| Elsa had arrived some days later than any other agent, it was something done intentionally: she wanted to avoid the big crowd, avoid the mass of people coming all together, having to stay in a room following a speech with anyone else... no, that wasn't good for her. For her own sake and everyone else's, she had decided to wait just a couple of days. She arrived in the afternoon by plane, and when she left the plane two governmental guards followed her, escorting her toward the main building.
She looked almost like a prisoner, with those two men with negating powers constantly keeping an eye on her and blocking her, but she was actually thankful for their presence: what actually made her nervous were all those people... There were so many around the place, walking around, chatting, some of them even quite stared at her... she couldn't recall being in a place so populated in such a long, long time... She breathed deeply and tried to focus on staying calm and relaxed, she couldn't allow fear to take the best of her. Emotions were always a danger.
As they reached the entrance of the training centere, one of the EVEs approached her and told her Mirage was waiting for her "Please follow me." Elsa simply nodded and started walking, followed herself by the two guards. As she reached the office, the EVE provided itself to knock on the door and inform the headmistress that she was there before it left to go back to its duties. As Elsa heard the voice of the headmistress, she opened the door herself, stepping in with the two guards. | |

| Mirage was not one to get excited. In fact, her cold composure was necessary to run a successful facility such as this, but for once she had made an exception. A lot of time had passed since she learned of miss Svart's situation, and tireless hours had gone into arranging this settlement. She knew, of course, that Elsa would not take this transfer lightly, but Mirage honestly thought it was for the better. The girl had suffered enough. Once the EVE announced their arrival, Mirage was already promptly on her feet and nodded to the two agents to the side. They looked about as nervous as she expected Elsa to be. The situation had been explained briefly, on a need-to-know basis, but this would surely take some getting used to. And with the danger involved, Mirage knew she was asking a lot of them. She would be forever grateful. She barely had time to think before Elsa entered the room. She took a few steps forward to greet her, smiling as warmly as she could. "Elsa, I cannot express my joy from seeing you here at last." Elsa wasn't fully informed at this moment, so the nervousness on her face was to be expected. Hopefully she would feel much more secure once she learned what was arranged for her, and the part these two, young students would have in her safety. | |

| This was the first time since arriving here, that Fred could admit or even notice himself of being a bit nervous. Ok no, that was a lie. He was more thna usta bit nervous. Don't get him wrong, he was still excited about his upcomming years here on Elite. And as honuoured he felt being entrusted this speical mission (he's still tyring to get over the chock that they're putting him on it, off all people) the whole thing about risking his life didn't sound that appealing. They ahnd't even begun their training yet , so to speak. And as far as Fred knew, he didn't have any problem in controling his powers either, but... still. He wasn't sure himself eyt what he felt abotu ahving to use his abilites on someone else. Of course, from the information they've so far given him and the agent by his side, he understood their reasons. This was some major serious buissness, but everyone knew Fred didn't do 'serious'. As the door opened, Fred turned to look at the new arrival, and as if he just didn't entrusted to a dangerous and so out-of-his-league-type of mission, he smiled. Bright and cheerful like he always did, and gave a small yet enthusiastic wave to the girl. She didn't give of the vibe of being dangerous at all to him.

| Cassie surprised herself by managing a weak smile, it was more than what she thought she would accomplish. This whole situation seemed to make her nausious and dizzy, and now that the girl was indeed standing right in front of them, this felt all the more real. A fraud. That was all she felt like. Her pityful level 4 did not fit in this picture, she was not qualified for a mission this important, and if she failed.. well, Mirage had not neglected to tell them about the consequences. This was too big for her, and the fear was eating at her from the inside. Not only for herself, but for all the people she would harm if she could not manage her task. Her only hope would be to conceal her true level from this dangerous girl. If she thought she was powerful, if she believed in her, even if it was all a front, that might be enough to keep the girl calm and her powers at bay. | |

| As Elsa stepped in the office, she was greeted by the headmistress herself stepping toward her and smiling warmly. Elsa hinted a smile as well, but as always her expression remained mainly unchanged, cold and distant. There was just a hint of nervousness on her face, just a hint but still visible, and for her standards it was still much. She was trying her best to focus on staying calm and composed, but with such a change in her life... it surely wasn't easy! "It's a pleasure to see you again, Mirage" her voice was terribly flat and cold, but still, Mirage should have known she meant her words. And she called her by her name by instinct, even if she probably should have called her by her title of headmistress, but she knew the older agent since she was just a child and the woman had been coming regularly to see her in her governmental prison, Elsa felt like she had known her forever... The girl gave also a quick look at the two guys, the boy and the girl, sitting as well in Mirage's office, but her expression didn't change one bit and remained unbothered, even though in the inside it was harder than it looked to remain calm and uncaring... Meanwhile, the two guards at her sides were still waiting for orders, unsure wether they should stay or leave... | |

| Mirage signaled for the guards to leave. There was no reason for their presence whilst Tyler, Sanders and Mirage herself were present. Mirage alone would provide enough power to ensure everyone's safety. Once they had left, and closed the door behind them, Mirage only took a second to smile reassuringly towards their new arrival, the girl who had begun to feel like family, before stating what was needed to be adressed. "Elsa, I know you're frightened, so there are a couple of people I want you to meet. This is agents Cassie Tyler and Fred Sanders. Their powers work similarly to mine, resulting in the negation of powers. They will accompany you at all times in this facility, and ensure your safety." It was unnecessary to add the safety of others. Elsa already knew as much, and reminding her, putting it in words, would only frighten her more. There was no need for that at present. | |

| Whatever tension currently hanging in the room, clearly went unnoticed by Fred, who for now felt a little more calm about the whole special mission assignment. Both Elsa and Tyler looked nice people to work with. Of course the worry and concern about the possibility of screwing the whole thing up still lingered in his mind. But, what good would worrying do already? He was still happy to get to know more people. "Hiya, it's nice to meet you!" he happily greeted after Mirage introduced them, catching himself of maybe being a little too happy-go-lucky for the situation, and tried to look a bit more serious. Pretend you're Batman, he told himself. A nicer and less emo version of Batman. Yeah, that'll work. | |

| Cassie was truly grateful when Fred stepped up and greeted Elsa. If he were to be the outgoing one, he could be the distraction while Cassie simply stayed put behind him, staying quiet and demanding minimal attention, just the way she liked it. Her shyness allowed for a smile, but little more. In fact, even that was a lot to ask of her in this stressful situation. Part of her wondered if joining Elite had actually been the best idea. She could have been at home, relaxed and safe, right now. Instead, she was risking her life, and everyone elses' with her. It was simply too much pressure to handle right now. | |

| When Mirage signaled the guards to leave, Elsa didn't even turn to greet them: they were just her guards after all, they were no friends of hers, no matter for how long she had known them, she had no real bond toward them. They did look at her for a moment, but knowing her, they left without a word. As she was left alone with the headmistress and the two young strangers, Mirage started talking again: now that clarified who they were: basically, those young agents were her new guards. She was expecting to have some, obviously, and Mirage didn't mention that (but she didn't need to, after all), but the main reason wasn't Elsa's protection but everyone else's. And now... Elsa took a good deep cold look at the two agents, not even replying at Fred's greeting. Those two agents were young and they didn't seem even very experienced, and... they were only two! Was Mirage's idea of a joke? She tried to stay calm but surely it was evident how all of this was effecting her mood and her power as well... "Should I be escorted only by those two?" | |

| The force of Elsa's temper hit Mirage. It upset her to know that Elsa still needed so much help, even now, but she wouldn't let the disappointment show. Elsa was under enough pressure without thinking she had disappointed Mirage yet again. "Elsa.." she tried calmly, hoping to reach her before her anger and uncertainty grew. Her question raised an opportunity, and Mirage hoped she wasn't just threading water here. "Yes, I believe they will provide sufficient help. This isn't a prison, we're not trying to monitor you. These agents have no obligation to even report back to me." She covered her own insecurities in her professional facade, and smiled just like she always would, never letting the world see her thoughts. Still, she worried Sanders and Tyler might not have been able to withstand the wave of emotion coming from Elsa at present. | |

| The cold look Elsa gave him and the other agent didn't seem to affect that much, if his still present smile was anything to go by. But wow, that girl sure felt... cold. A small feeling of concern began to well up within him as he titled his head a bit, eyes never leaving the girl they had been assigned to watch over. His smile then finally dropped as he listened to Mirage trying to calm Elsa down, and explain the things to her. This made him start feel insecure again, about this whole mission and his the capacity of his own abilities. Obviously, being escorted only by him Tyler didn't sit well with Elsa. But still he felt more concerned for her than himself as he took notice of her reaction to this. Should he say something? Try to reassure her as well? Didn't feel like he had the right to.

| Just the two of them... being escorted only by them... it was what Cassie had been afraid of all along, but hearing the words of concern spoken out loud made everything so much worse. It assured her that the fear was justified, and that it wasn't just herself who did not believe in her, no one did. No one ever should. She was the last resort, the only option, she knew very well that Fred and her were the only agents on grounds with the ability to negate powers. That still didn't make her a wise choice. Suddenly she could see it all; the pressure of negating strong powers, the failure to do so, the horrifying consequences that followed, the distraught faces of everyone she had let down. There was no way this would go well, and visualizing it made her want to vomit. The smile was gone from her face now. She simply stood still in her spot, wanting so badly to run away, but knowing so well she could not. | |

| Elsa could feel her whole body stiffen, she tried so hard not to let panic invade her mind, but it was so incredibly difficult to do so and even her cold and and unbothered facade now was starting to melt... But she couldn't afford it! She didn't want to hurt anyone, but she wasn't used to be left on her own, she had always been with someone, always monitored, always seen like this horrible monster that had to be contained... in the best case, people just told her that the monster wasn't her, that this monster was just inside of her, ready to attack... well, it was ready to attack now... She gulped, trying to maintain her calm, but her power was already pushing against Mirage's negation. "No offense, but how much experience do you have? What level are you?" she asked coldly, talking actually for the first time to Cassie and Fred | |

| "They are not as powerful as yourself, that is a given." Mirage started quickly, before either of them had the opportunity to speak for themselves. She did not wish for this to turn into a catastrophe before they had even given it a try. "But they are more than capable, and I will look after you. Tell an EVE if you require my presence and I will be with you in a heartbeat. Tyler and Sanders will not completely nullify your powers, but will considerably lower the strength, rendering it managable. You will be like any other student here, and that is how you will seem." She hoped that the fact she remained unflinching even with Elsa's powers consentrated against her barriers, made Elsa trust her more. Mirage would stay in control no matter how hard Elsa pushed. She would never fail her. | |

| Fred opened his mouth to answer, apparently not taking any offense to Elsa's question or her obvious lack of trust in their ability. However, Mirage quickly cut in, making Fred close his mouth and take half a step back. He watched with growing concern the conversation between the two women, and then side-glanced Tyler who wasn't looking too good herself. Hoping to catch her attention, at least for a mere moment, he offered her a smile, as if trying to reassure her too that thing would turn out ok. After all, if Mirage herself had decided to put faith in them, that counted for something right? Surely she wouldn't just throw them into this mission if she thought the risk would be big to take. And like she said, she'd be looking after Elsa too. The girl wouldn't be on her own in this. | |

| Cassie turned to face the other agent, whose name she had quite forgotten in her panic. His smile triggered guilt for that, but she was everlastingly grateful for the attempt. Even so, it did little to calm her down. She could feel her breath grow quicker, more strained, and her vision narrowing. Quickly she looked down again, focusing on her shoes and trying to block every other thought from her mind. Calm down, Cassie, you can't do this now, they all need you. Think of your shoes, look at your shoes. Such pretty laces, right? But look at that spot.. need to do something about that.. shh, just think of your shoes. | |

| Elsa did try to calm herself down... If Mirage was around, if the EVEs would always allow her to reach her... maybe she could deal with that? But as Mirage admitted that the two agents wouldn't be able to stop completely her power, Elsa's calm became completely a forgotten thing: here face, usually so cold and distant, was now the pure expression of panic and fear, pale as had just seen a ghost. "Any other student?" She almost shouted in a high pitched voice, loosing completely control over her power, leaving only Mirage in charge of it, totally unable to control it any longer "Mirage I'm not any student! You know what I can do! You know what I did! What if I don't call you in time? What if you don't arrive quickly enough?" The last time Elsa had cried, really cried, she was 5, but still, here eyes now were lucid for tears she wouldn't allow to fall. "I'm more monster than person and you want to allow me to go around with only those two around? Have you forgotten what I am? What I'm capable of?" she was now close to have a panic attack: she had lived almost her entire life under strict surveillance, and seeing how she had been the cause of her family's death as well as the reason of a massacre of people, she never complained, nor she blamed anyone for seeing her like a monster. She actually agreed with that vision... | |
