"I see." She replied still unable to understand him but then eventually approached him and wrapped her arms around his neck and smirked up at him. "Oh yes it was love at first sight you know silver?"

Riku placed his hands on her hips as she pressed up against him. He smirked. So she did know how to have fun after all, he mused. He leaned in as if he would kiss her but stopped, just a breath away from her lips. "Too bad love isn't real." he replied. "Or I might have just fallen for that, Barbie."

Astrid almost gasped as she felt his hands on her hips and was about to move her head away from him and his approaching lips when she chuckled and smirked hearing his reply. "Actually that really sounds quite tempting to proove you wrong. Good thing for you though you ruined the mood with the nickname." She said with a wink.

"Try to prove me wrong and I'll beat you every single time," Riku replied. He would, at least on the matter of love. He had a thousand reasons why love didn't exist. However he saw how she was squirming a little uncomfortably and he let her go. He stepped back, to give her back her space. "Wouldn't have to use nicknames if you had given me your name in the first place."

"Okay first of all, better don´t or else I´ll make you eventually regret it to have hit me." She started a little scolding though still with a slight smirk on her lips since she was aware of her power. "Second there is no need to be that repellent to love but let´s put that theme aside. Third silver is something nice of value and use. A barbie on the other hand is a toy for little girls."

"Hit you? I wouldn't hit you," Riku said. By beat he meant prove her wrong. Like his little challenge to her. Riku would never attack anyone who didn't deserve it. It was the whole reason he was in this mess in the first place. Deciding to pass over his judgment of love, Riku skipped to her third realization, "I know more about silver than you think. Besides, Blondie, you're not helping yourself out by not giving me your name."

Astrid just couldn´t help herself but laugh at she had obviously had quite the misunderstanding. "Sorry." She replied with a friendly smile for the stranger before she hold out her hand towards him. "Very well then. You can just call me Astrid since I doubt last names are of any matter here."

Riku raised a brow when she had started laughing. He glanced down at her hand when she offered it to him. After rolling his eyes he shook her hand. "Right. I'm Riku," he replied. He didn't feel inclined to use his last name either. Not like she needed to know it. His family was made up of nobodies anyways.

"Well then, it´s still nice to meet you Riku." She replied while she let go of his hand again and took a look at her watch. Some time had already passed and she still needed to do a little training session for herself today. However when she´d do so was up only to her. "If you´re up for it I got some free time we could spend together. Only if you want to though of course." She offered him. If he´d reject her or not she didn´t either as they still have only just met and had an ... interesting start.

"I suppose," Riku replied, "Not like I have anything better to do with my time." And honestly, he didn't. He would use his powers whenever he felt like it. He didn't care of Astrid got her training in. That wasn't his responsibility. "And what exactly did you have in mind?"

She smiled as he agreed but then shrugged. "Well we could grab something to eat first and then visit the arcade or stroll around till we find something fun?"

"Fine by me," Riku replied. Food was always good. He supposed he had enough cash. He tended not to carry a lot on him since it was a good way to get mugged if you flashed around a lot and it was a habit he had yet to break. Besides, if they went to the arcade he could always rig the machines to spill their coins. A wonderful bonus for controlling metal. So he followed along behind her with his hands in his pockets.
