Intelligent Mischief (TAG: Kristoff and Hiro)

The computer Jackson brought with him to the island was the same computer that had been bugged by FBI agents, and by law, he couldn't scrap it and get a new one. Well, now that he was a free man and working for the UN, he felt that was beyond the jurisdiction of the FBI, which he is; so he decided a trip to the electronics store since they have one to buy a new one. Well, he had to say that they had the absolute state of the art everything around here. So, he decided on a desktop with two screens for his room, and then a laptop and a spare laptop in case something unfortunate were to happen to it (which it often did). It was an occupational hazard, a simple habit to buy a backup. He was now standing in line with his things, mentally complaining to himself about the length of the line. Jackson balanced his debit card in between his fingers. "What if I just took down the entire stock market?" He grumbled out loud. "It would make my money completely worthless." That was a thought. "There should be safeguards for that kind of thing."

"There should, but they're very lousy at their job," a voice suddenly pointed out from behind Jackson, shortly followed by loud, slurping sound. Hiro wasn't there to buy anything, seeing as he already had what he needed when it came to electronics, that or he could always build something up himself if he ever needed it. But that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy all the things this store offered. Yet Another reason to like this place, it had everything.
He kept slurping on his big mug of milkshakes as he strolled passed the big line and went over to the phone section.

Jackson glanced over his shoulder, arching a brow in interest at the kid. Very rarely did most people agree with him, let alone share ideals with him. Of course there had been, but they were all in prison or still cyber-terrorizing. Oh how he missed the anarchy. Everything was orderly here. "Yeah..." He said, "Totally. I'm Jackson." The boy looked familiar. Had he seen him somewhere before?

A nother loud slurp was heard as Hiro glanced over his shoulder, his expression blank at the moment. "I know," he stated flatly. "We're in the same division after all," he stated matter of factly. "You're code expert, you were quite impressive actually," he went on casually before turning his attention back straight ahead of him.

Jackson frowned at Hiro's slurping. His hand nearly twitched to smack the cup from his hand but he resisted. Oh, they were in the same division. "Yep that's me. Thanks. What was yours again?" Jackson hadn't recalled seeing him do a demonstration...

Kristoff had just been browsing at the electronic store, checking out what they had. He overheard two of the guys from his division talking and he just couldn't help but listen. Force of habit from his investigation days. If he had to admit it, he was kinda interested at the idea.  "So tell me, how are you gonna take down the stock market if you can't even recognize someone from your own division?" He asked Jackson with a crooked smirk. He stayed where he was but just simply glanced up from the table he stood at.

Hiro slupred loudly again, givign Jackson a flat, unreadable look. "Hiro Hamada," he said simply, not really offended that the guy didn't know who he was. Afterall, he hadn't botherd doing a small presentation or so back then to show the rest.
He glanced up at at the other, much bigger male, when he had decided to comment on the topic as well, recalling exactly who this male was too. "Not everyone possess photographic perception like you do," he pointed out to Kristoff, and went back to slurping up his milkshake.

Jackson's eyes narrowed and slid over to the other male. "Who asked you?" He demanded, that was the first question. "And besides, it's not my fault I wasn't paying attention to everyone else, well, it is, and that's why it's not. He being a part of my division has everything to do with nothing." Who did he think he was anyway? Photographic perception? Who would even want that? Jackson mentally scoffed. He did, actually. Jackson's eyes dart to Hiro, "Were they out of spoons?" He asked him, "Because I think it's over with." Jackson gestured to Hiro's cup, secretly wanting to chuck it across the room.

"Well we aren't all supergeniuses either," he replied to Hiro, knowing that the two guys had super intellect in different fields. After Jackson replied to him, Kristoff shrugged as he raised his hands, a small smirk creeping onto his face at the guy's reaction. The guy was a clear read of some issues, needing to defend himself so strongly. He looked back down to what he was doing before and minded his own business. His shoulders tensed a little as he heard the slurping sound another time, even louder. It was driving him nuts.

Hiro didn't bother replying to etither of the two, just gave them both a smug look when it was obvious how annoying they currently found him and his slurping.

"Yummy," he sighed in contenment. "So gonna go and buy myself another cup," he said cheerfully as he them both another mivhecious look. But before that...
Turning to Kristoff, who he had to crane his nack backwards to be able to look in the eyes for, he tugged at his shirt. "That power of yours, you called it 'The science of deduction'. I'd like a demostration," he said bluntly. "Make a quick deduction about me and the spoon-lover here."

Jackson scoffed smugly, "Well that's unfortunate." He smirked at Kristoff. Jackson didn't consider himself as being a supergenius, but if that's what the wanted to call it...Jackson narrowed his eyes at Hiro. He could just pick him and throw him across the room like an ape. But Jackson wasn't really a physical person, more of a verbal one. Deduction? Jackson looked to Kristoff as well, "I'd like to hear this." He agreed with Hiro.

Kristoff glanced up with a raised eyebrow. "Hey I'm no show-pony or anything." He said as he crossed his arms. Glancing to Hiro, he furrowed his eyebrows. Something about him seemed... familiar. But he didn't know how or what. "Your thumbs, they have curves and indentations on them to show that you play videogames. A lot. And probably those violent ones too since that's what the kids play I guess. You're also probably the type to push people like they're your experiments.. like you are now.. you know you're smarter than them and you like to see how they respond psychologically and with their powers...so you must love it here, kiddo."
His eyes glanced over to Jackson and he narrowed them as he inspected him. "And you've got perfectionist, neat, compulsive written all over you. OCD? Which makes sense but is contradictory with the small stain on your shirt that you tried to hide there...you would probably of cleaned it up right away in a normal situation but you didn't so that means you were in a rush, maybe it's because of fear of being late to Callaghan's class...so the logical deduction is that you overslept this morning. Too much coding last night, pal?" He asked with a small snicker. Kristoff did a small bow in a very sarcastic way. "We good?" He asked dryly.

Hiro just stood there and paitnetly waited for Kristoff to start 'deducting', honestly just wanting to see how good he was with it, and not out of mockery. He was just curious, as always, that's all. And as he began doing his little trick, he litsend in thoroughly, even though his expression stayed pretty much blank during the whole speech. It wasn't until aftr he finished deducting Jackson as well, that a wide grin spread out across his face.
"So bascially, you're like Sherlock," he stated then, his brown eyes now almsot shinning in admiration up at Kristoff. He didn't take any offense, or feel ahsamed of what the male had just deducted about him. It was all true after all, which was exactly why Hiro was so impressed by Kristoff.

Jackson frowned, adjusting the way he was standing to hide the spot on his shirt. It was an off day for him! And he didn't like wearing dark shirts, something with him and the thought of Dracula, he was entirely sure. And his OCD was never that big of a deal, people just called him a neat freak and that was fine with him. Being in the profession that he used to, perfection was everything! "Last part s wrong." Jackson cleared his throat. "It wasn't exactly coding. I was trying memorize the sequences in an EVE." He smirks a bit shyly. "Kinda want my own..." He muttered mostly to himself. Sherlock wasn't that great anyway. Jackson thought to himself. "Either of you really think we could hack into the stock market unnoticed by the people here and in the stock trade?" Jackson requested mindlessly. He'd never thought of something like that before; the stock market is a worldwide trading center. People were connected everywhere.

Kristoff looked down to Hiro and chuckled a little. "Sherlock.. and then some," he said confidently with a smirk, noticing he was looking at him with a little bit of admiration. He glanced back to Jackson and shrugged nonchalantly when he said the coding wasn't exactly the same. Practically the same thing. He crossed his arms again. "You were serious about that? ...Well, if you wanted to do something like that then you'd need a strong team, some good connections, and maybe a big suitcase for when the headmasters find out and kick you out." He said pretty casually as he raised a hands up in a shrug. "Jokes aside, you'd need to have a very skilled group of nerds to even think about something like that."

Hiro beamed up at Kristoff, before nonchallantly responding to Jackson, without turning around to face him. "Of course it's possible, but also stupid," he stated, turning his attention elsehwere when he noticed an ice cream shop outside, just across from the shop they were currently in. "Better have a good enough reason for risking to ge kicked out of Elite. Obviously, our trainers here knows how and when to keep an eye on us."

Jackson narrowed his eyes at Kristoff, "You should know, I'm serious about everything that I say." He joked with most people ninety nine percent of the time and didn't mean a bit of it. Usually. But he was still pretty serious about it all. Jackson rolled his eyes at the both of them. "You're both such grandmas." He scoffed. "I bet Callaghan would be impressed...unless there was a certain nerd who knew how to shield us from said discovery." He shrugged, "And besides. We're protecting the stock market. Watching it for criminal activity or whatever you want to call it."

Kristoff kept looking at the stuff on the table in front of him as the other two talked. He glanced up to what Jackson was saying. "Whoa whoa, wait. What do you mean by we," he furrowed his eyebrows as he glanced to Hiro then back to Jackson. "...You mean us?" He asked as he pointed to himself and Hiro. He put down what he was holding, finally giving Jackson his full attention. What convinced him that they two "grandmas" were interested in helping?

Hiro perked up in slightly interested at this, although he did nothing more than just glance at Jackson. Impressing their trainer was kind of tempting, but still it was stupid to risk getting kicked out of here... Like Kristoff had just stated, Hiro loved it here. But still... the more he thought about it, the more intriguing this idea started to sound.
"Well duh, why else would he even bring it uo to us," Hiro replied flatly to Kristoff's question. "But still, why should we be intressted in helping you out?"

Jackson couldn't believe it. He scoffed and rolled his eyes, "You two are such wusses. And I didn't come to you, you overhead me making a verbal observation." He pointed out before pausing a moment, "Well if you don't, I'll make an attempt on my own, and, probably fail and claim that you two are my accomplices despite you not doing anything at all." Jackson shrugged carelessly, "It's quite a remarkable thing really, making it seem as if someone's done something when they haven't. I've done it plenty of times."

"Well yeah, but I don't remember us jumping on board." He replied to Hiro, looking back to Jackson as he began talking a lot. He blinked a couple of times throughout what he was saying. He knew the guy was kinda weird, but he was just something else now. "Unbelievable," Kristoff replied with a small laugh, like he didn't believe he was hearing this. This wasn't gonna end well it seemed. "So now we don't have a choice anymore. Can you believe this guy?" he asked as he glanced back to Hiro to see what he'd say. The idea was kind of growing on him despite being crazily ambitious and risky, even though he'd never admit it. But it was something new and different.

Hiro merely quirked an eyebrow at Jackson'a words, not sure if he was amused or not by the older. "Was that suppose to be a threat?" he dedpanned, not looking too worried about what he said. If the guy wanted help, then eh could glat out ask instead of trying to insult or scare them, not that he was doing a very good job at it though... Those 'insults' was kinda sad to litsen to. This just proves he's been hanging around Nolan a little to much before comming here. "Of course we have a choice," Hiro flatly stated to Kristoff, giving the other an unimpressed look. "Let him go and have his fun. And if he turns out to be such a coward and dragg us into it, no worries. If Callahagen for some reason fails to see through his trick, which I highly doubt in, I can easily just prove our innocence," he shrugged. "Quite a remarkable thing really, I've done it plenty of times," he mockingly shot back.
Even though hiding it, now Hiro was a little upset, seeing as he had been impressed by Jackson as well before. But he did not take lightly in trying to be forced into something. Nope, he was through with that.

"You jumped on board the very moment you agreed with me, dear boy." Jackson gave Kristoff an evil smirk. "Quite believable." He commented. They were so cautious. Of course, Jackson was probably the most cautious of the three, but he was still rather reckless in the same regard. Jackson nodded in agreement when Hiro spoke, cocking his head and raising his shoulder at the same time. Of course they had a choice! "It's actually not cowardice to 'drag you into it'...at least not in my opinion." Jackson rolled his eyes, brushing off Hiro's witty comeback as if it were the lamest thing he'd ever heard in his life. "Suit yourself," He chimed. "Take the risk if you wanna. But if I become some amazing hero I won't credit either of you." Jackson grinned, mostly to himself.

Kristoff made an amused yet puzzled face. "I don't remember agreeing either." He said with a small laugh, still not believing how serious the guy was. He was mostly just perplexed at Jackson--he was just such an odd character--which is why he kept smiling at every word that came out of his mouth. He listened to what Hiro said and snickered. What a smartass. These two were definitely amusing. "Please, with all the people here with crazy powers, you think one hacker is gonna be the amazing hero? You think you're Mr. Robot or something?" He said before taking a moment to chuckle at his own joke. "You can't do it alone. And if you want people you can't be dropping threats on every single person that hears your plan."

Hiro blinked once, twice, his current look clearly saying that he had a hard time taking Jackson any seriously. And people though him to be the kid. Hiro now had a ahrd time swalloing his pride (and stubborness) and admit that he was tempted to join in on this, but...
"'Hero'? Seriously?" he mutterd unimpressed. And here he thought the guy's insults and threats were lame. He glanced up at Kristoff, giving him a flat look at his joke.
