A nice cup of tea - Tag anyone

It was such a day with lot of impressions, coming to a new place and meet other peoples with powers. And the training would start soon. MK was defiantly sure that she wouldn't be able to sleep, so she went to the kitchen making some tea before she went to bed. A nice cup with lavender tea was always helping when MK had difficulties to sleep. Especially when she still used to go at school. No, stop! MK thought. It was some weeks now since she quit the school, but still her wounds hadn't healed yet. She didn't want to think about it, or else she just would start to cry. She prepared some water and sat down nearby a little table while she waited for the water too boil.

After arriving to the dorms, Nyx had a craving for some hot chocolate before she went to sleep. But first, she stopped by her room to change out of her dress from dancing at the Discopub and into a black tank top and pajama pants. As she arrived to the kitchen, she saw another girl already using the stove. She didn't expect to meet another person today, especially with how late it was, so she raised her eyebrows in a pleasant surprise. "Oh, hi there." She gave a friendly smile to the girl.

"Hey," MK replied back smiling friendly to the woman who just arrived. "Don't think we've met each other. I'm Mary Kathrine," she said reaching her hand toward her.

Walking into the kitchen, she shook the hand of the woman that was sitting there. "Pleased to meet you. My name is Nicola, but please call me Nyx," she smiled warmly before she glanced back to the stove. "So are you making tea?"

"All right Nyx, then you can call me MK for short," MK said smiling. "Yes, I'm making some tea before going to bed." The water started to boil and she found herself a cup and poured the water. It was still enough water. "Want something warm to drink?" MK offered as she looked for some honey to the tea.

"Sure, MK." She smiled back. When she offered her some tea, Nyx's smile grew wider. "Oh yes, that sounds really good right now actually. I was going to make some hot cocoa but I don't want to make a run to the supermarket. Thank you." She said as she sat down at the table.

"You're welcome Nyx," MK said smiling and found another cup for her. "I only have lavender tea if that's okay. It always help me with sleeping." MK always had some trouble sleeping when she was at new places or if she just was stressed. This tea was much better than sleeping pills.

"Ooh, no lavender is perfect." Nyx closed her eyes to imagine the warm, soothing tea on her lips. "You've got great taste, I used to drink it almost every night back home. It's my favorite." She opened her eyes to look back at MK.

"It's my favourite too," MK replied smiling. When the tea was ready she gave Nyx her cup before she sat down again. The tea smelled so good.

Nyx held her cup gently and waited for MK to sit down. She stopped herself from drinking right away and looked back up to MK with a raised eyebrow and a smile. "Should we do a toast perhaps? To tomorrow and whatever training may bring?"

"Sounds like a good idea," MK replied with a little grin.

Nyx raised her cup of tea to MK's and smiled. "A toast then. To the rest of our days on this island."

MK smiled and raised her cup too. "Cheers," she said before they took a sip of the tea. She loved the taste of lavender and honey, so sweet.

Nyx took a sip of the tea as well after the toast and it hit the spot, just right. "Mmm, this is just perfect, MK." She complimented.

"Thanks, I'm happy you liked it," MK said with a smile. She took a new sip. It really helped calming her nerves down. "I'm both exited and a bit nervous for the training. What about you?"

"Oh me too," she replied with a nod. "I have no idea what to expect. What division are you in?" She asked before taking another sip of the warm tea.

"I'm in division BCM. I'm a shape shifter," she replied. "Which division are you in then?" MK asked carefully.

"Oh that's an incredible power! What can you shapeshift yourself into?" She wondered, but was also a little disappointed that she hadn't met anybody else in PEP yet--besides Alisa, but she didn't really get the opportunity to talk to her. "I'm in PEP, I can manipulate psychic energy."

"I can shapeshift myself to be like other persons, but I struggle a bit to change my hair colour," she replied. "Psychic energy? That sounds so cool," MK said when Nyx told about her powers.

"Well that's still pretty amazing though, I can imagine it can be very useful as an agent." Nyx smiled. "Oh thanks," she replied to MK before taking another sip of tea. "It's a lot of work to maintain though."

"Yeah, I really hope so," MK replied. She really, really hoped that her trainer would find a way to help her to change her hair colour. But she was a bit afraid too that people would make fun of her because of that.

"Don't worry," she offered a friendly smile as she realized MK was stressing a little bit. "I'm sure everything will go smoothly." Nyx comforted, taking another sip. It was very relaxing.

She took a deep breath, trying to relax. "Thank you," MK said with a little smile as Nyx comforted her.

Nyx smiled at her trying to relax. "If you get too stressed, you should try meditating sometime. It really helps me to stay calm."

It didn't sound bad. Maybe she should try to meditate once? "I think I will give it a try," she said with a smile and sipped her tea.
