "Guys-?" Remi gasped as she saw Reno strangling Tadashi, her eyes wide in horror. "Tadashi!" She exclaimed, racing over to them. "Reno?! Stop!" She pulled at his hands but he was definitely stronger than her. What was wrong with him? She didn't know what to do! She pushed at Reno's torso with everything she had in an attempt to get him from on top of Tadashi.

Reno didn't even hear Remi as she enterd the room and yelled, and barely even noticed it either when she tried to pry his hands off the person below him. Instead, his gaze stayed locked on the person trapped udnerneeth him, squeezing even tighter , his expression a mix off dessperation, fear and bloodlust.
But then, just as asuddenly as when he had opened his eyes, he snapped out of it. As if burned, his hands quickly let go of their traget and held up, while blinking down at first with a confused look at Tadashi, but was soon enough replaced with one of sheer horror as realisation settled in. Breathing quickly, he cast a look at his side and did nothing but just stare at Remi, his mouth openign and closing a couple of times, before he hurridly got off the younger male and scrambled off of the bed.
Turning his back on the other two, he coverd his eyes with one hand, trying to breathe normally before he dared to try and utter a word. "I..." he trailed off, and without as much as another look, the redhead hurried out of the bedroom.

He saw Remi enter the room and try to help as well but everything seemed useless: it looked like Reno was in his own world, he wasn't even listening to her... Tears had started running from Tadashi's eyes for the lack of air, while his face was starting to turn from red to almost purple and his view was already starting to blur and dim.
And then, suddenly, Reno just stopped: Tadashi couldn't focus much on the redhead's reaction since by instinct he jumped to sat up, breathing greedily before he started coughing. He was shaking like a leaf in the wind, more than like a puppy now he looked like a wet kitten!

Remi's eyes are still wide when Reno finall released Tadashi and moved away. She raced to Tadashi's side, "Tadashi, are you all right?!" She exclaimed, touching his shoulder and holding his hand as he coughs. She pressed her lips together, knowing there's nothing she can really do but hope for him to catch his breath. "I'll get you some water." She ran past Reno to the fridge in their room and withdrew a bottle of water. She returned and offered it to Tadashi before looking to Reno. What was wrong with him? She approached him, touching her hand to his back. "Reno?"

Reno was leaning against the wall, right outside the bedroom and straing emptily down at the floor. While he had managed to slow down his breathing and stop his heart from trying beat out of his chest, his thoughts was still running wild inside his head. He didn't even take notice of Remi rushing past behind him and then back inside the bedroom. Only when he felt her hand against his back did he react.
Jerking around to face her, he seized her wrist and kept it still in midair. "Don't...!" he began, his eyes turning frenetic again for a couple of seconds. "...don't touch me...." he murmured, averting his eyes and realising his hold on her. Pushing himself away from the wall, he hesitated for a moment before brushing past her and heading back inside the bedroom.
With an unreadable expression, he sat down on the edge of his bed, far enough to still leave most of the bed's free space to Tadashi. But the redhead couldn't bring himself to look at the other male, and instead leaned forward until he could rest his elbows on his knees, and coverd his face with his hands, as if trying to hide from other two...
"...are you ok?"

Tadashi kept gasping for hair and coughing for a while, still shaking: he still couldn't believe what had just happened, it seemed unbelievable, but the pain in his neck was a good reminder that no, he hadn't imagined it. He wanted to ask Remi to stay with him, he didn't want water or anything, he wanted her to stay with him, but quickly she left the room to bring him a glass of water and then again to talk to Reno.
He drank the water anyway, since it was there, and he had to admit it was helpful with the cough that started calming down, but he was still shaking like a leaf. When Reno came back, he stared at him with his big puppy eyes: he wasn't really blaming him for what had just happened, he had seen what kind of nightmares he was having and he would be lying if he said he couldn't relate... and then... when... when he had tried to kill him... he just didn't look like himself.
At his question he nodded lightly with an affirmative "Mhm..." before asking in a low voice "And you?"

Remi froze when Reno took her wrist. She lowered her eyes at his command and said nothing when he walked past her. She turned and watched him ask Tadashi if he was okay. She returned to the room and sat in between them—really just next to Tadashi and took his hand in hers. "You sure?" She murmured. She felt stuck between a rock and a hard place. Reno clearly needed some reassurance too, but she felt more worried about Tadashi because he'd broken into tears. Besides, the best way Remi consoled was through touch, and Reno kept her away from him. Maybe Reno wasn’t used to positive punishment. All of the touch he knew was probably bad like Tadashi who had even similar at one point; but Tadashi craved touch now. Remi glances sideways at Reno. "Are you okay?" She asked coldly. The three of them were a mess.

Reno almost felt like laughing, liestning to three of them throwing the same question back and forth to each other. And once he realised the both of them had actually asked him if he was ok, he only let out a dry chuckle. "Obviously, I'm not," he almost spat out, but managed to sound calm and colleted. I've never fucking been 'alright'.
Letting his hands slide down from his face, he side-glanced back at the at the other two, who for some reason hadn't bolted out of there the moment Reno had snapped out of his little 'daze'. His eyes locked with Remi's for a moment, before he aveterd his gaze once again and stared blankly at the wall across from them. "I'm sorry," he mutterd out, sounding tired and spent, but the words were geniune and directed to both Remi and Tadashi.

Tadashi just nodded to Remi at her question and tried to smile to her, even if he was still shaking. As she took his hand, he squeezed hers a bit, without hurting her, just to take comfort. He was still breathing in and out quite heavily, mostly enjoying the fact he could breath once again. His cheeks were still wet, even if from his eyes tears had stopped falling. With his free hand, he tried to dry his face, while still holding Remi's hand in the other but then, at Reno's answer, he stared at him for a moment. Weirdly enough, he wasn't scared... well, he was, but not of Reno, just of what had just happened. He didn't feel like blaming Reno, he just related too much to having those kind of nightmares. The only difference was, in his own nightmares he was still four and unable to hurt anyone, not even to try to defend himself. That had to be different to Reno, but the feeling of horror had to be the same... Smiling lightly to Remi to reassure her that he was alright, he stood on his knees and closed the distance between him and Reno, gently hugging the other guy from behind. "It's ok... it doesn't matter..." he mumbled honestly to him

Remi glanced around for a Kleenex when Tadashi started wiping his face dry but she couldn't find one, and he'd done quite well on his own. Remi had been trembling on her own, very slightly, but there were still slight tremors. The thought of losing Tadashi petrified her, but also, made her a bit apprehensive of Reno. Remi looks to Tadashi when he moves to Reno and hugs him. Will Reno even allow it? Remi found herself growing saddened by the thought of not even being to keep his eye contact but Tadashi hugging him. When had they become so close anyway?
