Room A-021: Heart Break Home Remedies (Tag: Alisa)

Alisa quickly put milk and honey into two cups and put them into the microwave for a little time. She waited and when it was finished, she took the two cups and went back to her room. Somehow she managed to open the door with both hands full and entered their livingroom again. "Alriiight, here you go, Aqua.", she said smiling and offered her one of the cups, sitting down besides her after she took it from her. "It's still hot, so don't burn yourself."

"Thank you." Aqua said with the utmost of sincerity. She cupped the little mug in her hands, relishing in the warmth of the ceramic. She sighed to herself. She felt terrible for making Alisa do all of this for her. "Has... Anything like this happened to you?" Aqua asked quietly.

"No need to thank me." Alisa leant back, her feet on the couch too and looked at her. "Hm, no... I didn't meet many guys in my life, so... I'm unexperienced in every way..!", she admitted and lifted her shoulders. "I can only tell you what my mother told me about love..."

"What did she say?" Aqua asked quietly. She didn't have advice from her parents over anything. She never had anyone who took an interest in her life to guide her through things she didn't know. She also never had a figure like that in her life. She frowned since both of them were inexperienced in relationships.

"Well, she said a lot of things. In your situation she'd probably said something like don't cry for love, there a a bunch of fished in the sea or similar.. and that you will get over it when time passes by...", she said. Alisa didn't think it was helpul what she just said, but well, she was trying. She was looking at Aqua apologizing that she couldn't tell her more or better things.

"Thanks Alisa," Aqua said quietly. It would take time to get over this. It wasn't really love. She had liked Cloud, yes, but it hadn't been love. It had been the beginning of a crush, nipped so quickly in the bud that it was physically painful. Her distress was more over her own foolishness for beginning to fall for a boy who was obviously no good for her. From now on, if she did start to like a guy, she had to get a peek at his memories first, make sure they were nothing like Cloud. It seemed dishonest but she couldn't open herself up to that kind of hurt again. "Your mom must have been wonderful..."

"Oh, was that helpful? I didn't know if it was", she admitted chuckling, but glad it was at least a little bit of help. "I'm sure you will get over it soon.", she added smiling.
"My mom? Well, she really is a wonderful person, I love her very much. Her and my father. They are really strict, but I know they love me and that's the most important thing, right?", she said. Of course it hadn't been easy all of the time, especially because she was the only girl in her family with those powers and it had created much romor back then.

"Maybe not helpful but much needed," Aqua said. She offered a weak smile. She did need to hear it, despite how it didn't take away the sting immediately. She did like hearing how much Alisa loved her family. "You let them know that though? That you care about them?" If Aqua had been in Alisa's place, she would have said it every day.

Alisa was more than happy to see that almost-smile. "Okay, great! I'm glad it was. Well, of course I do. Though it's nothing you have to tell everytime, it's just natural. I mean, for most of the families it  is,  right?", she said, not really expecting an answer. She knew Aqua didn't have parents and she didn't want to hurt her. She drank a sip of the milk. "Mmmh, you can drink it now, it's not too hot anymore."

Aqua decided not to comment on the part about families. Might not be the safest topic to traverse at the moment. So she took a sip of the warm milk. It was much better than she had expected. So she pulled the blanket a little closer to herself as she held the cup. "Thank you, Alisa," she said softly. She still felt guilty for bringing Alisa down with her dour mood, particularly since it seemed like Alisa was having such a good time at the facility.

ALisa smiled bright and big at her. "You're very welcome. I can even make us another one later if you want", she meant and got herself a blanket, too. "Hmmhhh.... feels good,  doesn't it?", she asked and took a small sip. Ohhh, it was just delicious! Alisa had put much more honey into her own cup, because she liked it reaaally sweet. "You wanna watch TV? Or talk a little more?"

Aqua curled up so Alisa had room to get comfortable on the couch. She always did prefer to sit curled up anyways so she leaned against the arm of the couch. "Let's just watch some TV." Aqua said. She didn't think she had the heart or energy left to continue going into her feelings. It was something she avoided doing if at all possible. She took a sip of the milk. It was warming and it eased her nerves.

"Alright!", Alisa said with a happy smile and reached for the control to turn the TV on. "What about this game show?", she asked and smiled when Aqua nodded. It would distract her from her heartache the best in Alisa's opinion. No lovemovie, no comedy and no horror or action. If she would have heartache, that would help herself in a good way! She sat back and just enjoyed the program and the warm milk. That was how the two girls kept on this evening, not much talking  except for suggestions about the answers to the show's question, ALisa even went to make them another milk, until both decided to go to sleep.

"Yeah, this is fine," Aqua said. She didn't typically tend to watch tv in general but she was starting to grow comfortable for the first time in a few days. She couldn't put to words what it meant to her that Alisa had decided to sit with her and hear her out. While the date might not have gone well, at least she knew she had someone she could count on. Alisa brought a second glass of milk but Aqua hadn't even got half way through it before she passed out on the couch.
