Room A-021: Heart Break Home Remedies (Tag: Alisa)

Aqua slowly moved across the dorm room. After her incident with Cloud, she left only when she absolutely had to, barely slept and hardly ate. The blue rose she had picked when she met Cloud had been tossed in the trash. She made her way back to the couch and curled up under her blanket. She knew she should not let this impact her as much as she did, but she was devastated. The first person she thought liked, the fire person she even kissed, turned out to just be a fake. It made her wonder who she could really trust on the island.

Alisa came into the room with a bag, in it the new dress she had bought. She smiled when she saw that Aqua was in the livingroom. "Hey, Aqua! I'm back..obviously.", she said and chuckled slightly. When Aqua turned to her, her smile vanished. Her eyes were red as if she had been crying. "Hey.... is everything alright..? Did something happen?", she asked worried and put the bad aside to walk over to her. She seemed to be upset and Alisa wondered why.

"Alisa?" Aqua asked in surprise. She had hoped her roommate wouldn't see her like this. So she quickly shook her head. "I'm fine! I'm fine! Just a bit under the weather!" She said, lying through her teeth. "Guess I spent too much time in the pool yesterday and got sick." She wondered if Alisa would buy that excuse or if she would call Aqua's bluff.

Her worried look didn't go away at her lame excuse. She was standing on front of her now and touched her arm gently. "What did really happen, Aqua? You can tell me, it's alright.", she said with a warm voice and smiled depressant at her.

"It's nothing. I'm just being stupid." Aqua replied, half tempted to shrug hand off of her. She didn't want to touch anything that belonged to Alisa. Not set off her powers again and make her really doubt who she could trust in this facility. She attempted a smile though it felt more like a grimace. She hoped it passed as acceptable. "Did you have a good day? You went to the mall right?"

"Yes I did, but that's not important right now, I can tell you later about it.... Please tell me why you have been crying..and don't lie to me!", she demanded and pulled Aqua with her to the couch, sitting down on it and making Aqua do the same. "I'm really worried, so please tell me, maybe I can help you?", she suggested and tilted her head a little.

"I... Put my trust in the wrong person," Aqua admitted. She didn't want to directly call Cloud out on it. He wasn't entirely at fault. She had just started to like him a little too much and a little too fast. She was the one who misread the signs. She couldn't cry anymore over her mistakes. "I'll be okay. I promise you, Alisa."

"Oh.... I'm so sorry to hear that!", she said and looked sad at Aqua, before she hugged her tightly. "Can I do anything for you? I really want to..", she continued.

"It's not your fault. You didn't tell him to do any of that." Aqua said in baffled confusion as she was hugged. But it felt nice to be hugged like that so she returned the gesture. "Alisa, you really don't need to do that. Any of it!" she insisted. She was already taking so much of Alisa's time away.

"Him? Tell me who it was and I'll go and punch him for hurting you!!", she said and kept on hugging her. "I know, but I want to! You are my friend after all and I want to take good care of you. So if I can do anything for you, please tell me. Are you hungry? Thirsty? Do you want ice cream or anything? I could get it for you!", she went on talking and stroke over her back, giving her comfort.

"No! Alisa, please, leave him out of it." Aqua insisted. While she was angry with Cloud she didn't want to hurt him because of it. Or have anyone else take revenge on him. She also didn't want to be a burden on her roommate. It was a horrible way to start the year. "It's not like I was seeing him or anything!"

".....Okay, as you wish..... Do you want to talk about it? Maybe you feel better after you did..", she said and backed off a little to look in her face, an encouraging smile on her lips. "I would be happy if I could be helpful, even if it's just listening to you.", she added.

"I... I thought he liked me." Aqua murmured softly. "But he... Sees a lot of women." And sleeps with them, Aqua thought darkly. "I guess I thought wrong." She wrapped her arms around herself. Cloud said that he meant every word about how 'wonderful' she was but she certainly didn't feel like it. That's all there really was to it, aside from Aqua's down casted mood. She was stupid to think Cloud wanted her for anything more than sex.

"Oh..... that's always bad...I mean, not that I have already seen many guys, but still. You didn't deserve to be deluded like that..", she said with a pitiful look and hugged her again. "Just don't feel too bad about it.... he will get what he deserves someday. Meeting many women at the same time never goes well.", Alisa meant and stroke over her back again.

"I don't know what I was thinking!" Aqua protested. "A guy like him? There was no way he wasn't already seeing someone! I should have said no when he asked me out!" Normally she did think rationally. But a few smooth words from Cloud and a flirty wink later her rational thought had gone out the window. She had even let him open up her bikini top!

"Hey...hey.... don't be so rude to yourself. It's not your fault. I would probably have said yes myself if he is really that goodlooking. There is no way you could have known, Aqua.. I'm serious. SOmetimes you just... have been taken in for his charm or his look. There is nothing to be ashamed about.", he said and tried to console her with her words. Hopefully it would help her..

"But I was just so stupid!" Aqua cried, practically jumping up from the couch in her own rage at herself. "We went to the beach and he opened my top! That should have told me - warned me about him! Worst of all? I let him do it!" She had all but wanted to burn the bikini she wore, but was more reserved about her hatred to the suit and threw it out. She wouldn't be going to the pool or the beach any time soon. Or the gardens for that matter. "He didn't see anything but he put lotion on my back..."

She followed her roommate with her eyes when she stood up. "He .. opened your top?", she asked with wide eyes. He opened it just like that?? Not as a joke or something? How rude! When Aqua explained that the guy put lotion on her back, Alisa relaxed a little more. "Well... actually it's not that uncommon to open the bikini top when you put lotion on a girl's back. I might be wrong, but I think almost every guy would have done that.. otherwise it would be more difficult to reach every centimeter of your back..you know?", she explained slowly. Maybe Aqua was a little overreacting after all? But the guy really hurted her, so Alisa was on Aquas side for sure.

"I used my power, Alisa, I saw all of the other women!" Aqua protested. She saw everything in such vivid detail it made her shudder. Of course she saw other things too, his childhood, his awful step father, it made her bit her lip. But then she realized she just admitted her powers to Alisa. She all but froze, silently pleading Alisa not to comment on it.

"You saw them? Like...what he had been doing with them..? Thats- that's awful...", Alisa said and looked with wide eyes at her. Oh, she couldn't think of any worse way to find out about other women in the life of a guy you like. "Can you... do you think it will ttake a long time to forget about it..?" Alisa was really hoping that those memories of the guy wouldn't hurt Aqua for along time...

Aqua shook her head. She didn't know how long it would it take for her to forget. It was still so fresh in her mind. She was so used to helping people with what she would learn about them. This? This was so much different than anything she had ever experienced. "I don't know." Aqua said. "I don't know anymore."

Now Alisa stood up herself and hugged her roommate once again. "Schhh, it's okay. Maybe you should get some sleep? It's always exhausting to cry, I know that... I could make us a little milk with honey if you want?", she offered.

Aqua stood still this time, simply letting Alisa hug her. As nice as it sounded to have milk and honey, she really didn't want Alisa to have to do anything for her. She was her own capable being. Alisa had so many things to worry about. She was living her own, happy life and here Aqua brought in her own troubles. "I don't want to put you out," she protested weakly.

She let go of Aqua and giggled a little. "Don't worry, you don't, not in any way. I seriously want to. Just wait here for me, I'll be right back!", she promised with a smile and was already leaving the room get get both of them a glass of milk with honey in the kitchen.

Aqua sighed when Alisa left. She sat back down on the couch. She glowered down at the floor. She had always prided herself on being level headed and she lost it over a boy. She should be ashamed of herself. She wrapped her arms around herself. All of those things that Cloud had said rattled through her head and her own insecurities were twisting them and devaluing her self worth. "Maybe I should try and sleep this off?" She wondered.
