Candy Mountain! [Nolan]

Hiro pouted to himself as he kept glaring up at shevles, cursing out whoever it was who had decided to put one of his favourite brands of cookies on the highest spot. Was it a way to keep kids away from sneaking it away in their parents carts during shopping or something? Well, whatever the thought behind it, it sure as hell wasn't funny. The boy pouted dispealed to himselg, glancing down at his basket currently on the floor by his feet, that was already pretty much filled to the brim with all kinds of sweets and ice cream. All that was really left was those damn cookies... that he couldn't reach. And no, asking for help was not a good option! He didn't need help for stuff like this... or much of anythign else either for that matter!
"Stupid... delicous... cookies...!" he mutterd, attempting yet again to jump to try and reaahc it, but of course with no such luck this time eiter.

Nolan was strolling around the supermarket once again, on a job to get more of those delicious cookies that Astrid has let him try the last time he had come here. As he got to the cookies and chips aisle, his brown eyes took notice of familiar brat jumping up and trying to grab a box of cookies from the tall shelf. Oh gods. He seriously wished that he had a camera right about now, tape the male's attempts, and use it as blackmail against the brat. But Nolan knew that helping the kid out would even piss the younger male off even more. He strode over to where the male and cookies were, reached up with ease and grabbed two boxes of the cookies. Dropping one box into the younger male's hands. "Having trouble there, brat?"

Seeing an arm appeared out of nowhere and grabb the cookies, Hiro could only gasp out in surprise at first when the damn bag was dropped in his hands. Already with his death glare on, he twirled around and was just about to rudely thank whoever the asshole is, only to freeze in his spot once he saw who the culprit was. His shocked expression barely even lasted a second, and soon enough his whole expression had dropped into a grimace as he glared up at the brunette. Out of all the people who would have bothered to lend him a hand... it had to be the jerkface with anger issues. Hiro honestly couldn't decide who despises more, Reno or Nolan. They were both equally annoying in their own ways.´
"Not until now," Hiro shot back, sticking his tounge out and placing the cookies in his basket.

Nolan's devilish smirk just even grew more at the sight of the male's expression at the sight of him, when the smaller male had turned around to face him. "Aww, someone's not to happy to see me." he teased the younger male, giving him a fake offended pout. Damn this brat serious had some issues with him. Well he did tease the younger male, who in return just either pissed him off or amuse him with his anger. He placed his box of cookies as well in his basket too before glancing down at the male's basket of sweets. "Damn, do you really need that much sugar?" he asked the male in a surprised tone, pointing down at the basket.

Hiro rolled his eyes at the teasing, not surprised to hear the older already going at it. It was their normal ways of communicating with each other after all. "I'm not redheaded asshole, so duh i'm not happy to see you," he said back, turning on his heels with hsi head held up high, and ended up dragging his basket across the floor instead of carrying it, but the boy didn't seem too bothered by that.
"And yes, yes I do," he answered to Nolan's next question, returning the surprised look with a flat and matter-of-fact expression. "Sugar it's like fuel to my amazing brain," he said cheekily.

Nolan snickered devilishly down at the male, tilting his head to the side. "Of course you're not, you're a bit to young and small to be my type," Nolan teased the male with a devilish grin , rolling his eyes at the male's reason for the sweets. "Aren't you a cocky little brat." he snickered, peering down at the male before reaching down, gripping the male's chin and tilted it up as the brunette examined the male's face. "How can you not see the similarities?" he murmured under his breath in surprise.

Hiro grimaced at the teasing, really not wanting to think about what the two jerks did when bored or wanting to 'relive some stress' as they put it. Thank whatever god that existed out there that Hiro was neither of their types. Urgh. Bad thoughts. Ew.
At the comment of him being cocky, Hiro just stuck his tounge out before looking straight ahead of him again, only intending on going back to his shopping list when all of a sudden, Nolan gripped his chin and made look back up at the brunette. "Woah what the hell are ya-?!" he blinked, staring up in sheer confusion at the older while million question run through his hyper active mind. Similarities? the boy thought, frowning as he swatted away the hand from his face. "The heck is up with you all of a sudden," he hissed, whipping off his mouth. "Did you accidentally fry your own brain or something?"

"I was just taking a closer look at ya." he remarked down to the male, furrowing his eyebrows at the similarities between the two were so great. He rolled his eyes a bit at the male's latest comment, chuckling a bit. "My powers can't screw with me. I thought you were smarter than that," he scoffed in annoyance before pausing for a short moment. Then finally replied, "You're like a younger, yet more aggressive Tadashi." He rubbed the back of his head as he kept his brown gaze upon the smaller male. "You sure that you're an only child?"

Hiro rolled his eyes at Nolan's little statement, nto needing to prove to himself (or anyone for that matter) that he was intelligent. He reached diwn to grabb hold of his basket again for another attempt to lave and keep ingoring the older, bu found himself frozen at the spot when Nolan asked a veyr tabbo question for the boy.
Where did that question suddenly come from?
"Since when is my family tree any of your buissnes?" he mutterd back lowly, avoiding eyecontact this time.

Nolan shrugged his shoulders a bit, giving the male a flat look. "Does it look like I care that it isnt my business?" Tge males family tree didnt matter mug to him. He was just curious about, that was all."just a bit curious to how you and the bunny look so similar. Dont tell me you dont see it either."

Another grimace washed over the boy's face when Nolan referred to Tadashi as 'bunny'. Geez, as if puppy nickname wasn't enough already, leave it to jerkface number 2 to come up with yet another thing to call the poor guy.
The boy lowerd his gaze, making sure Nolan wouldn't be able to see the pain flash quick in hs eyes at the mention of his 'family'. "Again, none of your buissness," he mutters. "It's not like you give a real shit anyway."
Of course the thought fo how similiar he and Tadashi are ahd struck him, But mostly out of his own sake, the boy genius had pushed all of those thoughts aside.

Nolan just gave the younger male a flat look, tilting his head to the side. "Do I got to have it to be my business for you to cut the shit with that excuse?" he scowled in annoyance, not really caring if the male kept on saying that it wasn't any of his business. The brunette was just going to pry even more so. "I might be an asshole, but that doesn't mean I don't give a shit." he frowned lightly. And his mind was definitely getting nagged by the prospect of Tadashi and Hiro being related or something.

"Why do you suddenly care about that?!" Hiro burts out, turning back around to glare up at the older male. If he was overreacting or not, Hiro couldn't care less. The topic of family has always been a taboo subject for him. Before he would have only respond with not even having one. But both Nolan and Reno know about him being a runaway (it wasn't exactly a secret) and would of crouse maybe wonder a thing or two about them. Hiro wasn't naive, but he'd really hoped that he wouldn't have been forced to even mention his so called 'family' here. After all, it hold no importance here. Hiro wa smore than fine with things were starting to turn out for him.
"Just drop it ok? So what if me and Tadashi are similar... it doesn't matter... doesn't have to mean anything..." he trailed off, glancing down at his feet. "I don't have any siblings. It's always only been me..."

"Because it's hard not to see the similarities between you two! And I'm just damn curious!" he countered the male's retort, scowling a bit. Was it that hard to speak about his family? Sure Nolan wouldn't understand about the male's family ordeal due to foster hopping. "No way. It kind of does seem to mean something...you act and look so similar." he remarked down to the male with a slight sigh. "You sure about that? Or are you keeping back another dark secret, runaway?"

"So? People can look and act in similar ways without being related to each other, so like I said it doens't have to mean anything," he groaled, clenching his fist in some attmept to keep his temper in check. Nolan wouldn't udnertsand anyway... his lifestyle having being hard yes, but also much different from how Hiro's had been.
HIs eyes grew increidbele wide then at Nolan's last sentce, for a couple of seconds just staring up at the older in a way that seemed what the brunette said had been one of the most horrible thing to jave ever left his mouth. "Y-you...." he began, expression growing dark. "Everyone on this damn island has their dark little secrers, you and the ginger included, and none of them matters here either," he began slowly, his shoulders trembling for a bit before he managed to stop it. "...I don't have any siblings, much less a 'family'. I wasn't wanted."
Biting his lip, Hiro turne don his heels once again, dragging the heavy basket after after him.

"You really so sure about that?" Nolan commented in a low tone, watching as the teenager's temper began to rise more and more. There was no ginger in sight to stop Nolan from his questioning and such. At the male's new horrified dark expression, Nolan quirked an eyebrow before gritting his teeth tightly at the male's comments thrown at him. "Yet your little dark secret is going to freaking follow you as long as Tadashi is here." he growled back down at the younger male, before following after him quickly. "Join the club, brat."

"Tadashi is Tadashi," Hiro growled under his breathe, the hold he had on the basket now so tight it made his knuckles start to whiten. "Nothing more, nothing less. We're just two geeks with alot of stuff in common." Pleas, just drop it, or go away, he kept pleading in his mind, cursing to himself when Nolan instead followed after him. Just what the hell did he want?!
"Just fuckign drop ti already!" he burst out, twirling around on hs heel suddenly, almost being run over by the older if he hadn't shoved him back as much as his body could manage. "Life is unfair, we both know that! You and the ginger surely more than I do! But if there's on thing you two assholes have taught me, it's to keep on living, leave the past in the past and focus on the things you want to do now. And that's exactly what I'm tyring to do..." he trailed off again, quickly blinking away tears that ahd wanted to slip down. He didn't wnt to think of the possibilities of running into his siblings.. other people who might as well push him aside, not wantign him around... just like his parents and everyone else.

"Too much in common if you ask me..." he grumbled lightly under his breath, watching the younger male closely with a blank expression. Suddenly the male quickly shouted out, turning around and pushing at his chest to get Nolan away from him. Although it really didn't do much.
"You don't face it now, it's going to creep up on you. And ruin the plans that you're making," he remarked down to the male, not faltering much at the sight of the male's watery eyes. It did make him feel a bit guilty for pushing this onto the male. "If I wanted to leave the past in the past, I wouldn't talk to neither you or Reno!" he scowled lightly, shaking his head. "So sorry. But the damn past is still going to follow you. Whether you like it or not."

Hiro bit his his lip harshly, clenching his fist when his hands began to tremble with frustration and anger. He fucking hated it when someone else made better points than himself, especially in situations concerning himself. "Again, why the fuck do you care..." he grumbled, lowering his eyes to the floor. "It's my problem to deal with, and you have no business snooping around it, curious or not."

"Because whether you like it or not, I still consider a brat such as yourself as a friend." He scowled lightly at the younger males attitude. Sure there were times that Nolan want to spark the kid up but thats because he pushed the right anger buttons of Nolans. Though he did tolerate the kid, yet reno tolerated the kid alot more than he did. "Then deal with it already before it blows up in your face." He snipped at the male.
