“Get back here, you asshole!” A young man shouted out as they stalked the maze of alleyways that he had ran into earlier on the hunt for the so-called asshole. Their eyes peered around, searching for anything that caught his gaze. “Looking for me?” A gleeful yet cheeky tone voiced out, resulting in the man took move around quickly and catch sight of his target, holding the hand of a young woman. The woman just gave him a light wave and giggled at his angered expression. That just seemed to even rile his mood up even more. The male’s eyes snapped from the woman to the male who was simply smirking at him, like he just got away with something. “Yes you! And hands off my girl!” he shouted out before charging towards the two in rage. The other male just laughed a bit at this, before running off with the woman around the corner. With the male following in hot pursuit and deeper into the maze of alleys.
Shortly after, a giggle could be heard around a corner near where the pursuer had been. “I can’t believe that worked!” A female voice spoke out in surprise and pure delight, belonging to a woman who had peeked around the corner to have witnessed the pursuit. “Amazing, Flynn!” she murmured before glancing back over her shoulder at a male behind her. The same male that had been the target of that pursuit. And she had been the woman by his side. Flynn chuckled a bit at the woman’s amazement, walking up behind her to peek around the corner as well. “A simple illusion to deal with a simple minded man.” He remarked out in a blunt tone, shrugging his shoulders as he gave the woman a snicker. She took quick notice of his comment and took swift action of elbowing him in the side. “Hush!” she hissed softly at him, although a small smirk formed upon her lips. “Hey! You’re the one who invited me out to hang out! And you even knew that his ass was at the shop too!” Flynn retorted, rubbing a bit at his side lightly. The woman shrugged her shoulders before she walked out around the corner and started heading south down one alley, causing Flynn to follow on after her. “He pissed me off. So why not piss him off with my gorgeous friend,” she exclaimed in a cheeky tone as she held out her hand, examining her nails.
“That’s so good to know… Taking advantage of my power like that…how could you,” Flynn remarked in a sarcastic tone, giving her a slight fake pout before grinning devilishly. “You had fun.” She simply responded with a soft huff. And with that said, Flynn couldn’t comment against such truth. So he just shrugged his shoulders and kept up with his friend’s steady speed. Shortly after a moment of silence, the woman had widened her eyes in surprise before stopping and digging into her purse. “Oh! I almost forgot! I wanted to see what ya though about this!” She exclaimed before quickly pulling out a flyer and shoving it into Flynn’s face. “Whoa! How am I going to stay your gorgeous friend if you keep shoving stuff in my face?” Flynn teased his friend as he quickly got a hold of the flyer, rubbing at his face a bit as his eyes scanned the flyer.
“Oh, lovely. A place that’ll contain others with powers… And my sister with her powers wasn’t enough.” Flynn responded as he lifted his gaze to glance down at his friend with a raised eyebrow. She just rolled her eyes at his sarcastic remark and waved her hand in annoyance at him. “I’m getting told this by her overprotective twin brother, it’s the end of the world!” she exaggerated in a fake tone before giving him a blank expression. “Look over it seriously, will ya? Your powers could be useful to the UN! Not just for petty fun and quick escapes.” Flynn sighed out lightly in annoyance as he gave her a look before glancing back down at the flyer. “I’ll look at it, alright? And I’m not overprotective….She’s just too much of a flirt for my liking…” Flynn grumbled as he kept his gaze focused on the flyer. The woman gave him a victorious smile before scoffing out loudly at his later comment. “You are such a hypocrite, Flynn! You’re the same too!” she pointed out before snickering and rushing off ahead of him. Flynn shook his head a bit in refusal as he clenched the flyer tightly in his hand as he ran after his friend. His mind fluttering over the damn annoying truth she told, yet it was also wavering over the contents of the flyer as well.
