Somewhere peaceful [Buddy]

He stood there, listening at the boy and staring at him before he sighed and looked away: he still had no memory of the boy and yet... there was like a light pain in his chest... he wasn't sure if he wished to remember the kid or just forget all over again he had even just met him... Damn Island... Damn him for deciding to come, why did he even want to be an agent anyway?
"Don't worry, kiddo... they'll be fine. Believe it or not, apparently we were friends once..." he replied, sounding a bit more bitter than he meant to. Well... it wasn't their fault everything went down the hills... probably... still, he just wouldn't have now those problems if it wasn't for the two assholes! Once again, he moved to leave, giving his back to Hiro

Hiro gave Buddy a throtful look at first, as if trying to find any hint of him lying or something. But then, he smiled at the older, while it was saml it was geinue. "You were?" he laughed, somehow not having a hard time beliving this at all. "Wow, so me and Nolan weren't the only ones from Reno's past following him here," he snickerd, staring after Buddy for a couple of seconds. "Hey wait!" he called out then, running after the olde rocne again and tugging at his sleeve. Hiro almsot froze up for a couple of seconds, ahving the strangest sense of deja vu the moment he'd grabbed the other. As if he's done this on so many occastions before....
"Uh... Have we met too then?" he asked, looking a bit confused again. "Beacuse, i've the strangets feelign we know each other. And if you guys used to be friends... then..."
Then what? Why did it matter?

People from the ginger's past followed him? To Buddy it looked more like everyone from a past he couldn't remember had decided to follow him! And he didn't really appreciate that... but complaining did no good anyway, so...
He was once again walking away when, again, the kid tugged on his sleeve making him stop. That question... they had to share quite a deep bond if the kid managed to get such a feeling after he did such a good job on him... Gosh he was going to be sick! He was starting to run out of excuses on why he shouldn't open his own vault, he was starting to get it was going to be just a matter of time... but that didn't make his situation easier... if anything, it made it worse...
"Trust me kid, you don't wanna know the answer" he replied bitterly, before freeing himself once again from the boy's grip "Now let me go. We both have better ways to use our time.."
