Crocodile tears | PENNY

Ted had finally managed to get to use one of those damn EVEs! It was a little success, he knew it very well, but still it was a success! A little step to finally be able to integrate in the center and keep pace with everyone else there. And in all honestly he couldn't be the only one in the whole center who hadn't been able to use an EVE, so it was quite the time!
However to celebrate his little success, Ted had decided to take a trip to the zoo: something quite weird to have in a center, but still interesting.

After a while, he stopped right in front of the cage of the crocodiles, once he had tried to turn his hand into crocodile's skin touching one of his mother's bags: it turned out that it wasn't real crocodile's skin, so he just absorbed ordinary plastic.
Moving his look at the big reptiles, Ted wondered what it would be if he touched one of the crocodiles. Would he be able to absorb the material before they attack them?!

Penny sat on the ledge of one of the smaller animal enclosures, which was opposite the crocodile enclosure. She was attempting to converse with the Red Pandas, however due to her lack of experience with her ability she started to hear what they were saying, then it faded and she could no longer hear anything but their little squeaks. This is SO IRRITATING!

Groaning and sitting outwards on the wall, she curled herself into a ball. "Maybe I'm not cut out for this..." She mumbled, slowly lifting her head to see a boy not much older than herself standing at the crocodile enclosure.

Ted shock his head as he moved his look away from the crocodiles. His interest into them disappeared quickly as it started: if he wasn't going to do something with them why keep looking?! In the zoo there was surely something more interesting than a couple of boring crocodiles! Yeah, there was also the fact that he wasn't able to focus on something for more than a couple of minutes -as his mother used to say- however Ted was sure that there was something better and it was just in front of him!
Standing in front of one of the cages, the Red Panda's one, there was a girl -that looked somehow familiar to him- intent into a... conversation with the pandas?!
It was obviously possible, at least in a place like that, however for Ted it was the first time that he met someone with such powers! He should totally know her!

He smiled to himself and moved towards the girl "Hi..." he smiled sightly waving his hand, as he approached the girl "I hope I didn't interrupt anything."
