a little teasing never killed nobody (TAG Tadashi)

Remi was busy today with yoga or some stuff like that, so Cloud decided to go to the cafeteria for lunch instead of cooking something himself. He chose a bis steak with beans and potatoes and sat down at one of the tables, all by himself. It was nice he was alone right now. Well.. of course he noticed the looks the girls in the cafeteria gave him, but he stayed strong and didn't smile back at them. He was Remis boyfriend since just yesterday after all. He ate a piece of the steak. Hmm, it wasn't so bad after all.

Once again, Tadashi had spent the whole morning in the lab, tinkering around, experimenting, working... bottomline, by lunchtime he was exhausted... and famished! He needed a break before getting back to work so he directed himself to the cafeteria where he was sure he could find something quick and nice to eat. He took a small slice of pizza (so he could at least say he was eating something salty) a slice of cheesecake and a chocolate chips muffin, as well as a small bowl of chocolate pudding. Well... he was hungry! Beside, no matter how much he ate, he never gained weight so...
He didn't even notice Cloud and just went straight to an empty table, sitting down, getting ready to eat his lunch...

Cloud chewed a piece of meat when he noticed Tadashi who was passing him and sitting down on a table on the right to him. Obviously he hadn't noticed him, so Cloud decided to go go over to him. He took his plate and stood up and walked over to the table Tadashi was sitting on. "Hey, Tadashi. Mind if I sit with you?", he asked with a wink and sat down in front of him, not really waiting for his permission. "How are you?"

As he sat down, he stared for a moment at the slice of pizza: normally he should have started with that, that was how meals went, first salty and then sweet... but now he didn't have his mom, nor Remi for that matter, to tell him what to do... it was food-anarchy! He could easily start with the cheesecake! He had just took the cake to bring it closer when a familiar voice distracted him and suddenly he saw an equally familiar blonde guy sitting down at his table "Oh... uhm... He-hey, Cloud... " he greeted him, shaking his head at his question "Y-you can... sit..." he replied, though the answer was totally useless since the guy was already sitting in front of him. "I-I'm fine... uhm... w-what about y-you?" he asked back, and it was obvious that he was still nervous around the boy...

"I'm fine, too though Remi really keeps me busy..", he said with a mischievous smile. It was so amusing how he was stuttering all the time. "Why here all alone?", he asked and put another piece of meat in his mouth, looking curious at him. "Did you want to be alone? I don't wanna bother you. Just say something.", he went on talking. He was sure Tadashi wouldn't send him away even if he wanted to, but he wanted to give him the opportunity to send him away at least. He looked at the cake the other was eating and smiled amused. "Doesn't your pizza get cold?"

What Cloud said about Remi made Tadashi blush til the tip of his ears: he didn't wanna hear those kind of stuffs, especially not about Remi!!! Why was Cloud telling him? He hadn't asked! He didn't want to know! As the guy kept on talking, asking about why he was alone, he gladly accepted the chance to change subject "I-I'm just... t-taking a break f-from t-training..." he explained, like that explained why he was supposed to be alone. Well... it did in his mind: he had to be quick, to answer only to his own time... so... but that was hardly an excuse for other people. "N-no, you can stay..." he replied and Cloud's implciation he might need to leave, then, as he asked about the pizza, he stared for a moment at the slice: he wasn0t even sure he was gonna eat that... he had bough it more for conscience problems... "uhm... y-you can ha-have it, i-if you want it... I-i p-prefer the c-cake..."

It was just too much fun making him nervous and blush all over his face. "Hm, so really hard working, yeah? Just as it should be.", he commented and ate another piece of his meat. He blinked in surprise when Tadashi offered him his pizza. "No, what makes you think I was asking because I want to eat it?", he asked and had to stop himself from laughing, but he couldn't keep a chuckle. "It's yours, so eat it. 'You should eat more, Tadashi!' ", he imitated Remi's voice and smirked at him. He was sure this was the exact thing Remi would say. Probably something about healthy food, too.

He took a spoon of his cheescake and ate it while Cloud commented about him being such a hard worker, and he wasn't sure if that was even an actual compliment or just some more teasing! But when he commented about the pizza, well, that definitely was teasing... and he even imitated Remi's voice!!! And Remi was the exact reason why he had even taken that pizza slice... he just had her in mind, along with her mom, telling him to eat something healthier, not just sweets! He blushed til the tip pf his ears, looking down "I-I-I c-can't e-eat a-a-all of t-this..." he complained, he just took the pizza to silence his conscience...

Now Cloud couldn't stop himself from laughing anymore. Looked like he totally hit the bull's eye there. He leant back in his seat and put a hand on his stomach. "Oh man, you're just hilarious.", he said and sat properly again. "If you can't eat so much, why did you get it then?", he asked and raised his eyebrows. He put one of the small potatoes in his mouth. His mother had always told him not to waste food. But he wouldn't get full just with a piece of cake and a muffin and stuff.

Tadashi just blushed even redder, now he was the same colour of a ripe cherry and he couldn't look more embarrassed: he almost regret letting Cloud sit at his table... and... he was hilarious? What did he do to be defined as 'hilarious'? As he asked why he took so much food, he replied lowly with just one word "Remi..." that was explanation enough... at least for him...

"Sorry.", he smirked as he noticed that Tadashi was feeling really uncomfortable. Of course he was not sorry at all. "Remi?", he echoed and chuckled. "Oh, that's so typical. She's not here, cappy. Do whatever you want. So if you don't want the pizza, don't buy it.", he said nonchalant and shrugged.

"I-it's j-just... ha-habit..." he replied, trying to justify himself: it wasn't like he blamed Remi for that, she worried for him and it was something he appreciated, he actually appreciated it a lot. Beside, he always had this sort of instinct, trying to please people around him, especially people he cared about... He just wanted to eat the sweets now, though! Was that such a crime?
