| Reno sighed under his breathe as he strolled around the supermarket, trying to figure out what kind of food he felt like making this upcomming week. And how much would he even be able to afford. No matter, as long as he could eat a warm, home cocked meal. Even if he enjoyed the cafeteria food so far, he felt like deciding what to eat himself. See if he still rememberd how to cook. And oh yeah, couldn't forget about the drink. Wonder what kind of alcohol they sold here? A simple beer would sit more than fine right about now.

| Remi has found herself engulfed in a conversation with a man selling fruit—the cool exotic kind are even thrown in there too. "Are you absolutely positive that they're all treated with love?" She jokes with him, which she actually wasn’t, be he didn't know that. "Okay, well your papayas smell way better than your apples, and your apples smell better than your tomatoes—so I'll take all three of those and..." Remi leans on to decipher what all she'll actually be eating, she hated wasting food. She already has a paper bag of vegetables at her feet. "What’s dragonfruit like?" | |

| Before he would've rounded the corner, Reno almost came to a stop when heard a very familiar voice speaking close by. Smiling a bit to himself, he turned his attention away from the pasta section, and headed over to where his 'acquaintance' was. "It kinda varies," he asnwerd Remi's question before the man selling them could, comming up to stand beside her while taking a look over the fruits himself. "If they're good, the can taste like a mildly sweet cucumber, or have a smiliar mild taste of Kiwi fruit. But mostly they're pretty much flavorless," he said casually. "Hey, how much are the mangoes?" | |

| Remi looks over at Reno with surprise before she smiles at him. She wasn’t expecting to see him in a supermarket, moreover he seemed like the type who spent more time stuffing his face or sleeping, or smoking cigarettes. She can’t deny that she felt kind of giddy at the sight of him. "So you’re a faithful dragonfruit eater then, huh?" She liked both cucumbers and kiwis; she didn’t really have much room to be a picky eater. Remi then raises her eyes in surprise when he inquires about the mangoes. "That’s new. Most people hate mangoes. You seem like the pear type." | |

| He snickerd, giving her a lazy shrug. "I would't call it being 'faithful', more like, having to try everything weird looking." And then there's the fact of how he's a natural fruit eater. Mmm... Maybe he should just make a fruitsalad instead? That usally kept his stomach happy for the rest of the day. He gave Remi a fake look of shock at her comment about mangoes and people. "Seriously?" he asked in disbelief, ordering himself a couple of those to take with him. "I'm incapable of understaning why that is." He gave her a funny as he registerd the next of her sentence. "Pears? Sure, they're great to mix in the fruit salad," he snorted. | |

| Remi narrows her eyes at his mock surprise. "Okay, ha-ha. Where's your positivity?" She demands, accepting her bag of fruit and reaching down for her bag of vegetables. "Well, I’m going to say it since we’re both clearly thinking it—I have partially broken my habit." Remi informs confidently. "I mean, not completely, but enough so that I don’t digress in conversation; therefore, in a sense we both win." She grins at him. "So—let's determine how we split up these rewards." | |

| Accepting his own bag of fruit from the man, Reno had to give himself a second to remember what Remi was talking about. But the moment she mentioed 'habit' he immediantlyr ecalled their whole last conversation, and the little bet they've made. He pouted down at the blonde, pretending to be dissapointed at first, before easily laughing it off and giving her head a pat as if telling her 'well done'. "Split up?" he hummed in thought. "You make me food for a week, and I'll try and stop smoking..." he trailed off. "...for a day. I really can't do more than that," he stuck his tounge out at her playfully. | |

| Remi huffs heavily. That wasn’t what she wanted. She at least needed more than a week to thoroughly work on his terrible habit. "That’s hardly fair." She points out, poking her bottom lip out. "I mean, at the very least you have to stop smoking for a week. That’s only logical—and fair. And I mean an entire seven days, Reno." She shove her bags into his hands. "And you have to carry the bags since I’m buying you food, and it’s the gentleman thing to do. Plus you have to be nice to me since I have to cook for you like a maid. Okay?" Remi beams innocently up at him. | |

| He just chuckled at her. "Life isn't fair sweetheart, get used to it," he simply retorted with, flicking her on the nose gently. He caught the bags shoved at him by mere reflex, giving her a funny look as she kept lisitng down the things he should do instead. She sure did remind him of a mother, scolding a child. "'Gentleman' ain't exactly my style, in case you haven't notcied yet," he mutterd, but carried the bags anyway without any protest. "Does a maid costume come along with the deal?" he couldn't help tease, absently wondering if she'd would fit in one. "I can't promise i'll be able to stop smoking, but I'll gladly be nice to you for free food in exange." | |

| Remi moves her face back when Reno touches her nose. "No costume." Remi holds her hand up. "I was a maid once for Halloween and it was the most uncomfortable experience." She had been groped so frequently that year she had to borrow some clothes from her friend who was throwing the party. "And I know that it's not fair, genius," She stabs her finger into his chest. "I make it fair. I can’t wait around for anything like that! Do I look like a damsel in distress to you? That means you'll only be nice for a week. And anyway you'll have to get your lunch tomorrow; I don’t have time to cook it today I have a date." | |

| "Chill would ya. I was joking," he reassured her, holding his hands up in mock surrender. He had to hold back another smirk as Remi brought up her latest experience wih wearing a maid outfit (surprsied that she's actually ever wore one to beging with). His full attention was quickly drawned back to her when she stab her finger into his chest, again feeling like he was being scolded by someone's mother. He quirked an eyebrow at the 'damsel in distress' comment, honestly not having even thought about it until she brought it up herself. He was about to try and cut in and say somethign himself, but stopped himself when Remi mentioned a date. He blinked, his expression going from mild surprsied to smug. "Well that was fast," he smirked. "Do I dare ask who the 'lucky' guy is? Or do I lack to much manners to have those rights."

| Did she say that out loud? That was an accident she’s so clumsy with her words! Remi closes her eyes, trying to come up with an excuse but has already cut herself short. "As you know I have an issue with my rambling a that you like to deny as being issues, more specifically 'problems'. I didn’t actually mean to say that out loud because I didn't really mean to tell you simply because it’s not for actual romance he just asked and I didn’t have a reason to say no. I didn’t tell you to make you jealous because I have a crush on you or anything—" Remi stops again. Well, she didn’t. At least she didn’t think she had a crush on Reno. "I mean..." She stops. "I mean..." Remi doesn’t know what she means. "Look, don’t worry about it. It doesn’t really concern you, you know?" She suggest with another shrug, turning away and walking to a merchant selling rice. | |

| "....didn't you just say you've 'partially broken your habit'? I hear no difference from last time," he ceekily remarked, stiffling another laugh. He honestly didn't think her rambling as a problem, but could see why she wanted to 'improve' that art of her. But still, it was amusing just litsening to her, and it kinda added to that cute charm of hers. He just smirked down at her when she stutterd, grinning wickedly whie she tried to correct herself, only to pout childishly when he instead brushed the whole thing off and walked over to the merchant selling rice. "I don't see why I should worry about it though," he went on as he followed her. "Afterall, you'll be cooking for me for a whole week, we're as good as dating already," he winked down at her. "Oh wait no, that wouldn't work. You're my 'acting mother', to bad~" | |

| "Well allow me to rephrase that as 'impartial'." Remi comments over her shoulder as she studies a handful of white rice. "And stop looking at me like that." She was referring to all of his smirks and cocky grins. "They make me feel like I’m a little kid." She pauses, hesitating at the mention of them already dating. "Not possible. I’m too busy to date." She says out of reflex, not bothering to correct it. "Besides, your the one who keeps calling me motherly!" Remi points out, crossing her arms and turning away from him. | |

| Reno just laughed again, genuine this time and not in his usual teasing or mocking way. "And yet you're going on a date tomorrow with what's-his-name," he pointed out, smiling fondly at the girl when she turns away from him. "A mother-figure who feels like a kid... Hmm, maybe you should put me up for adoption then," he says with a straight face, glancing around the place until he spots the meat section. Side-glancing back at Remi infront of him, he decided to skip it for today. "So anyways, what are you gonna make for me tomorrow?" he grinned. | |

| Remi looks over her shoulder at Reno. This laugh sounded different from all of his other laughs. "It’s not actually true anymore. I used to be too busy to date so I’m used to saying that I’m too busy bit was a reflex reaction. I wouldn’t be able to hold a boyfriend anyway. I’ve never had one before so I probably wouldn’t be any good at any of that girlfriend stuff. Especially kissing." She wasn’t a virgin though; she was put in a situation in which her kindness was put to the test and her judgement is just that she’s too nice. "You’re the one who shaped me into a mother figure. I could never put any of my kid up for adoption, even if they're as troublesome and misbehaved as you." Remi decides she won’t need any rice and turns to face Reno. "Spaghetti. Without the pasta. Or the meat." She chimes. | |

| Reno titled his head slightly at her, not really that surspied with the whole busy part, but a bit so when she mention never having a boyrfired. Well, nothign wrong with that, relationships weren't meant for everyone, simple as that. Reno's had his fair share of girlfriends, but most of them ended up beign only about the sex, or just wasn't serious enough. So, without surprsie, Reno wasn't the relationship type either. Not that his life before would let him have any normal ones anyway. "It's only hard work being in a relationship if you make it so," he said casually. "As long as you're comfortable and happy with your partner, there's really not much else to it." He felt his fingers twitchign a bit when the familiar craving for a cigarette hit him. Holding out a week without it would sure be a tough one. "Awww, aren't you a great mom?" he cooed playfully at her, only have his grin falter a bit when she informed him of his dinner. "Lovely," he chuckled, a little less entusiastic about it now. But, it was his idea to begin with, and it was still free food. Worth it. "Do you plan on making me a vegan as well by before he week ends?"

| "It’s not because I didn’t want to. My parents didn’t really want me dating either; put me off track they said. It’s probably really weird but I got jealous when all of my friends had relationship problems. All the romantic stuff if a bit overrated, so I agree with you about being comfortable and all." Remi explains. Her parents kind of bummed out a lot of her life now that she thinks about it. "Shut up." Remi pushes him when he makes his comment about being a great mom. "You saw through me. Do you have X-Ray vision?" She mocks. "No I’m not making you a vegan. Unless you want to. Which I doubt. You look like you love steak too much. And we already had the conversation about change. I wouldn’t change you. Even if you were dating me." Remi raises a finger to her mouth, "With the exception of smoking. We’re stopping that before it worsens. Which I sort of doubt." | |

| Reno frowned lightly at hearing this, the talk about parents was never a fun topiv for the redhead. The frown quickly vanished however, now looking abit amused instead. "Being jealous of relationship problems...?" he snorted, but with no ill meaning behind it. "Be glad you missed out on that at least. Nothing but headaches." He laughed again when she pushed him, barely even budging from his spot. "Again, that was a joke," he rolled his eyes, giving ehr shoulder a friendly pat as if telling her to chill. He quirked an eyebrow at her words, letting his hand slide down from her shoulder back to his side. "The type of who loves steak to much," he repeated in mild amusment. "What kind of person do you take me for anyway, I'm kinda curious now." A wicked grin spread over Reno's face. "So, I bascially only need to stop smoking, and then we're as good as dating. Not as easy as it sounds I'm afraid," he winked playfully. | |

| "What kind of person I take you for...Funny but obnoxious unintentionally. Nice but crude, insulting but without ill intention. Meat lover but probably willing to become vegan for a week," She winks at him at that. "Probably kind of lonely." She says quietly. "Yeathat sounds about right—" Remi stops, whirling to face Reno. "Wait, what? No." She said it mostly to keep him from holding her to it. "I’m sure I have other things to do, and we’re breaking your smoking habit as soon as possible, so don’t get comfortable mister." | |

| She got most of it down right. Oh he knew he was obnoxious alright, and depedning on his mood it could be intentionally, or not if his current 'victim' was lucky. And insulting? He never really cared if he was or not, but so far he hasn't said anythign to be mean to Remi, so she got that part right too. "Sure I enjoy a BBQ feast, but seeing as I enjoy vegatables just as much, calling me a 'meat-lover' is a bit of an exaggeration," he chuckled. "So yeah, becoming a vegan for a week is not exactly a torture session for me. Besides, the company along with it will for sure maek it worth while." He pretended he didn't hear the part of him being lonely, and simply turned his head away as if he was looking at something else. "You go around and tell every one who smokes to stop, or do I just get special treament~?" | |

| Remi flushes at his comment about her company being worth while. Remi squints at him when he averts his eyes from her. She couldn’t recall what she'd said that made him do that. "Oh, um. Not every person. Most smokers are intimidating and sometimes I can break through them. Other times people tell me to get out of their face or they hit on me. Women included. But even if they don’t, it’s still not as effective since I can’t keep track of every single rather in your case we’re on an island together. There's only so many places you can be. And somehow I doubt that you wouldn't run from me, right...?" She smile innocently up at him. | |

| Cute, Reno thought to himself at her flush, giving himself a pat on the shoulder of being the reason behind it and mentally saving the picutre of her blushing somewhere in the back of his mind. Better be ready with his phone to snap a picture next time. He lturned his head back towards her, his expression unreadable at first before smiling kindly down at the blonde. "You haven't given me a reason to run from you yet," he snickerd, patting her on the head as if she was little kid. "Now, what else is there on your shopping list?" | |

| Tadashi had had to go back to the supermarket once again: even though he had managed to find some ice creams, he had still forgotten to take the ice cream sandwiches! How on earth could he forget the ice cream sandwiches??? He simply had to go back and now he had managed to find them. And not even any ice cream sandwich: he found the cookie cat!!! Those were his favourites!!! He was simply delighted he had managed to find them and decided to buy 5 boxes!!! He was ready to check out when he noticed Remi not far from him, standing not far from the rice section. From his position, he couldn't notice Reno, since he was covered by some stands, and even though it would have been evident Remi wasn't alone if he would have stopped to check for a moment, Tadashi was just too hyper to have found that old brand of ice cream so he just rushed toward Remi and threw his arms around her, hugging her from behind "Remiiii!!! Look what I found!!!" | |

| Remi gave Reno a thankful smile before his question about her shopping list. Before she can speak, the most familiar voice to her screaming her name and a tight and loving embrace from behind. "Tadashi? Oh my gosh, now way!" Remi knows how much Tadashi loves these ice cream sandwiches. She turns, not strong enough to break his hold, though. "Thanks a lot for coming with me to the market! That’s the second time you’ve abandoned me since we got here! Some friend you are!" She grins up at him, honestly happy to see him. She was feeling like he was actually too busy for her! Which she knew wasn’t true, but she still felt like it. She returns his embrace by wrapping her arms around his neck. | |
