It was an evening as another: Buddy and Leon had been working for Stan in the afternoon and now they were drinking with Reno and Nolan, joking around and pissing each others off as usual. They were in one of the usual bar they liked to go after work, they had become usual customers there and there was specifically one waitress that always served them, and it had become quite evident to everyone she had a crush on Leon. Still, she had never actually tried anything, she was just extra nice toward him.
It had been now almost 10 months since Leon had raped Buddy (if that could be properly called raping), and for those past 10 months the two of them had had sex on a regular basis, and quite often too: the two kept teasing and mocking each others and they still officially couldn't stand each others, but the truth was they got quite accustomed to one another and spending time together after work became the normal daily routine.
Still, officially there was nothing going on between them: they could consider each others maybe friends with benefits... and not even that, since they would have never referred as each others as friends! But while in time this seemed to stay unchanged for Leon... Buddy started to feel like on his account something was indeed changing and, as much as the subject irked and annoyed him... he was starting to develop feelings that went beyond the mere sex. But he didn't want to think about it: that was nothing but problem for sure!
As the waitress came by, throwing smiles and fluttering her eyelashes at Leon, Buddy took the beer he had ordered trying just to ignore the girl, but Nolan just couldn't contain himself from speak up "You can just give him your number, you know? He looks scary but he doesn't bite... often."
Buddy found himself holding his breath in that moment, faking the usual unbothered expression but actually anxious to see what Leon would say. It was, though, the girl who spoke up first
"Oh! I...I just though... you know, there was like something going on between you and... him..." she explained pointing at Buddy. Buddy just took a gulp of beer, pretending absolute disinterest but Leon's laughter in reply actually irked him. A lot. "I'm just his baby sitter" he replied to the girl with an amused grin.
The girl left him his number, but then she had to go back to work, leaving the group to their drinks. It was late though and they all had had a long day so, once they finished their last beers, they split up and left the place. Buddy, as usual, followed Leon toward his place, but he was keeping awfully silent, especially for his standards. Not that Leon wasn't going to complain about that!
"My baby sitter? Seriously? That's all you had to say?" He suddenly bursted while he and Leon where still walking toward home "What? Did that offende you?" Leon asked amused, only managing to irk Buddy more "Well, you're a great fuck-buddy, gnome, but I couldn't say that to the girl now could I?" he continued in the same tone, shrugging. Buddy didn't reply anything and kept, instead, that annoyed expression.
They kept walking in silence toward Leon's apartment, hurrying up a bit since it was starting to rain: Leon could have just reached his place in a heartbeat but he just stayed by Buddy's side, following his far slower pace, even if that meant getting a bit wet.
As they reached Leon's place, Leon took himself a new beer while Buddy just threw himself on the sofa, still that terribly pissed off expression on his face. Leon, though, didn't care at all about that and, as he got on the sofa next to him, he got closer, sneaking a hand in Buddy's pants, but Buddy immediately pushed him away
"I'm not in the mood"
but Leon was harder than that to convince
"As if I ever cared..."
he sneakered, getting closer once again. This time Buddy pushed him away in an even roughed way shouting against him "I fucking said no!"
"The hell is wrong with you?" Now Leon was starting to get pissed off himself: his gnome always had a bad temper, but that was no time for those stupid games.
"If you can't keep if in your pants just go jerk it off yourself" he muttered angrily, making some more distance between them.
Now Leon was fighting really hard not to lose his temper...
"If you didn't wanna do it, then why did you even came here?" he hissed in annoyance toward the ginger.
Buddy expression became, if possibly, even more annoyed and pissed off but for a split second, just for a brief moment, it seemed hurt.
"Right. I'm out of here."
He stated passive-aggressively, not waiting for Leon's answer and walking toward the door already.
"What the fuck are you doing? It's raining."
But Buddy didn't even turn toward Leon, he just opened the door and slammed it behind his back, walking away as quickly as he could.
Now Leon was pissed off. He wasn't what you would define a patient man and Buddy was definitely playing a dangerous game with him, and the gnome should have learnt his fucking lesson by now.
But... as much as Leon acted as he didn't care, and he actually didn't care in the most cases, he had noticed that something was off with his gnome, something was just nor right, so he was reeeally trying his best to be patient...
With an annoyed groan that sounded more like a roar he went after Buddy and he was by his time in no time and quite without effort.
Buddy didn't stop when he heard Leon reaching him; though he had to admit he was surprised that the blondie had decided to follow him, he was still to upset to care. Quietly he kept walking quickly, not caring about the rain, until Leon spoke first
"Will you just stop being a drama queen and come back?"
"You can find another 'fuck-buddy', I'm done."
He replied between his clenched teeth, speeding up a bit more... not like that would help much with Leon
"What, all of a sudden you don't like my cock anymore?"
Buddy could hear Leon's anger growing under his mocking sarcasm, but he just wasn't in the mood for any of that. That was too much shit for him, and he didn't want to deal with it...
"Go fuck yourself Leon"
After all, it was Leon he was talking about: what good would it be even to bring up the subject?
Leon's patient, though, was growing thinner and thinner with every passing minute and, at Buddy's answer, he just mentally counted to ten just to contain himself from crushing the gnome's head before he roughly pushed him toward the closest wall, pinning him there, picking his chin with two fingers and forcing the shorter man to look at him
"What the hell is wrong with you?"
He demanded in a really annoyed tone but Buddy only tried to wriggle away from his grip
"Let me go!"
"I should just believe that suddenly you don't like fucking anymore?"
"No, suddenly I just care too fucking much..."
That conversation just had no sense! Leon was at loss, the gnome couldn't be angrier and he was just losing it...
"What the hell does that even mean?"
"It means I think I fucking love you, asshole!"
As Buddy shout out those words in such an angry tone, the two males could do nothing but stare at each others in disbelief, Buddy not believing he had actually said it and Leon not believing he had actually just heard it.
For a long moment, they just did nothing beside staring, only after that moment Leon snickered amused, making Buddy blush lightly (and Buddy blushing wasn't something you see every day!) and look away, even if he still couldn't move his head, trapped as he was in leon's fingers.
And then Leon bent down and kissed him, and not even one of their usual rough kisses, this was actually quite a gentle, sweet kiss...
Buddy was quite starstruck and, again, that didn't happen often: Leon could feel his heart beating faster and honestly... that was kinda cute! That annoying little gnome could have such a sweet side...
"You know, you should say something now..." Buddy muttered grumpily between the kiss, hiding a shyness that really had a weird effect on him,
"Uh? What should I say? Something like like 'i fucking love you too'?" Leon asked mockingly, unable to hide his amusement
"That would be the thing..." Buddy's anger rising once again, only fueling though Leon's amusement
"Fine, I fucking love you too"
As they broke the kiss, Leon used his power to take the both of them back to his place: Buddy never liked that, it made him feel like he was taking away his dignity but... well, come on, he was going to fuck him until he screamed, did that really made any difference?
They kept on fucking until they were both spent, and when he was done Buddy was just barely able to move anymore.
They were both lying down, sleep starting to take over them both, when the idea hit him
"Were you jealous of the waitress? Is that what all that was about?"
Leon asked unable to hide the mockery in his voice
"Shut up." Was Buddy's laconic and angry reply that still didn't manage to hide the embarrassment.
Leon couldn't help himself but laugh, and Buddy fell asleep still hearing him chuckling amused.
The next day, when they were back in the bar and the waitress came by once again to bring them their drinks, much to Leon's surprise and Reno and Nolan's disgust Buddy turned toward Leon and, making sure the waitress were watching, he took his collar, pulled him closer and kissed him. Deeply and passionately.
After just the first moment of surprise, Leon went along with it, biting Buddy's lower lip before he broke the kiss.
"I'll make you pay later for this..."
Leon informed Buddy with a lustful yet amused look. Well... it was worth it.
