Everyone needs a chance to eat (TAG: Andy)

Luca grinned in delight as his plate was loaded with delicious food, before heading over to a table to eat. He gazed around at the people in the cafeteria, wondering to himself their powers and when he'd meet all of them. He'd probably meet a couple of them before training started. But that didn't matter yet. All that mattered was getting this food in his stomach so he didn't starve. Luca found him a table and sat down at it, before he started to munch of his chicken sandwich.

Andy glanced over his book at the person who'd joined him at the table. He wasn't entirely sure how to react to them, so he quickly dropped his gaze back down to his book, hoping they wouldn't try to engage him in a conversation.

Chocolate brown eyes glanced over at the person that had been at the table first and seemed to be reading a book. Rather than eating. Well that was strange. Luca then took quick notice of the male glancing over at him before quickly dropping his gaze back to the book below on the table. "Ya know, I saw that right?" Luca remarked out as he took a sip of his mountain dew.

Andy felt his cheeks heat up slightly at having been noticed, reluctantly lowering his book. "I was hoping you hadn't," he admitted. With the book down his lunchbag was visible, but it wasn't currently open. He'd been more interested in his reading than starting to eat just yet.

Luca chuckled a bit at the male's remark, taking quick notice of the male's cheeks heating up lightly in embarrassment. "Well seems like you're out of luck then." Luca remarked out in a teasing tone before glancing at the lunch bag that was now visible due to the male lowering his book. "Guess you're not that hungry right now?"

Andy shrugged. "I was more interested in what I was reading," he replied, giving the other boy a shy smile. He marked his page and shut the book.

"Oh? Is that so?" He tilted his head in a curious manner as he glanced over at the book with interest. "What's the book?" Luca questioned the male, wondering to what kind of book could take someone's interest away from food. That easily that is.

"It's called Quicksilver. It's actually a sequel. Anyway, the main character is an asexual girl who's a master at engineering." He smiled, glancing down at the book fondly.

((Fyi, that is a real book and it's really good.))

Luca blinked in surprise at the name of the book and gave the male a sheepish grin. "Almost thought it was about magneto's son." He remarked, tilting his head at the male. "Is it really good?"

Andy chuckled.  "Ya, I think so anyway.  This one also has more on the sci-fi end than the first book.  In the first one you start off thinking the main character is insane.  The sci-fi doesn't really come in until the very end."  He was more animated than usual, excited to talk to someone about fiction he enjoyed.

Luca grinned a bit as he listened to the male talking eagerly about the book. It seemed to have brought the male way out of his quiet shell from earlier. "Sounds like a really interesting book!" he exclaimed with a light grin, nodding his head lightly. It did sound interesting, even if his kind of books were mostly about adventure and magic. "I'm really into 'The Kingkiller chronicle' series."

Andy smiled, head tilting curiously to the side. "What's that one about?" he asked. He was pretty flexible in his book tastes, though he found the lead character in this book particularly relatable.

"Well it's about a guy named Kvothe, who's retelling his story about his life from his life on the streets after his parents death to the University. That teaches stuff close to magic." He paused for a moment before adding, "So far two books are out, just waiting on the third book to come out." Luca could slightly relate to Kvothe due to his powers, but was glad that he couldn't relate to him on his family death in the book. Both of their family were traveling troupes.

"That sounds interesting; is it going to be a trilogy or longer?" Andy queried. He always had too many books he wanted to read, but that never stopped him from adding more to his list of options.

"I think it's going to be a trilogy." Luca answered the male's question with a light smile. "Been waiting quite some time for the third book to come out." It was seriously grating at him, but Luca just had to be a bit patient.

Andy smiled. "Waiting for new books in a series is always frustrating. I actually didn't realize this sequel existed until I was looking up fiction with asexual characters." He played with the zipper on his lunch bag for a moment before undoing it, retrieving his food from inside. He took out a tupperware with hummus in it and a ziploc with pita bread.

"Wow! Must have been awesome though to find a sequel to a favorite book." Luca grinned, chuckling softly a bit. He tilted his head to the side before gesturing over at the tupperware, before asking "What's that?"

Andy nodded in agreement, grinning lightly. His eyes fell down to the tupperware at the question. "Oh, it's hummus. It's mostly made out of ground garbanzo beans. Anyway, it's a sort of dip," He explained.
