Not adorable! [Luca]

Hiro hummed to himself as he looked over the big, heavy books on the shelf, looking very concentrated in his search as his eyes keep scanning over the titles. He had already picked out quite a few he had decided to bring back with him, now currently laying in a small pile beside him, seeing as they were a bit more than heavy for him to carry around all the time. He smiles to himself when he finally finds the book he was looking for, only to frown when he can't reach it. Grumbling to himself, he jumps as he made another attempt at grabbing it, but much to his annoyance still couldn't reach it.
Stupid shelf, he thought to himself, jumping again but still misses his target. Stupid lack of height!

Luca had started his day after breakfast in the cafeteria to stroll around the recreation center, taking in the different sites in the center. He tilted his head a bit at the sight of the book store. He wondered for a moment if there was any books in there that could help him about his powers. So he paused for a moment to decide, Luca finally gave in to his thoughts before heading into the bookstore. As he walked throughout the store, Luca gazed at the books, searching through the titles before he caught sight of a familiar face in the corner of his eye. Grinning a bit in amusement as he watched the younger male from the beach, Hiro, jumping up and trying to get a book down. After a while of watching the male struggle, Luca finally decided to walk over to where the male was, reached up and grabbed the book from the shelf before handing it down at Hiro. "Trying to get this I assume?" Luca chuckled softly, as he gave the male a light wave.

Beign way to focused on his current task, Hiro didn't even noticed when someone else approached him, at leats not until another hand had reached over him and grabbed the damn book. Jerking away a bit in surprise, Hiro snapped his head up to see who it was who had suddnely thougth he'd needed help (beacuse he didn't, he was just about to reach it...). "Uh yeah, thanks...." he mumbled, snatching the book away from Luca's hand. Ignoring the tickling feeling in his stomach, Hiro quickly focused down on his book, smiling happily to himself as he quickly browsed throguh it. Yupp, this book would do! "So, what are you looking for?" he asked without looking up from the page.

Luca ignored the male snatching the book out of his grasp, giving the male a friendly grin. It didn't bother him that much. "No problem." he remarked out as he watched the younger smile to himself while browsing through the book. At least he seemed to be in a good mood, minus the book snatching. But that was probably just due to the male's embarrassment and pride. He tore his gaze up from the male back onto the shelves, searching for any book for his cause. "Something that could help me control my fire better, after manipulating it out of air. There have been times that it has gotten out of hand." if you counted the wild fires that he started back then.

Hiro glanced up from the book at this, a small glint of intriguement in his brown eyes. "By setting something on fire," he more stated than asked. Closing the book he was currently browsing through, he bent down to his (not so small) pile of gatherd books, and quickly stood back up with another book in hand. "If your powers are concected to your emotions, maybe this could give you some advice?" he suggested as he held it out for the older male. He was of course no expert when it came to elemental manipulations, but since their last meeting Hiro would have to admit that he's been looking more into it. How could you not be fascinated by abilites like that?

Luca nodded his head lightly as he turned his gaze back onto the male, giving him a sheepish grin. "You guessed right about settinvs things on fire." He remarked with alight nod of his head.He blinked down at the book in surprise before taking a hold of the book and flipping through the pages. "Been studying up on other powers i see." Luca commented in a teasing tone before adding,"Dont think its my emotions though. I guess my control is just not that strong to contain manipulated fire for long."

Hiro gave a shrugg. "Not that hard to figure out, considering what kind of powers you have," Hiro responed nonchallantly, making a mental note to ask how high the risk of fires were for the older male. Not that Hiro was concerned over his safety, oh no, he would love to see it with his own eyes. Feeling a blush comming on at Luca's teasing, he quickly averted his eyes and pretended to be looking elsewhere. "So? I like to learn, no shame in that," he huffed, but soon enough got another thoughtful look in his eyes. Crouching back down to his pile again, he stood back up with another book in hand. "Well that's easy then, maybe you just haven't found the best way for you to focus?" he suggested, offering Luca the other book. "What do you usually think about whenever you use your power?"

"Wild fires to be exact." Luca commented with a light shrugs of his shoulders. He wasn't that ashamed to speak of his fails and power accidents. Besides it wouldn't do any harm. "There isn't. Gives you an advantage really." Luca remarked with a light grin as he watched the male crouched down and picked up another book before offering it over to Luca. The brunette took the book and handed over the earlier book back over to Hiro, so he could flip through this book. Luca then paused for a moment at the male's question before answering, "Well when it was back home, I just thought about practicing my tricks or starting up a new trick. Or just making improvements."

Hiro look thoughtful again at this, humming quietly while glancing over the many books on the shelf (most of them still to far up for him to reach). "So, you don't really need to focus much?" he asked, titling his head a bit as he stared up at Luca. He didn't seem like a guy who would have a problem with concentrating, if his laid-back and relaxed personality was anything to go by. "Do you just picture it in your head whenever you want to create something?"

Luca shook his head a bit. "Only if its a trick performance." He answered the younger male as he thought about what he usually did with his powers.Luca then nodded his head in response to the male's question. "Most of the time. It starts out good so far, but sometimes it goes haywire."

Hiro frowned a bit as he thought more about it, going to his little 'mind palace'. "So maybe that's the problem," he thought out loud, now more focused on browsing through yet another book he had picked up. "Maybe you're way to relaxed? That's a good thing too with the powers you have, but the more you put into those tricks of yours, naturally the more focused you need to be," he trailed off while reading through something he found, unconsciously having stepped closer to the older. "Well, since I still need to research more on these kind of powers, i'm sure your trainer will tell you exactly what you need to know-" he jerked back a few steps when he realised how close they suddenly were, and tried to brush his embarrassment off by acting casual and turning away. "B-beacuse that's why we're hereafterall," he said quickly, trying to collect all of the books he had planned to buy, ignoring how difficult it was turning out for him to carry it all.

"You're probably right about that." Luca murmured lightly, sideglancing over at the younger male and watching as he got absorbed with another book. Also noticing how close the other male had gotten to him, but didn't think much about it. "I wonder what our trainers will be like." He murmured in a curious tone, thinking of some ideas. He the lightly smiled as Hiro seemed embarrassed and had shuffled away from him. "It'll be a relief." Chocolate brown eyes watched as the younger male struggled with collecting the pile of books that he had made. "Let me help."

Mentally scolding himself for getting overly excited (again), he pulled his hood over his head in attempt to hide his face. Since when did he start to blush so damn easily anyway?! He might start to worry if his face kept heating this quickly. He jerked a bit when Luca offerd to help, and was just about delince and insist that he could handle it own his own thankyouverymuch, only to dropp a couple of books and almost trip over himself.
"...yeah, thanks..." he mumbled in defeat, pulling down his hood a bit more.

Luca raised an eyebrow as the male pulled his hood down, most likely to hide his blush. "It's a bit to late to hide your blush." He spoke up with a light amused grin as he watched the male. His eyes widened a bit before Luca quickly moved and picked up the books that dropped. "You alright?" He asked the male in a worried tone, wanting to know if the male was alright.

"No it's not," he childishly shot back, quickly stikcing his tounge out at the older before tunign away again. While ignoring the dirty look from the shopkeeper, and the fact that he was still unnecesarily close to Luca, Hiro only tried to focus on tripping over his feet, which apparetnly was easier said than done. "Of course I am!" he asnwerd a little to quickly, resulting in him losing what little balance he had left, and began to fall backwards...

Luca chuckled softly at the male's childish antics, shaking his head ever so slightly. "It's a bit to late to deny it as well." he grinned lightly as he carried the books in his hand, glancing over at the shopkeeper and giving him an apologetic smile. The brunette quirked an eyebrow as the younger male seemed to be having trouble with keeping his balance. "Hey now, you might want to focus on staying on your feet!" he proclaimed before cursing softly under his breath as Hiro fell backwards. Luca then moved quickly enough to catch the male with one arm while his other arm was full of books.

Well, so much for Hiro trying to keep his cool and not blush any more than he already was. He lowerd his head as he felt Luca catch him, hoping to hide his face behind the books he somehow didn't managed to drop this time. He mumbled something inaudible under his breathe, letting a small huff as he hurriduly tried to straighten himself back up.

Luca glanced down at the male with a confusd expression. "What happened to keeping your balance?" He remarked in a teasing tone as the male quickly straightened himself up. It was surprising that the male had not dropped any more books. "Did you say something by the way?"

"Y-you distracted me!" Hiro shot back, grabbing the books Luca had been so kind to pick up after dropping them, and dropping them carelessly along side the rest on the counter, much to the shopkeeper's displeasure. He mumbled out a curt 'No,' at Luca's other question, quickly paying for the books and then proceeded to pack them all down in the bags.

Luca furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, rubbing the back of his neck lightly. "How so? I was helping you with the books...and maybe teasing you a bit." he grinned sheepishly, not really hiding that fact at all. He watched as the male payed for the books and packed them all down in the bag with a moment of silence passing between then two. "Sorry about the teasing" he murmured sheepishly as he averted his chocolate brown gaze somewhere else.

"You said that last time, and yet you still keep teasing me," Hiro mutterd, grabbing this two (heavy) bags and began heading out of the shop, trying to hide the fact that it was quite the struggle for him. He glanced back towards Luca. "Umm.... you can apologize by carrying this," he suggested.

Luca chuckled lightly, shrugging his shoulders in an unbothered manner. "I can't help it...although my teasing is just harmless and playful." Luca never made his teasing out to intially hurt others. He was being harmlessly playful, and couldn't help that Hiro was his 'victim'.
He smiled a bit, nodding his head light before taking a bag to lessen the struggle for the younger male.

Hiro pouted, for the moment not carign at all how childish he may be acting. But seriusly, the teasing was getting old (from his point fo view) but apparently not for people like Luca. But, well... he'd be lying if he calimed to hate all the attention Luca was giving him. Yes, it was annoying and he did not like being called or seen as 'cute'. Still... It wasn't horrible.
"So, is this your way of making friends, teasing them half to death, or am I just special?" Hiro hafl joked.

"Usually the people that I tease don't respond the way you do." Luca remarked sheepishly, grinning lightly at the male's joking tone. "So yeah, you could say that you're special." he added in a bright tone, as he glanced down at the male. His teasing was never meant to harm anyone. But it seemed to bring out some strange reactions from the smaller male that he had met on the beach for the first time. "So have you explore any more new places on the island?" he asked the male in a curious tone.

"Well, I'm not like 'people' in general in case you haven't noticed," Hiro reorted with after a moment, finally having ben able to will away his blush. Although, that comment about him being special did funny things to his stomach.
He grinned up at Luca, as if to reassure the older that he wasn't in a bad mood (he was just easily flustered by comments like his ok?! Nothing else to it...). "And yupp! Only places i haven't had time to chekc out yet should be the zoo," he said offhandely. "How about you? Found some good place to train on your pow-ICE CREAM!"
And just as suddenly of his little outburt, the boy was off toward opposite their current direction.
