Introduction (TAG:Tadashi&Cloud)

Remi decided that since she told Cloud and Tadashi to meet her in the middle of the afternoon, they'd probably be hungry when they got to her. She was hungry, so it was definite that they would be too. And unlike the other restaurants around campus, Remi could make really simple requests and alterations to her pizza to suit her highly specific diet. Luckily for her, one of the pizza guys was really nice and didn't mind replacing the cheese on her pizza with vegan parmesan. She then ordered what she knew Tadashi would like, and for Cloud, well she made an educated guess. She would've texted them both but she didn't want to smother them, even though she knew they probably wouldn't mind. She was nervous that it wouldn't go well. There wasn't a reason why it should go wrong, but she still felt on edge about the whole thing. It even took her an hour to decide on what to wear. With that said, Remi sat down at a table with the three pizzas and waited for her dates to arrive.

Cloud was happy that Remi wanted to see him again so soon, but he was a little surprised about the place. Pizza? Did they even have anything vegan? Normally not, with all the cheese and the things in the dough, but maybe they had a special vegas one, who knew. When he arrived, Remi was already sitting on one of the tables with pizza in front of her. So her best friend wasn't here yet. Hmmmhh, good, maybe he could kiss her a little bit.. He smiled at her from the distance and when he got closer, he put a hand on her shoulder and kissed the spot behind her ear. "Hello sweet Remi..", he mumbled. "I missed you." He put another kiss on her lips and then straightened up again to sit down next to her. "So, it looks like you can't wait to eat?", he asked with a chuckle and pointed on the pizzas, smiling amused at her. "Is that even vegan?"

Tadashi had spent, once again, the whole morning and a great part of the afternoon in his division, training and studying, studying and training, trying to keep his mind off of Flynn and of what Reno had told him... he wasn't upset with Reno... well, maybe just a tinsy bit, but that didn't mean he consider Reno any less of a friend. He was just worried for Remi... she had only sent him a message back to him, saying she was fine and that it was better to talk in person... and then, in the next message, she brought back the subject of him meeting Cloud... well, he wanted to, she seemed serious about him and she... she was his best friend, she was like a sister to him! Of course he wanted to see who this guy was... no matter if he was scared... What if he didn't like him? Or what if Remi would start ignoring him just to stay with this guy? No... no he had to stay calm and... and just see what would happen. Especially, check how Remi was. He really hoped she was doing ok... He entered in the pizza place right after a blonde guy and spot Remi immediately: she had already ordered pizzas too! Good, he was starving! And yummi! She had ordered the double cheese for him! He started approaching her but then he stopped: the blonde guy who had arrived just before him reached her first and kissed her. Twice. And once on her lips. He froze on the spot and blushed like a cherry. So... that was Cloud...

Remi knew it was Cloud who kissed her, he always kissed her there. She smiled and turned, but before she can speak he kissed her on the lips. "Missed me?" She repeated. "You just saw me." She smiled, it was still nice to hear anyway. "No! I’m starving! Training with my trainer is the most tedious thing I’ve ever done. She has no regard for anything I have to say!" She exclaimed, recalling when she'd first met her. Remi looked at the pizza when Cloud pointed then she smiled back at him. "It is. I got them to change the cheese. They were really nice about it." She explained, offering Cloud the one she got for him and leaving the one for Tadashi where it was. She hoped it didn’t get cold. "It’s vegan now." She answered. Remi liked pizza, but she could never get anyone to change her cheese. Remi glanced up to see Tadashi blushing deep red. Tadashi had never done well with public displays of affection. "Tadashi!" Remi got up and walked over to him, giving him a hug, "You look nervous." She murmured to him. Or scared... Remi pulled Tadashi to the seat across from she as Cloud before taking her own seat and taking her first slice. She didn’t want to be rude and start eating without them. "I got you your double cheese." She chimed to Tadashi. "Tadashi this is Cloud, Cloud this is Tadashi." She grinned. "Be nice to him." She said to Cloud with a wink.

"I know", he commented on her telling him they already seen each other not long ago. He laughed. "Yes, training is really hard. But she can't be worse than my trainer. He really hates me. It's like he is always teaming up with Noctis and you know about me and him.", he said with a grin. It was always fun to talk about Noctis and even more to make him angry. Oh, he still needed to take his revenge for the introduction-day...Well, he'd think about that another time. "Oh, really? That's pretty nice.", he said and smiled at her, feeling happy that she didn't have had any problems with the guys in the kitchen. Otherwise he would simply have made them to change the cheese.
When Remi got up to welcome her friend, he turned to him with a curious look. So that was Tadashi. He really looked like the smart-but-shy type. Obviously. He smirked at the other guy, who's face was really red. He shook his hand when the other male came closer and smiled nicely at him. He did want to leave a good mark after all. "Hey, really nice to meet you.", he said and couldn't resist to smile amused at his facecolour. Wasn't he adorable? He sat down again and smirked at Remi when she started to eat. He was hungry himself, so he looked down at what she got him. "Oh, with pepperoni? Did you think I'd like that because it's spicey and... hot?", he asked teasingly. He loved spicey food, so he didn't hesistate to take a slice himself, biting into it while still looking at Remi with a tempting glance.

As Remi reached him and hugged him, he hugged her back tightly, quite wishing now he didn't have to let her go and that he didn't have to meet the blonde guy... yup, he was nervous, of course he was! He was starting to regret asking for this... but no, Remi had said she was serious about him, and she was spending so much time with him... and he was her best friend, it was his duty to know him... wasn't it? Quite frankly... he had no idea. He could only hope he was doing good enough... As she pulled him toward the table and the blonde boy, she followed her, his face still awfully red. "ah... uhm... h-hello... n-nice to meet you... Cloud..." he peeped shyly to Cloud, barely able to look at him while he sat down. As Remi pointed out how she had already ordered pizza, and even his favourite for him, he flashed her a smile peeping a "thank you" before he himself took a slice and then took a bite from it.

Remi felt a bit relieved at Cloud's kindness to Tadashi. Surely he saw how shy and awkward he could be. This was new for her too. Tadashi had never met any of her boyfriends before...she never had one. Was Cloud even considered her boyfriend? Were they dating? She'd have to ask him about that. Maybe she'd ask him later. Remi rolled her eyes at Cloud, "No," She specified. "Most meat eaters like pepperoni." She pointed out, ignoring his tempting glance.
Remi frowned at the silence. She hated silence, it was stifling. And not usually a good thing in her opinion. She was afraid Tadashi would get even more shy. It seemed like he didn't really like Remi being intimate with guys. Hmm, she'd have to ask Tadashi about that. "Well, I haven't had any trouble with my diet." She commented to Tadashi. She'd told him she was worried that the island wouldn't be able to accommodate her before they arrived. "See?" She pointed to her slice of pizza before taking a bite.

Cloud didn't feel any kind of uncomfortable silence, he just ate another two slices of his pizza and watched the others talking, before he spoke again. "So, you two sweethearts. Tell me, from where do you know each other? Never heard this story.", he asked with a curious look, getting another piece and started to eat it. Actually, he and Remi didn't talk that much about each other. He didn't want to tell her about his stupid life and broken family, but he did want to know more about her life. Quite unusual for him. Normally he didn't really give a fuck for the lifestory of a girl, so what was different now? He watched Remi, how she ate, how she talked and he felt that he did want to know more about her. He didn't know if he was comfortable with it, but why shouldn't he? Wasn't it a normal thing to do? He felt like he wanted to talk about it with someone, but all he could think of were his brother or Reno, or worse: Noctis. Not a single one of them could - or wanted to - help him, that was for sure. He realized he had stopped eating and kept on.

Tadashi kept quiet, nomming silently on his pizza until Remi spoke up: he didn't mind silence, to be honest, he didn't find it such a bad thing, even though, sure, there were times when he preferred it to be broken... but in that case, he just couldn't be the one to break it. Luckily, Remi was better than him at doing so. As she started talking about the food he nodded "Told you so!" he replied with a smile: he had been really positive about the subject when they had discussed it back at home.
Now he really wanted to ask Remi about Reno, knowing if she was actually ok, and it was probably quite evident to Remi that something was bothering him, but before he could even manage to think about asking, Cloud asked a question himself. "ahm... s-school..." was his shy and laconic reply. After all, if he wanted more details, Remi could always give them to him...

Remi was sort of expecting for Cloud t ask how they knew each other, and she was definitely expecting Tadashi a short answer, as always. Remi looked over at Cloud before glancing at Tadashi. "Well actually, when I met Tadashi I was struggling in math class. Tadashi's really smart so he explained it to me. And then I started rambling as usual and after that he and I kept talking to one another all of the time and hanging out a lot and that was basically how we became best friends." Remi explained with a small nod. "He was the first person I ever told about my power." She would've told her sister first but she was afraid that she'd freak out.

"Hmmm, okay. That's nice.", he said with a smile towards Remi and then Tadashi, before he ate the rest of the pizza. "Hmmm, it was really good.", he said and leant back, looking at Remi again. "I think I'll get myself a dessert later", he said with a smirk and winked at her. "Something really sweet...", he mumbled in addition. He turned his glance back on Tadashi. "So, you're a pretty smart guy, huh? Guess that's also your power then. I always thought the really smart people were calculating and not very familiar with interacting with other people and stuff, ya know? But you don't seem to be like this.", he said to him. He was more like an innocent sheep, Cloud thought amused. Totally different from himself in every way.

He was glad that Remi explained the rest, as he had expected, smiling fondly at the memory of those first times when he had helped her with math. It was such a long time ago now... He kept nomming on his pizza, but he was far slower than Cloud: while the other male had already finished his pizza, he had barely eaten half of his... though, when he mentioned the possibility of dessert, he looked up tilting his head, looking interested in the subject, not understanding at all what Cloud was really talking about. "Uh? Do they make desserts here?" He asked, obviously curious and interested: if so... he surely wanted icecream!!!
As Cloud turned to ask him a new question, Tadashi looked once agai quite embarrassed, but still forced himself to answer "I.. uhm... I guess so... I mean... I-I-'m not super-intelligent I-I'm a tecnhnokinetis... I-I was j-just good in school..." he stuttered, blushing a bit, as always being auite a bit too modest about his intelligence: the fact that it wasn't his superpower didn't mean he wasn't still really bright, he always was the smartest in his class managed to pass every subject without effort...

"I'm glad you enjoyed it," Remi commented, still eating hers. She'd only finished two slices, but then again she didn't really eat a lot of food. Remi resisted her best to blush. He really shouldn't say such things around Tadashi. Especially after his run in with Reno and his friend. Remi nudged Cloud's knee with her own, mumbling, "Stop it." She said so only he could hear, "Later." Remi glanced at Tadashi, "Oh," How was she going to brush that off with Tadashi? "They might." She chirped, "Cloud has a sweet tooth." Remi looked back at Cloud. "A really sweet one." Remi rolled her eyes at Tadashi's modesty, "Okay, so maybe he can control technological things with his mind too, but Tadashi's really smart too. He doesn't give himself any credit." Remi recalled how she'd have to spend hours studying for her straight A's. "I always had to ask Tadashi about answers to homework and things like that."

Wasn't she adorable trying not to blush? Cloud snorted and smirked at Remi when she hit him with her knee. He had a really hard time trying not to laugh out loud. "Oooooh, yes, I do. A really sweet one indeed. I could eat sweet things aaaaaall day and aaaaaaaall night.", he returned still with a big smile on his lips. "Hm, that's interesting. And really useful too, right?", he said and couldn't stop himself from thinking about what he could all do with it. In every way, of course. "So, can you also make a machine work even if the battery is dead? Where are the limits? And you really don't need to be shy, I don't bite. Except if I'm asked to.", he added and already expected another hit of Remi.

Tadashi didn't get what Remi and Cloud were discussing about: it did look like they were saying something different than discussing about sweets but he really couldn't get what. He just blinked and looked perplex at them both, then, as Remi started complimenting him again, he blushed again, embarrassed. Well... it was true... during school he put no effort at all in study, he spent most of his time playing videogames, the only reason his family didn't want him to jump to higher classes was cause they didn't want him to give up on the social life he had, no matter how little or awkward it was. It was still something... And as his mom always said, his big brain surely would open doors for him later on anyway. As Cloud turned once again toward him, talking again to him, Tadashi couldn't help but look down. He couldn't help with his shyness, at times he was still shy even with Remi, and she was his best friend! "N-no... I-I mean... I-I can help saving up s-some battery b-but... i-if the battery is dead... i-is dead..." sure, he could help saving up a lot of battery if the machine still had some, but he still needed a power source, his power helped tinkering with those technological and electronic stuffs, but he still wasn't a God of technology...

Remi hit her knee against Cloud's again as he over exaggerated his falsified sweet tooth. He was doing this just to embarrass her or was he doing it because he was really enjoying it. Either way Remi was going to punish him for it later...she had some devious ideas about that. "Too bad for Cloud he doesn’t get to eat them as much as he'd like to." Remi commented. She nibbled on another piece of pizza while Tadashi explained all of the specifics of hi power. Now that she thought about it, she didn’t know anything about Cloud's power. It had never occurred to her to ask. She probably could've saved a lot of heartache if she had've asked... Remi smiled at Cloud. "What’s your power?" She asked him curiously.

He couldn't keep a light laughter now. "Yes, that's really sad. But I take what I can get, especially from these tasty vanilla-things. I just love those.", he said and grinned once again. Remis face was just too funny. He could almost see that she was plotting something in her pretty head to take revenge. Revenge was sweet aswell, wasn't it? He couldn't wait for what she would do to him...
Cloud nodded at Tadashi. "Yeah, makes sense. Mh, my power? Did I never tell you?", he thought about that while speaking. Obviously he didn't. "I control temperature. I thought you knew because I always make your blood boil.", he added teasingly. He just couldn't stop. "Nah, but seriously", he leant back on his chair, "It's really cool and also really dangerous for any kind of enemies.", he explained and remembered how easy it was for him to kill someone. And how many times he already had done that. Probabaly nothing those two could bear up.

He really didn't understand all this talking between them, but a part of him realised that it was better this way: just... better not even try to understand. He kept nomming on his pizza, even if now he was quite stuffed and he doubted he would finish it all. Still, as Cloud talked about his power he was quite interested: well, that surely was an interesting power! And... wait he did what to Remi? He blinked a couple of times in Remi's direction but by her look it didn't look like he hurt her or anything like that... so, once again, just better not to ask... he just kept nomming lazily on his pizza slice, even if he wasn't hungry anymore...

Remi ignored Cloud's comment about his vanilla flavored dessert. At this rate even Tadashi would catch on to what they were talking about—and the last thing she needed was to explain an entire sex joke to Tadashi. Remi waved a reassuring and dismissive hand at Tadashi's concerned expression. It wasn’t her blood that Cloud made boil anyways. Remi was definitely surprised by Cloud's power, it was really unusual. She wondered if that was why neither of them seemed to sweat during sex... "That’s definitely cool." She said when he finished. "My power isn’t any good for 'fighting enemies'."

"It was healing, right? I think that's even more important because you need to heal all the guys who get hurt during a mission or whatever.", he said and winked in a nice manner. "And of course I would always be there to protect someone as important as you. Like a princess and her knight, right?", he said and chuckled. He sometimes thought of himself as a knight for his mother, but never one with a dazzling suit of armor. More a black one. At least black looked good on him, he thought amused.

He kept on nomming on his pizza, silently, even if he definitely wasn't hungry anymore, but at least nomming on pizza gave him a good reason for just staying there silently. He knew he had been the one asking Remi to meet Cloud, but now he was really wondering if that had been a good idea... he was, as usual, just too shy to have a normal conversation and that felt so awkward, he felt like he was intruding in their chat...

"Well, I," Remi collected her thoughts. "I'm definitely useful, but I'm not very good for anything offensive. Which in my case is pure luck because I really don't condone violence...like at all. I personally don't think that we should be fighting anyone, but then again I don't believe that anyone should really be fighting anyone. People think that a show of force will make another back down when in most cases it just makes someone stand up." Remi looked at Tadashi. She hated when he got shy and nervous when they were with other people, it really made her feel like she was leaving him out! "Tadashi, don't overeat." She told him. He always did that, it was an excuse for him to stay silent. "Is there something you want to talk about?"

"Hmm, that really matches you.", he said and smiled at her. It really did and it made him a little uncomfortable, but he didn't show that a bit. "True. But there will always be someone who fights you or someone you love, so you have to fight back to protect yourself and your loved ones. That's just how it is. I don't believe humans will ever stop fighting each other. I mean, they always did and they always will", he said and shrugged. Noone could do something against it.
He looked now curious at Tadashi and smiled again, but said nothing.

Tadashi kept nomming lazily on his pizza until Remi told him to stop. He nodded, blushing a bit, and put his pizza down: he actually was really full so it wasn't such a big sacrifice... As Remi kept on and asked him if there was something he wanted to talk about, though, he suddenly wished he could disappear. Instinctively, he would have immediately shaken his head in a silent no, even if actually he wanted to ask Remi about Reno... "S-so... uhm... h-how's your traing g-going?" he asked to them both, that was just a generic question so possibly something good for a conversation?

Remi groaned out loud, throwing her head back at the thought of her trainer. "Miss Gothel is really a menace. On the very first day, she had a collection of injured animals simply for experimental purposes! It's the most absurd thing I have ever seen in my life! I'm totally writing a letter to someone in the administration. There have to be other ways to display powers." She huffed, folding her arms across her chest and leaning back in her chair. "Other than her, it's pretty cool. I want to learn how to heal others on a mass scale. I don't know if it's possible but..." Remi shrugged. "I'd like to." She smiled at the two others, "What about you two?"
