Starry Night [TAG: Nolan]

Pitch had, for without the occational moments of dread, still not regretted his decision to become an international UN agent. It would give him something to do with his life. However, the crowded halls, the lit, revealing spaces and the forced interaction with others of his kind was starting to tear at him. This was where he felt at home, this was his place of comfort: The dark, musky hours of the night, away from mankind. He submerged himself in the night and the forest sounds he had learned to call home, and yet something felt undoubtedly different this night. The growing sound of footsteps interrupted his peace, and while he sank further into the shadows, Pitch knew that someone would soon be disrupting his quiet forest path. Without even knowing who was out at this late hour, he already resented them greatly.

Nolan sighed softly under his breath as he strolled back down a different path through the forest. This time he decided to come out at night today. Just to enjoy the night air and to once again, give himself a break from technology. His nerves were a bit on the high strung level due to training starting and such.
To demonstrate his powers in front of a person or two? That was perfectly fine for Nolan. But in front of a group of people? Now that was nerve wracking! But the forest was a good place for relaxation and stress relief, unless there were people out here. Though he highly doubted that due to the darkness and this place being very new to people. It was easy for him to be out here because his powers would help him if the darkness got to much for him. While Nolan got lost in his mind, his brown eyes glanced up at the sky, peering up through the trees to gaze at the stars out tonight.

Pitch peered through from between the winding trees, two piercing eyes in the darkness. He had seen the man around the grounds, nothing extraordinary about him, just another one of the puny humans he held no favor for. At times he was disgusted with himself for sharing their species.
He was well aware of the rules and regulations of this strange place he had chosen to make his new home, but he could not resist the temptation of taking another victim. It was the last remainder of his entertainment, and he would not let the opportunity pass him by. Following the man's gaze, Pitch sent a shadow over the nightsky, clouding the stars in perpetual darkness. There was enough to play with in this dark, shadowy forest. He had his dark minions surrounding him. Quickly he darkened the path ahead of the man as well, the darkness etching closer to him by the second. If he was lucky, the man would turn and flee, leaving Pitch once again to his own, but even if he didn't, Pitch could always have some more fun...

As Nolan gazed up at the stars for a moment or so, that until a shadow covered the night sky and clouding the stars in darkness. Now that wasn't normal,even if this island was for those with powers. He furrowed his eyebrows a bit as he looked away from the stars, scanning the forest around him.Something felt terribly off,especially with what looked like the path before him was being overtaken by darkness that seemed to be etching towards him. The brunette took a step back in surprise but didn't back up any further, he only held his hand out with his gaze on the darkness coming towards him. Electricity sparks started to form in his palm, swirling around like a deadly light source. Brown eyes peered around the forest, having a feeling that the source of the sudden darkness. It looked like darkness was being controlled, not natural. Nothing natural about this at all. "Quit with the little show,Ive never been afraid of the dark." Rarely his powers had made him felt safe in a few aspects of his life, such as protection on the streets and making sure he was never submerged in total darkness.

The man didn't move much, but Pitch figured it to be just the same. As the darkness surrounded him, a tornado of shadows spun around him, until he was completely covered in darkness, unable to see past the black night. A callous smile formed on Pitch's lips as he stretched out past the trees for a clearer view of his masterpiece. He could not see the man, but he knew what must be happening inside. It would be the same fearful expression he had seen so many times previously. Pitch simply stood there, between the oaken woods and awaited the scream that was sure to follow. It always followed. In fact, the man's attempt at uttering a brave speech only made Pitch the more amused. It was always what the big boys said, but he was uncertain of who they were trying to convince; Pitch or themselves.

Nolans eyes widened in surprise as a tornado of shadows had submerged around him, causing him to only see darkness every where. He cursed softly in annoyance as he stumbled around in the tornado, unsure of where to go. It was absolutely frustrating him! "I didn't come out to the forest to be messed with!" Nolan growled out in darkness, peering out into the darkness, seeing what seemed like a grin. So it was someone then. That just pissed him off even more. "Can't scare me," he muttered under his breath as electric sparks surrounded his body like a force field, getting bigger and bigger, giving him more of a light source to see where to go. Nolan ignored the shadows that surrounded him and continued to walk forward out of the tornado towards the direction of the grin. Looking unamused completely.

The sparks shocked Pitch, he had never seen anything like it. Although he knew this place was full of people with special powers such as his own, he had never been confronted with anyone fighting back. Slythering back into the shadows, he hid himself in darkness, letting it surround him as a blanket, never to be seen by these disgusting creatures. He hid for some time, his mind working frantically, trying to think as his grin quickly faded. Then he decided. His power level was strong enough, his odds felt good here, and he decided to take them. Shooting his own shadow along the ground, his shadow quickly grew and reached the other man. Pitch let his own shadow creep up along the man's figure until it reached his eyes, clouding them completely in intense darkness. No one would be so foolish as to spark their own eyes, and this time, Pitch was no longer playing, he was consentrating hard. He was determined to submerge the man in darkness, so he could not even see his own hand.

Nolan blinked in slight surprise when he saw the grin disappear, the person was definitely crafty. Slipped away before Nolan could catch sight of the person. And he so wanted to electrocute them badly! He gave out an irritated growl as he started to turn around but came to a complete stop as he seemed to be sumberged im dark. The electric sparks surrounded him more and more to his uprising confusion. No matter how muc power he used, he couldnt see anything! It was like the damn shadows got ahold of his eyes ot something! He gritted his teeth tightly as he spun around with an angered expression. "You keep shrouding me in darkness, yet you don't face me yourself! Seems to me that you're the scared little shit." He growled out in annoyance, a dark smirk forming along his lips.
