Surf and Sun (Tag: Karissa)

Zack had gone to the beach again. It seemed to be his favorite hang out so far, mostly because his family had been far too poor to take trips to the beach and now he could do it everyday. Seemed he had one or two selfish desires that he couldn't quite shake despite his attempts to be mature and responsible. He smiled and stretched out on the his towel. The sun felt wonderful on his feathers. When it came to be fall or winter he wouldn't get to do this often.

She was looking outside the recreation center window and saw that it was a beautiful day it outside to relax on the beach, and she remembered meeting other agents and they seemed pretty friendly so, she wondered who was she going to meet this time. She remembered the beach by her beach home being really nice, but, not as nice as this one. So, she quickly changes into her bathing suit and while running to the water, some guy with feathers caught her eye. The guy looked so cool, but, she felt like going into the water right now, so, she lays her towel next to the guy and decides to jump into the water. She felt that cool water going onto her skin and into her hair as well, and did it feel nice. She loved the sun as well, but, swimming couldn't hurt right now; after swimming for a couple of minutes, she felt a little cold and quickly runs back to her towel and lies down.

Zack had just been minding his own business when a redhead whizzed past him, kicking sand up and into his face. He spluttered and coughed as he brought a hand up to clear it away. It was certainly very unwelcome since he had just been trying to lay out on the beach like everyone else was.

When she felt the wind coming across her skin when running a couple of seconds ago, she saw that some guy next to her was starting to cough, and didn't know she didn't know that she was running right past him. She felt bad that was a little too disrespectful on her part for making him cough like that. She saw that he was trying to get rid of the sand that was near his face, and she had to apologize to the guy. She taps him gently on the shoulder, and nervous scratches her head; "Sorry for running like that in your direction. I didn't notice you there.. I'll move to another spot if you want me to." She quickly apologizes and grabs her beach towel and starts to move to another area of the beach, as though she thought that he just wanted to be alone at the moment.

"Hey," Zack said between coughs and splutters. "It's a free beach. You already apologized so we're good!" He offered her a semi-sandy smile. He reached for his water bottle and doused his face, cleaning the sand off and drying it with his towel. "See? All good!"

As Karissa was about to go off to find her own place to rest on the beach, she hears him coughing and and spluttering out the sand that was still on his face. She then hears him forgiving her, and she quickly goes back. It was a good point that this place was a free beach, so, why not stay wherever one wants to stay. She runs back with her belongings and saw that he was offering her some smile and sees him cleaning his face and once his face was dry again, she nods. "Ah, glad that we're good then." She responds, with a light blush on her face once he sees his face. He did look pretty cute from the way he was looking at her and he did look pretty friendly. She then lays down on her towel and looks at him with a small smile. "So, you came here to relax as well?" She asked, as she started up the conversation.

"Yeah, can't exactly swim with these," Zack lifted a heavy wing. He could but his feathers would get weighed down with the water. All in all it was a bad combination for the winged man. "But hey, don't let me hold you back! You should totally go enjoy the water while you can! Fall is coming."

Once she saw that he had wings, her eye widened and thought it was really cool of him to have wings on his back. "Whoa, are those...wings? They're amazing." She complimented, and didn't notice them originally when she ran back to her two until now. That, she didn't see coming at all. She never saw a winged man before, and she only read about them in books, but, never saw one in real life. This was just really amazing; first a giant venus fly trap in the greenroom, and now a winged young man. "Oh, I see.." she said, and saw that the water was still sparkling from where she was standing. She was a little cold, and wanted to have a little conversation with this guy. "Well, it's a little cold right now and I want to dry up.. so, I'll go in a little later." She responds as she continued to shiver a little while resting in the sun. She lays on her sides and looks at the guy, and tries to get closer to the sun light, so, she can get some sun as well. "So, what is your name? I have to say, I really admire your wings. They are really beautiful.." She compliments him with a small smile.

"Zack Fair," he replied. "And thank you." He tended to get a lot of compliments over his wings. He was quite used to it by now but he would always welcome attention. So he smiled as she sat down next to him. He moved his wings a little closer. Getting sand off his feathers was always a pain.

She looked over to the young man who introduces himself as "Zack" and she nods. "Well, pleased to meet you, Zack. The name's Karissa." She said, and looked at his wings again. She could not help but not take her eyes off of his wings. He looked as though he got a lot of comments regarding his wings, but, they were really nice, so, why not get compliments on them. "Your welcome, Zack. So, what brings you here? If I don't mind asking.." She asked, with some redness across her face. She thought this guy was really cute and at the same time, hot. She saw that was he was smiling and she gave him a grin back, and saw that he was bringing his wings closer and she saw that they were really beautiful amongst the sunlight. She then lends out a hand to shake his hand.

"Brings me out?" Zack asked. "Isn't it obvious? The weather today is great. Besides, fall is going to come soon. Won't be warm enough to just bum it out at the beach." He noticed her staring at his wings, almost too intently. "Uh, you want to touch them?" he asked, lifting a wing so she knew what he was talking about.

When she heard him saying that the weather was great for relaxing on the beach, she felt the summer breeze going towards her skin. No wonder why he and a few other people came out here to relax. "Yeah, you're right. The weather is really nice today, and I have to say, Fall won't have the same breeze like this..." She said, as she continued to feel the warm breeze. It reminded her of her home state, Florida where the weather would feel like this. She then heard the guy's offer for her to touch the wings, and she briefly nodded. "Of course, thank you." She said, and touched the wings that felt really nice amongst her fingers. "Wow, Zack, they feel really smooth..." She complimented, and felt her heart beating.
