Looking for Inspiration (Tag Duncan, Open)

It was a nice and warm day out as Sunny and Puck took a tour of the Zoo. It still felt unreal as they had only arrived at the UN Elite Training Center a few days ago. Sunny stared at a group of Zebras from behind the bars, he was too short to look over the bars. If he wanted a good look at them, he could have stood on the park bench that was beside him but that would have made him look ridiculous and Sunny wanted to put off being known as 'that really short kid who has to stand on things all the time' for as long as possible.

"I wonder if I could turn into a Zebra, Puck. It would be cool to find out, I've never tried before." When Puck heard her name, the 14 inch ferret paused in whatever ferret discoveries she had been making and looked up at Sunny before darting for the bars in a mad escape to join the Zebras on the other side. Fortunately, Sunny had her on the leash so Puck only made it as far as the bars before being forced to stop. "Ha! Nice try there Houdini!" Sunny said as he picked her up. "Besides, those guys aren't even your species, you idiotic furball." Sunny said affectionately as Puck climbed up his arm to nibble at his ears.

Duncan was walking through the zoo with his hands in his pockets. He'd honestly just run out of things to do, literally. At this point he was just wandering around the island trying to find something to entertain himself with. The zoo was on the way of his haring adventure so he'd just walked right in. He noticed a short kid talking to some kind of domestic rodent. "Is that a weasel?" Duncan inquired, stopping walking to look at the boy and his pet. "I didn't know we were allowed to have pets."

As Puck continued to explore his ears and hair, Sunny heard a voice speaking to him. Curious, he turned around and saw a friendly looking boy who was probably a few years older than he was. "She's a ferret actually. As for if pets are allowed, well, they never said 'no pets' exactly so I'm going to assume that they are allowed until someone says otherwise. Besides, even if Puck wasn't allowed to be here, I would have snuck her in with me anyways." Sunny said with a cheeky grin.

"Anyways, how about an introduction? I'm Wilson Samuels Jr but everyone calls me Sunny." Sunny said as he stuck out a hand towards the unknown guy. When Puck realized that there was another human around, she clambered down Sunny and made a beeline for the unknown human's shoes. "And that little furball is Puck. Those aren't converses or Nike are they?" Sunny asked as he pulled Puck away from the other boy's shoes.

Duncan nodded, only half interested in the...ferret. Looks like a weasel to me. He thought to himself. "I'm not really big on animals so it wouldn't matter to me whether they're allowed or not." Duncan didn't mind them, but he didn't go out of his way for one either. Duncan smirked at him. "Well that's real friendship." Duncan shook his hand, "Hey...Sunny. I'm Duncan...Astor." Duncan cringed as the ferret ran down Sunny and beelined for his shoes. "Uh...converse, actually. Why? Does she 'eat' them or something?"

She was walking around the zoo, and saw her "monkey" pals again. She waved to them and she saw their silly actions, like one trying to steal a banana from the other, which she found entertaining. This went on for a couple of minutes, and then she decided to walk around the rest of the zoo. She did see plenty of other animals which were pretty unique; after seeing those, she saw some guy with some animal that she would see at a park, and thought it was really adorable. She then saw some other guy who was in a conversation with him already, but, it couldn't hurt to make some new friends. She walked towards the guy with the ferret and some guy with blonde hair, and waved with a small smile. She turned to the guy with the ferret and smiled at it. "Hey, will it be alright if I pet your ferret?" She asked, quickly before petting.

Sunny grinned at Duncan's comment on 'real friendship'. "Heh yeah, well, sneaking Puck in places isn't to hard. I did it for almost a whole semester of highschool and didn't get caught. So I've had some practice." He nodded as Duncan shook his hand and introduced himself. "Nice to meet you Duncan."

He gave Duncan a wry grin when the other boy asked if Puck 'ate' shoes. "She used too. When she was a kit she had a bad habit of chewing on my converse and Nike shoes but only those kinds of shoes. I've managed to train her not to but that just means she knows it's bad and she's not supposed too. Doesn't mean she won't do it anyways sometimes." Sunny said with a wry smirk as he shifted Puck so that she was cradled in his arms.

Sunny was surprised when a girl, who was probably around his age, came out of nowhere and asked if she could pet Puck. "Uh, sure." Sunny said, a little surprised and wary. As for Puck, she immediately perked up and began sniffing the unknown girl's hand as she petted the curious ferret. "Her name's Puck by the way, I'm Sunny and this guy's Duncan. Who might you be?" Sunny asked as he recovered and was once more his friendly self.

Duncan blinked at the girl who approached and asked about petting the ferret. He didn't care 'Puck' all that much even if she was kind of cute, not to mention she wasn't his so he took a step back to allow the girl some room. He can't help but stifle a snicker as Sunny looked to be seriously protective of his companion. He was more surprised he didn't jump away saying how she couldn't pet her. Duncan raised a hand and waved slightly as Sunny introduced him for him. "What's up," He commented.

As she heard the guy saying yes to her petting the ferret, she couldn't help but smile as she started to pet the cute little animal. She started to feel the animal sniffing her hand, and she giggled a little. Of course, she was not here for the cute animal, she was here to make some new pals as well. As she was petting the pet, she turned to the owner and the blonde haired guy and gave them a quick grin. She heard the owner introducing himself as Sunny, and she nodded. "Hello there, Sunny. I'm Karissa. Pleasure to meet you, I have to say, Puck is really adorable and looks really friendly! I couldn't help but, come and see her." She said, with a soft voice so, she won't scare the small animal away; she turned to the other young man whose name was Duncan. "Hey Duncan, nice to meet you as well. I'm just here to explore the zoo, and see the animals in action. What are you guys up to?" She asked, with a small smile, and continued to pet Puck. These guys seemed friendly enough to chat too while she was exploring the zoo area.

Sunny gave Duncan a wry smirk when he saw the other guy trying not to laugh. He couldn't help being a little protective over Puck. She was one of his best friends and he was not at all ashamed of it. Besides, his careful attitude with Puck was not just for her sake, it was also for the sake of others. Puck could be extremely troublesome sometimes. Thankfully, she was being pretty good today.

He grinned back at Karissa as she introduced herself and complimented Puck. "Thanks. She's not always this good though. There's a reason I named her after one of the biggest tricksters of literature." Sunny said, keeping a watchful eye on Puck and Karissa. They were getting along well so Sunny let himself relax a little bit. "That's cool, Puck and I were doing the same thing till Duncan came along." He said, looking at the older boy before directing his attention back to Karissa. "We only got here a couple days ago. It seems like a really cool place."

Sunny watched as Puck tried to playful grab hold of one of Karissa's fingers as the girl petted the dexterous little ferret. "Would you like to hold her?" He asked Karissa.

When Karissa saw that the two guys were pleased to meet her, she smiled at them and continued to pet the little ferret. Puck seemed friendly enough to pet, and she reminded her of Hiccup's dogs that she loved to pet and play with when she was a little girl; she can tell that Puck somehow liked her. When he mentioned that his pet was not always this good, she gave out a small little chuckle. "Oh, so, she's a little trickster at times? Interesting." She comments, and saw that so far, she's good to her. She was pretty glad that Puck is getting along with her and saw that Sunny was pretty calm right now that she was doing good. When she was looking at Sunny, she nodded when he mentioned that he and Puck are enjoying the place so far. She was glad to see some newcomers going to the Elite just to enjoy the place and at the same time, train. "Oh, glad that you and Puck like this place. It's mainly based on training but, glad that you like the places outside the Elite building." She says, with a small smile. When talking to Sunny, she saw that the little ferret wanted to go over to her; when she heard him asking her if she wants to hold the little one, she nods. "Sure! Seems that she likes me!" She said, and holds out her hands for him to give her the little ferret. ((Aw! Puck is such a cute little animal ^^))
