| Name: Hiro Hamada
Face: Hiro (Big Hero 6)
Age: 14
Family members: Father, Mother, Tadashi Bennett (older brother), Zarina Hamada (older sister)
Division: IRTS (Intelligence, resources and technical support)
Superpower: Super Intelligence
Description of superpower: Extremely heightened and enhanced intelligence/intellect. With better calculation skills and a more superior learning capacity, Hiro is able to create something with almost anything he can get his hands on, be it either an old tv, trashed toy or even a scrap of metal. Even at his young age, he’s already surpassed professors who's dedicated their life at their studies, an expertise in alot of differents fields such as physics, chemistry, mathematics etc. His strongest and most passionate field being computer science (he has yet to come across something he can’t hack into) and pretty much anything to do with robotics and machinery.
Personality: Quirky, invetinve, quick-witted, mischievous, and way to curious for his own (and other people's) good. Hiro’s mind never takes a break, literally, and never gets tired of exploring and learning new things. Whenever he comes across something new or intriguing, he takes it upon himself to figure out how it works and uncover all the secrets there is to it, not letting things go until he’s satisfied. He loves taking things apart, just to see how they work, and then build them back up or even upgrade it. To put it short, he loves to experiment with pretty much anything, be it on objects or even living beings, and thus is far from being easily disgusted. When it comes to other people with ’special talents’, he never feels inferior, and would most likely ask if he can run some tests on them. Whether they say yes or no, he’ll do it anyway. Since he’s used to being on his own, he’s kind of socially awkward, seemingly being a little too insensitive at times and preoccupied to even engage in normal, simple conversations. While he’s for the most part calm and collected, he’s near impossible to calm down when he gets excited, being both a little to reckless and hyper for most to handle.
Story: If someone would ask Hiro about his family, he’d only shortly reply with not even having one. During his time growing up at ’home’, Hiro had never felt the warm welcome whenever stepping inside his parent's house, no one who cared how his day has been or asking if he was ok. To put it simply, he was ignored or just brushed aside. The times he actually did get attention from his parents, were the times he got into some sort of trouble. In his earlier years he got scolded for always taking apart the television or computers (all the electrical appliances he happend to find), and whenever their car stopped working the missing parts would often be found somewhere in the house, most of the time leaving a trail to his room. In school he was instead noticed too much for his liking. It was early discovered that Hiro had the same intellect as a genius, and easily skipped more than just a couple of grades. Still, school was never a challenge for him, along with having to deal with the other student’s jealousy and intolerance and the teachers endless nagging of his lack of respect, he had eventualy stopped bothering to show up. He barely spent time at home as it was, much happier spending his days outside exploring and finding new things to build and tinker with. Still, even with the lack of affection from his family, Hiro could never claim to hate them either. How could you hate someone you didn’t even ’know’, after all. They just weren’t cut out for the role of being ’parents’. He knew he had siblings living somewhere else, but being the youngest and last child he’s never had a chance to meet any of them. Apparently, someone hade even been put to an orphanage around the time he had been born. He never saw a point of looking them up up however, secretly afraid of the possibility that he would not be welcomed by them either. Around the age of 12, while being out on one of his usual exploring and search for more materials to create with, he had without a care whatsoever wanderd into the more dangerous part of town when spotting something that peaked his interest. So, being the curious little brat, he had without questioned followed, thus stumbling across something he shouldn't have. His life could’ve ended right then and there, if it hadn’t been for the sudden help from a unexpected source. Since that day, Hiro had pretty much stopped returning back home, spending the rest of his time in these new parts of town and new ’friends’. He honestly didn’t think his family cared. So, after much demanding and close to threatning from his ’acquaintances’, he went back home only to his shock be greeted by his seemingly worried and hysteric parents. But, before he’d even get the chance to fully react, he had found himself down on the floor with broken and heavily bleeding nose. He spent almost a whole week locked up inside his room after that, wishing nothing more than to have his parents back to not giving him a single thought. He managed to escape of course, but this time he left the house for good.
Extra: -Photographic memory -Has an extremly sweet tooth, and would only live on sweets and pastries if he could. -Playing violent, gruesome horror games are in Hiro’s opinion, the best way ever to relax -Human contact in general usually makes him uncomfortable, even though while he tries to hide the fact. A simple hug can make him unsure of what to do or how to handle the situation, and a friendly pat to the back would earn you a weird, suspicious look. It's something he'd need a little extra time at getting used to...
