We meet again... {TAG Reno}

Reno almost rolled his eyes again at her retort, but kept his expression unreadable and cold. Did girls didn't really litsenign to a word I just said, he thought, though honestly not a bit surprised. Beacuse yeah, of course he was doing this just to show how god damn brave he was, he thought srcasticlly. Well no matter, he's said what eh wanted too and now ah dno more reason to stick arund this 'oh so defeensless little girl'. It's not that his ego was hurt, it was nothing compared too... other things he's been made to endure and live with afterall. He just wanted to get a point across to her.
With one last shrug, showing that he really didn't give a shit what she thought about him, he began turning around to walk out of the alley. But then he noticed her form start to waver from the corner of his eye, and suddenly she was don on the ground, unconscious.
"Seriously?" Reno utterd out in disebelif after a couple of seconds, crouching down by her unmoving form and easily lifting her up in his arms. Had this been a year ago, Reno would've probably left here there. But nope, he jsut had decided to try and change his ways, along with holding a small respect for this girl's twin. And ok yeah, while she just made Reno lose all interesst he had with her, she didn't deserve to lay here abanoded in some dark alleyway.
Good thing her room was right across from his, so unlike last he left the bar carrying a girl on his back, he knew where to put this one.

Rosetta didn't manage to regain consciousness until Reno escorted her back in her room, placing her on the sofa: for the whole time she was passed out, she kept having less than pleasant flashes from a past she liked to pretend never happened, things that she liked to forget but that Reno's action now had brought back to her mind. When she woke up, she was still terribly confused and uncertain of what was going on but her first instinct was to quickly sing to whoever was next to her to freeze: her expression was terrified, all the fear she didn't show back in the alley was showing now.
It took her a couple of minutes to connect, to understand what happened, to remember and to figure who was next to her: she blinked twice, trying to recall exactly what had happened. Did he... attack her? N... no... no, it wasn't exactly his fault if she had lost consciousness... and it was actually quite surprising he had decided to help her. Gulping and trying to regain her composure, she sang him to allow him to move again. She was evidently still quite a bit shocked...

Reno had been as gentle as he could during the whole walk back to the dormitories, and hold back the urge to just carelessly drop her on the bed. Nope, instead he put ehr down as softly as he could, even went to as far to pull off ehr shoes and place them on the floor. This is just like deja-vu, he thought a bit annoyed, straighten up and was ust about to leave the room. But then of course she choose that moment to wake up and start singing, freezing him on the spot.
"For fuck sakes," he mutterd, sendign ehr a tired glare but paintentlly waited for her to realse him. He couldn't really blame her this time anyway, and that obvious fear she had on her face... actually made him feel a bit guilty. Ah hell I really am getting to soft.
He sighed again when she released him, cracking his neck a bit and just relived to be able to move again. "Ya ok there?"

She was still shaking lightly, but at his question she quickly replied "I'm fine." She replied quickly, a bit too quickly: it was obvious she was just used to lie about that, she was just miscalculating the right times because of the shock... Slowly she managed to hide again her fear behind a mask of composure and nonchalance, managing even to regain her smug smile. She sat up on the sofa, even if her head was still light and dizzy. She didn't stand up, but she couldn't stand that vulnerable position... "Guess I should thank you, you had no reason whatsoever to help me..."

"Right," Reno muttered at her quick reply, obviously not believing ehr but npt pushing it any further. Judging by her state and current condition, she's been through enough for one night, tht smug smile she out on not fooling him. ...but at least she had the decency to thank him, which honestly surprised him a bit.
"No reason-? Oh please," he scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Reason or not, what kind of person would that make me if I just left ya there?" he mutterd. "Well whatever... just rest up."

"If people were nice I would have no reason to use my power" she replied with a bitter smile, looking away. For a minute or so she didn't say another word, only when Reno was about to leave and he had already reached the door she spoke up again "I'm sorry." she said it lowly and without looking at him, but clear enough for him to hear it perfectly. "I'm a spoiled bimbo, I know that" she said almost in an apologetic tone, just to add immediately after "and don't take me wrong, I have no intention to change" just cause she didn't want to show him too much vulnerability: she still had to show him her smug self, smiling once again to him with her usual grin, no matter what bad opinion he could have of her, no matter how much he could despise her... she wasn't looking for approvation, after all... "but it wasn't my intention to piss you off that much, with my power and all... guess I overstepped. I'm sorry." she finished looking once again away. No matter what other people could think, that she was a bitch and all... she wasn't that bad, she could understand her mistake... but if the redhead now tried to take advantage of her apologies she would make him regret that!

He sighed under his breath, stopping despite himself when she spoke up and actually apologized. His hand fell from the doorknob and he turned back halfway to face the girl once more, patiently waiting for her to finish talking... and repeating her apology. He just gave her a blank look for a moment without saying anything, until he gave out another, but much heavier sigh and scratched the back of his head. "I'm sorry too," he muttered back then. "I honestly thought we were only joking around, didn't expect you to fuckin use your powers on me for that," he shrugged. "But it scared me," he then said honestly, seeing no shame in that. "As it to would anyone, naturally. But, i've been traumtizaed by something similiar before, so... that shit you pulled only made me start to relive that moment for a bit. That's mostly why I was pissed off. Still, I overreacted too, and for that I am sorry."

She wasn't even sure he would except her apologies, let alone apologise himself! That was quite a surprise, even if she didn't show much how surprised she actually was, she mainly stared at him with a blank look, just to nod at his words in the end: it was like she couldn't understand... "I can relate..." she replied with a dry and unamused chuckle, before she sighed heavily and gave another very brief explanation "I don't like when people judge me..." she could try to explain how she hated when people assumed stuffs about her, or when people just didn't want to listen to her, even just for a stupid joke. Just cause she was not a threat to them... and then everything always changed when she sang, cause that was all that mattered, who held the power, and if she was the strongest one in the room her opinion was worth listening otherwise she was just the last stupid bimbo who was worth nothing. She could even play along with that, that didn't mean she had to like it... but no, she wasn't fond in explaining herself and her reason, as she wasn't in saying she was sorry "but enough with the 'sorries' already, or we risk to go on for the whole evening! What do you say? Can we just leave it in the past?" she offered honestly to forget the whole thing, on both sides "I promise not to use my power" she added with a slightly teasing smile "unless you really decide to piss me off, of course."

Reno hummed, somehow having been expecting for her to say that. He couldn't help but chuckle though when she kept talking, especially when saying how she disliked being judged by others. But it wasn't out of teasing or mockery he was chuckling though, no it was more out of understanding. No one liked being judged afterall.
He gave another shrug at her offer, smiling a bit when he could hear the honesty in her voice. "Don't make promises ya can't keep girly," he smirked. "I guess I'll be mature for once and forget this whole thing. Wouldn't want brother dearest at my throat after all. Especially since we're roommates."

She wasn't sure he would have agreed, she was always more ready to expect the worst from people so when they actually decided to behave nicely on their own free will, without being forced and without having anything to lose really surprised her. As did Reno now.
"Oh come on, I'm not a power-addict!" she teased, waving a hand, implying that yes, she could spare him from using her power on him unless she found it necessary. She decided not to mention that she wouldn't have said a word about the whole thing about her brother anyway, after all now it didn't make a difference: well... it wasn't for her she was doing it, it was for him. If Flynn had to live with Reno for the next few years, she surely didn't want her brother to make his new lifetime mission to find a way to kill the immortal guy... "Well, great then." She was almost tempted to ask him to re-start properly with their drinks then, one of those days, but fearing a rejection she preferred keeping her mouth shout "I'll see you around, I guess"
